Great place to have a beer or something to eat. Our team had fish, steaks and I had the veal and nobody was disappointed.

Staying at the Ibis close by I was looking for somewhere to eat with no fuss, this was the closest and with the best reviews. I wasn’t disappointed, service was really efficient and friendly. Good drink selection from local beer to good wines by the glass. Food was very good, the steak with fresh chips (yes, not frozen ones!) was the best I’ve had in a while. There’s plenty of other choices on the menu, I’ll just have to come back!

Spacious dining room. Although I only had an Atlantic salad, which was very good, the meals of the other diners looked very good and substantial.

I ordered the tartare preparé and it was delicious. Huge portions and extremely reasonable prices as well. Well worth a look.

I went there after checking its google rank but, result is terrible. Very very bad burger. French fries also terrible, the oil that they fried the potatoes is not fresh. Potatoes were bad smelling. I was very hungry and ate only part of burger. If i know that i will die because of hunger, never go again.

Bon moment passé au Bistrot de Charles ! L'accueil était excellent, chaleureux et convivial. Le cadre est typique et agréable. La cuisine est faite maison et les plats du terroir sont un vrai régal. Je recommande vivement ce bistrot à tous ceux qui cherchent une expérience authentique dans le Nord. Une adresse à ne pas manquer !

Good food, good products, homemade cooking. Staff is friendly.

On est reçu comme des rois, ils sont super sympas accueillants et bienveillants, la nourriture est délicieuse a un rapport qualité prix très honnête, les os à moelle sont des belles consistances et (pour les entrées comme pour les plats et les desserts) on est pas déçu du voyage. Je vais rarement du côté de Valenciennes mais je sais où j'irais dorénavant. Un ++++++

Un lieu qu'on adore fréquenter le midi avec les collègues : toujours bien reçus, un serveur très sympa et à l'écoute et une cuisine qualitative pour des prix très corrects .

Dont put up posts very often this bistro is just down from the ibis took a chance and walked down to it. Asked for a table for one no problem gave me a menu in English. Even though it filled up with customers did not rush me to leave . Food was good and the wine excellent but I think I should have had one of the many beers on offer. Well worth the short walk of you are at the ibis Hotel
