Wonder place for Chinese food. Quality service. Best standards. Ginsoy specializes taste. Maintain temperature at all the time. Hot servings. Service time was perfect. I will say it was wonderful Experience.

Food was scrumptious as always. Service is also good. Sunday is full house. We ordered hot and sour chicken soup and prawns chilli with chicken fried rice for 2 person. Total damage is 2000+ and after hbl mobile payment discount which is 30% so paid bill was 1500+ So all in all it was a good day with family.

Well, Ginsoy is quite popular for its taste but I was bit disappointed because its not authentic Chinese rather its more Desi Chinese. We ordered Chicken chowmien which was very spicy likewise fried rice was not actually fried and dynamite prawns were also spicy. So anyone who likes spicy food then its place for them. Serving size is very good and even small size can be good enough for two to three persons. Ambiance and service both are OK. Prices are on higher side. On weekends there is always waiting of 30 mins atleast.

Chicken Chinese is highly recommended. However the beef dish wasn't well Cooked..

Food quality is good, unique and tasty. Ambiance is good, not so dark and so do bright. They have combined both very intellegently. Options for food are vast and most of them are not so present in c9mpetitive resturants in Karachi. Locatuon at SMCHS is more or less recommended out of few others as they could not maintain all the markers and fall a but behind of typical Gensoy feel. American Chopsuey and chilli chicken gravy with vegetable rice are recommended. Thou the price of American Chopsoey is, almost 500 pkr over valued. Recommended to visit.

Ginsoy offers wide variety of Chiense food nice starter and main course meal options. Ambiance is good, staff is cooperative, card payment accepted here. Overall food is good, dry items are very nice as compared to gravy, fish is good too.

Luxurious experience. Delighted I went there. I ordered shrimp chowmin and they served it with chatni and crackers free. 😋😋😋 Waiters were all responsive and alert. I would give 5 stars to them as well Inside seating was astonishing, 4 persons table, separate 2 persons table for couples and 6 table and if a group of people come they can have fun too. One of the best Chinese Restaurants. Their soup and Chop Suey are the best in town.

Tried a little experiment there yesterday, me and 3 of my friend went there and just ordered soup. Nothing else and then we kept asking them for crackers one after another upto 7 times and tell you what not even once did they reject us the crackers or got rude to us. Kudos to the Ginsoy team! You certainly are the best chinese restaurant.

The best Chinese restraunt in the town "GINSOY" never disappoints me and is always providing their customers with the extreme flavors and touch if Chinese food bringing that origin and taste in the country! The crackers were hot and crispy while the sauces and rice were really scrumptious and delicious. Definitely worth it! Must visit!

The best thing about ginsoy is their great portions... I have been to their smch and North nazimabad branches and trust me their North nazimabad branch is way better than smch but their food used to be good in the biggening but now it's average... I love their complimentary popadoms served with sauce..

One of the best local Chinese taste restaurant. It’s not close to any Chinese food but as for Pakistani market it’s a very nice Chinese restaurant with good and tasty food under very clean and efficient environment. I would recommend to everyone especially families.

Not impressed in general with service. We were a grp of 7. The service was for some reason very slow. Had to call the waiter twice. We had a mango drink (avoid) go for a simple lemonade that’s better. (450pkr each avg) Started with hot and sour white soup, not really sure why it was called hot and sour as neither it was hot nor sour. Seemed like typical chicken corn .. avoid The had masla rice full, garlic rice single, then had chicken Manchurian (full), chicken chilli (full - very small serving as was single) then had dynamite chicken (full) Overall taste wise 2/5 and price wise 2/5 total Bill 11,000pkr I was not very impressed with ginsoy. The quality overall has certainly gone down.

Everything was excellent! The food, the service, and the ambiance. 10/10 experience. Hot and Sour fish was extremely well balanced with a hint of spice. Loved it! Sliced chicken with pineapple was the star, very light and the pineapple was deliciously tangy.

The food is pretty good and the serving size is really nice for the price. Not authentic Chinese by any means but it's a good fusion of flavors.

Ginsoy has been my go to restaurant ever since it has first opened in Karachi. From its piping hot soup, to the tangy dynamite prawn, the crispy beef and even the chow mien everything is spectacular to the say the least. And the best part is that they do-not compromise on their services even during rush hours which makes the dining experience even more smooth and memorable. Kudos to the management.

They don't consider servings, take heavy orders which can't be consumed, and don't guide at all regarding servings of a dish ordered. Besides that Chinese food is awesome here as well as soup. I prefer soup in winters so it is amazing tasty

The quality of the food isn't great anymore. It has started to taste more like Desi cuisine. The portion size is horrible. A family serving is only a tiny bit more than a single serving. They charge far more than the average restaurant. In fact, it is towards the pricey side. Even their customer service is really poor. They are so rude towards their customers even if they are the ones at fault. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone at all!

Recently I visited here with my family and friends. Very nice Chinese restaurant with mixture of Chinese and Pakistani tasty food. Very good atmosphere with comfortable seating arrangements. We ordered Hot & Sour and Chicken Corn soups, Dynamite Prawns as starter, Hot & Spicy Prawns, Chicken Manchurian in main course, Prawns and Chicken fried rice. All dishes and food were very yummy and delicious. Customer service is nice. Further, valet car parking is available.

Love the environment, the ambiance and the sitting... Ordered Schezwan Soup for starters, and it was love ♥️ no doubt... More than enough quantity in the family bowl for 4 to 5 persons... Also ordered the Dragon Prawns, the sweet taste of the sauce with juicy prawns 🤩... Also ordered the Chicken Schezwan Noodles and the Thai Chicken... Noodles were good but didn't get the taste of the Thai Chicken... Either I was eating it for the first time and have no taste for them or they have been cooked wrong... Well altogether it was a nice and a very good experience... PS: The crackers are complimentary and both awesome and cracking 😀

Ginsoy is a famous name in Chinese restaurants in Karachi and has various branches all around. This particular Branch is located in an imported center area of the city. You can find many restaurants at Sindhi Muslim Society and specially this road. Ginsoy has a classy service pattern. Price is expensive though, but a pure family elegant atmosphere justifies it. Their soups and a few Chinese dishes are great in taste.

Went to must do Soup Therapy at Ginsoy, which is my always do visit list for winters, my wifes favourite Hot and Sour, which is unmatchable with any Soup vendors in Karachi i believe, level of spice is too way better and shezwan Soup is mix of Chicken, Beef and Prawn which i like the most

Finally Sardiyan agae hain Karachi mn to socha soup ka start ly lea jaye.. tried Schezwan Soup of Ginsoy - Extreme Chinese It was a combination of Beef, Chicken, mushrooms and veggies. It was a night out with friends. This is maybe the only restaurant which has food closest to actual Chinese food. Serving time was a bit more due to too many customers to serve at once, but it was a pleasant experience overall.

I have been to Ginsoy many times, but not recently after they upgraded their interior. Went there with my family for dinner and asusual got best service and chinese food in town. Though they have made improvement in their interior and tried to raise the sitting capacity IMO that was not enough as the place was congested and there was barely a way to walk even for waiters this is the only reason I am giving a 4 star to Ginsoy. Otherwise their food, waiter service, interior decoration was all 5 star.

This wasn't my first visit but it was definitely my last visit to ginsoy. I don't have words to explain how pathetic the chicken corn soup was. It was watery, the chicken and corn was floating on top. I wish I could post the video of the soup.

Ginsoy is one of those places where you cant go wrong, Ginsoy is a must place to visit for me...it has some really mouthwatering dishes in its menu..my personal fav hot n sour soup, dynamite chicken,cherry chilli chicken n ofcourse chowmein..not only its food bt the ambience is also very nice for family n friends gatherings..last but not the least service is really fast n knw their job well.. cherry chilli chicken and hot n sour soup and favorites. Highly recommended

Absolutely rubbish. I love the place but after 45mins of confirmed wait we needed up 2 and a half hour. It's like begging for food. We could have been better somewhere else. Dried beef was stale and white hot and sour soup became rubber after few mins. Sorry but I won't go and would not recommend.

After lockdown had dinner tasty food

The food was magnificent! Portions were generous. We had schezwan (Idgaf about spelling) soup to start. Flavourful. Then we had their Gaelic wings for apps. My favorite. Then for mains we had Manchurian chicken which www basic but generous, mangolian beef which was generous, fried egg rice which was boring but didn't take away from the experience, and then the mixed chow mein which offset the rice. Had a blast and the service was great. As was the ambience.

My experience was not the best. The restaurant had very bad air conditioning it was hot. I have lived in China and this is not even close to Chinese food but the quantity was very good more than enough to fill an empty stomach I had to take out some food. The behavior of staff was good but the food is served with loads of delay. Overall an average experience would recommend takeout then eat-in here.

Courteous staff 👍🏻. Average food. Outlet was really hot. 👎 Seems that they were saving on electricity bills. Every other ac was off and when asked they would say it is not working. Instead they had a room cooler installed adding to the humidity. Need to work on the air quality inside the outlet seriously. Specially since it is always jam packed and there is no proper exhaust/ventilation.

Always come back especially for the chowmein. The taste is so unique. Ordered two soups one chicken corn and one hot and sour single plate. Both were cold as it was rushh tym fri lunch. But they brought back it hot. And the chowmein was asusual amazing.

A good ambiance, good menu presnetation, food quality is good,food menu is simple and easy to understand, physical environment- artificial lighting and indoor planting is well set. The sericr men/ ladirs are well polished, crokery is fine. All in all good service quality. The value for money paid is utilized.

Always had good experience in their dine-in. But their delivery services are very poor. Ordered hot and sour soup and chicken chow mein but they sent chicken corn soup though I called them back, they said I placed this one. I asked them to send disposible cups for soup but they didn't. I asked for spoons and forks, they didn't send. I was so embarrassed Infront of my guests. Ultimately I had to buy myself spoons and disposible bowls from shop.

Like all places, some items were on and some not quite as tasty. Service on the mark, decent wok sizzling noodles, prawn toast and chicken wongtongs in dumpling effect in a enriched gravy. Egg fried rice and recommended chicken manchurian were not as well prepared

Just an OK neighborhood restaurant serving good Chinese food. The food quality varies with each visit but service has mostly been excellent. When you walk in, you don't get the vibe of an authentic Chinese restaurant with no Chinese music, artifacts and decorations, and matching Chinese crockery. These are all important things one expect at a Chinese restaurant and critical to its ambiance. Instead, it's very noisy and the soup is served in bowls and spoons usually seen at mandi restaurants. You don't enjoy Chinese food unless you eat in Chinese crockery as they have specific bowls and soup spoons. It'd be nice if they replace their current stock with crockery representing Chinese culture. In Pakistan, one can find such cutlery and crockery with Chinese patterns easily anywhere. They lack details as you can find placemats of different colors and patterns on one table. The food quality was definitely superior to our last visit. The only exception was their oily crackers though the chatni was good. Rice was cooked and served fresh and the two gravies we ordered were excellent, too. Both soups, the Thai soup & the white hot and sour soup, had great taste. Our server was attentive and courteous. He took our order, served in due time and later packed all our leftovers with a smile. One thing to bear in mind is that you almost spend the same amount of money as you'd at any other Chinese restaurant at a local fancy hotel so the choice is yours.

Tried Ginsoy for the lunch. Ordered Schezwan soup and hot n sour soup to start with. Hot n sour soup was ok but Schezwan had the strong taste of something weird. You are served crackers with green mint chutni. Main course I ordered Kung Pao chicken and mixed friend rice, that came very late, because it was getting asked the waiter if we can cancel due to getting late and they denied the request. Ambiance is good but the service is slow.

I am a huge fan of their schezwan soup. The taste is amazing and quantity is too good. We specifically went there to enjoy their soup and then ordered prawns as well. Ginsoy never disappoints!

I ordered a full serving of Chinese fried rice and chicken Chilli dry, the rice was adequate but the chicken main did not even seem to be a single serving let alone full size. And both cost me 4000 bucks which not to mention I found v steep esp compared to other Chinese restaurants. Never ordering again.
