Went in for lunch one day got The two-piece chicken fries and a biscuit, they scooped up the fries put them in a Happy meal sack and I asked... what was up with the small fry.? He said because that's all you get the the box. Yeah, if you go to New Albany they give you a whole scoop of fries they fill the box, he says well we don't do that I told him to keep them their food and give me a refund I'm going to New Albany Popeye's on State Street they give you your money's worth. So if you want your money's worth of chicken and fries I strongly recommend going to New Albany on State Street. The food is always hot and fresh.

Great food and the workers are always really nice and helpful. Popeyes has become our "Go To" for fried chicken. It's really hard to beat, Just a delicious product every time! I really appreciate that Popeyes is running coupons in our weekly mailer. We're retired, so those coupons make the difference between us having Popeyes and not having it. Thanks to those coupons, we're able to afford the 10 piece meal deal once a month. Please keep those coupons coming!

I placed an order from a sandwich. Literally waited 30 minutes. At the 20-minute Mark I asked young lady how long it was going to be and she said we're waiting on the chicken and walked away from the front counter. They brought up a group of sandwiches and encouraged them all after the drive-thru. They finally brought my sandwich up when they did that reached into the bin of french fries they have been sitting there since I entered the store. They were over 30 minutes old. The sandwich was good but the fries sucked sandwich was good sandwich was good

went with friend, at their suggestion, late late lunch on a Saturday in March 2023, friend got tenders with fried shrimp, coke & mashed potatoes. She liked it. I had shrimp, coke & coleslaw. cashier on point. my friend got almost as much shrimp as i did. shrimp better than i expected. Cole slaw not that good. tastes like it is getting old. coke machine leaking liquid onto the floor. cleanliness of dining room just okay. tables not wiped down. under $10 for lunch okay although not filling enough for a dinner. update: June 2023 early week night dinner. coupons recently came out in the mail. upon arrival drive thru was wrapped around to the lobby door. grass needs mowing. upon entry into building found a pretty long line inside. the order and pay line went faster than i thought. although multiple orders a head of me, i didn’t have to wait for my dine in order as long as anticipated. chicken sandwich was great. yum yum. only came here because of coupon though. returned July 2023: service efficient, dining room clean, chicken sandwich yum yum great taste and filling. highly recommend. returned September 2023: dine in for the wings, and a side. wings were descent quality. the wings appeared to be fried and then Chinese sweet sauce with some kind of hot sauce poured on top of them.

One star and that’s just cause they was open, I don’t know what the problem is with this location. But service is out of service. No one working the counter taking orders. 1 person as on break eating her lunch, another guy walking around the lobby . 2 guys had on slides. 7 people in line in front of me. Worker acting confused. No leadership . This location sucks. And it’s is the 2 time I’ve left this location drove to State street where the service is excellent.

Make sure you repeat the order multiple times. Ordered the mango lemonade chiller drink with my combo repeated it twice n when got to the window lady claimed I said she only heard regular lemonade. And charged me 20 cents Xtra anyways. Not cool.

The shrimp and fish is amazing. The red beans and rice is hard to beat as well It’s definitely worth check it out if you’re going to be nearby.

Awesome chicken sandwich!! The mashed potatoes alone are worth a visit with the spicy gravy... So good!! I'd say the best chicken sandwich around them other places don't hold a candle to the chicken sandwich here. Fresh Hot and fast.

Service was fast and friendly. I enjoyed my food but it wasn't hot or fresh. My nephew has the bacon chicken sandwich and I had the blackened chicken with fries.

I absolutely love Popeye's Chicken, but had not had it for a while because I had been so disappointed in the portions. I decided to give it another try. I went to Clarksville, Indiana. Not only did the price go up $5, it didn't even resemble chicken. I don't know how you could call it a chicken tender or strip, it's nothing but breading. The thin sliver of chicken inside was so dry it was more like jerkey. I was really disappointed. I hate it that the 10th Street Popeye's closed, but was excited that it was moving closer to me. Come on Popeye's, chicken is not expensive. Where's the meat?

Placed online order through the app. Arrived at designated time by the app. Still had to wait another 20 minutes. The young lady behind the counter continued to take and fill orders after I advised of my online order. There was plenty of food stocked. She wasn't waiting on anything to fulfill my order, she just didn't do it until all the inside orders she had just taken were complete.

I went there and order through the drive-thru. It took them 30 minutes to bring out they brought me the wrong order the first time and then whenever they did bring out the right order it didn't have my dipping sauces or the right amount of chicken nuggets. The food wasn't worth the money

Chicken is good but this location is so slowwww (sometimes 30-40 min wait with no one in line) and constantly mess up orders
