Really satisfied with the food quality. The place is so clean and the food is superb The price is a little bit higher compared to other places. But if you want quality tasty food go here.. Recommend to try: Paneer Fried Rice.

Love the lavins special thosai. It was so good. But I felt the price was pricey. It was like a different price for foreigners and local was different. A thosai cause almost 500 to 600 rupees. In Colombo I only pay 250 to 350 rupees for ghee masala. Just beware on that. Other than that food was so goos even the staff he was so kind. Thank you. I will recommend this place strongly.

Excellent lunch, paratha, ginger sambal, veg curry. Then a nice gulag jamun. The mango lassi was delicious, but at Rs700 over priced.

This veg restaurant is opposite to the thinnavely market. We went here for a short break after shopping and had falooda and milk shake. Pretty neat place and there is so much on the menu. Their menu seems to be an influence from the Indian cuisine, so if you miss Indian food or want to try then it is a must visit place. The ambience and the service is good. They suppose have a beeda shop. This hotel is a good treat for vegetarian lover. Tariff seems to be a bit high, however considering the country situation, i think the price surge is inevitable.

The food is awesome and tastier .... The fried rice was very spicy even though I asked a less spich meal for kids.. Finally We had the rice and they had Thosa.. Staff was really nice and can handle Sinhala language and English Language both at a good rate... Nice place to have a meal in Jaffna...

Quality Food but bit over priced. They have wide range of menu. Friendly staff and having very good manners but the guy who staying in the cashier has no manners at all scolding the waiters Infront of everyone. Better change their approach towards their Staff. They charged 150/- for a cup of hot water

Amazon place to eat authentic indian ( Vegetarian ), presentation is good and also portion size is good also. And specially try thier drinks its amazing delicious and freshly prepared in front of us (Specially mango and ginger lime is amazing ) Highly recommend place as a resturant.

I found them via Google and the hype was real. The prices are steep for Jaffna standards but they deliver fantastic vegetarian food. Their crispy dosas, parathas, butter paneer and cashew chickpea curry were so good. They're even able to offer real mild food, which is amazing for foreigners. The standard is proper Jaffna spicy which I loved but my wife was very grateful for her mild curry. If you like pomegranates, get the juice. It's expensive but it's the best Pom juice I've had since Thailand. There's no sugar or water added. The servers were very helpful as well.

This place has the best Kadri curry I have ever had!! It was delicious. It was also a large serving and we managed to share 1 curry, 1 rice portion and 1 Garlic Naan set.. However, the prices were quite high.

The best vegetarian restaurant in the whole island srilanka!!! This is beyond awesome and I would recommend anyone to try this out if you want to experience the best of authentic Jaffna. My family and I had a great time. Excellent food, friendly staff and a very clean restaurant.

Tried the paneer curry, garlic naan and a dosa. Prices are fairly expensive here however food was extremely tasty. The recommended dosa in particular was really good and filling

Extremely pricey for the location. 5 star price for 0 star service. Inside it was dark with no lights turned on. They could easily afford to pay for electricity for their overpriced items but very stingy. I had 2 rolls and 1 pineapple lassi. The rolls were overpriced at 200rs and the lassi at 700rs. On top of that, I was charged a service fees for very poor customer service. Do not come here.

The food was great, and the service was simply outstanding! The waiters were courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. I don't think I've experienced service like this anywhere else in Sri Lanka, and generally don't expect it... Highly recommend!

The food was so tasty, to be honest, I have not tasted such tasty food in Jaffna, absolutely tasty food. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Prices were very reasonable. It is a pleasure to provide comments to Lavins Restaurant, quality of foods and the staff.

Good place for vegetarian food, parking could be an issue, with arrangements. Food is good. For improvement, language was bit challenging. If they would have known English of Sinhalese better then food choices could have been better

Best vegetarian food in Jaffna. Bit expensive but that reflects in their food quality. They're employing chefs from India so that'll contribute to the cost factor. My go to place in Jaffna whenever I'm visiting. Best place highly recommended.

Happy to see a fully vegetarian hotel at this scale in Jaffna with a wide range of items such as rice & curry, breads, Thomas, Noodles, Tandoori Breads,:Uttappam, Kotthu, Rita's & Salads, Deserts Milk shakes and fresh juices. Prices little higher but considering the level of service, taste and environment, worth to try this place for a unique experience!

Had a great dinner at Lavin's! Delicious food to start the new year - tried the Lavin's Thosai Special and it was delicious, especially with a mango lassi! Service was friendly. When I arrived the restaurant was quiet but but the time I left it was filling up quickly! Would return if I had more time in Jaffna.

A very clean restaurant which offers tasty authentic Indian vegetarian dishes. Meals are a bit expensive compared to other places in the town, but have a range of tasty signature dishes to offer. Staff do speak all three languages fluently (English/Tamil/Sinhala) which is a plus point. Parking can be a bit of an issue as it is situated in the heart of the town. Highly recommend this place for your meal in Jaffna.
