The front desk person wasn't friendly when I arrived for my 2:30 apartment tour - bad start. No one showed up for my tour, so I decided to leave. Later on, the leasing agent gave me a call, and he did not even apologize for not showing up, just asked if I wanted to still tour. Suffice to say, not a great a first impression, and I'll be looking to rent elsewhere.

Just renewed my lease here for the fourth year and I never want to leave. The staff is the absolute best and are so responsive and eager to help out with every ask! The building is always kept so clean and maintenance is up to date throughout. The team was so helpful when I requested my walls be painted and got a team in the next day. Big big shout out to Manny, Valentin, Efren, the leasing, maintenance, and doorman staff!!! Everyone is truly so kind and helpful. Thanks Modera team.

Great apartment so far, moved in August. You can immediately tell the difference when you enter. Clean apartment and units have nice high ceilings with a interior brick back wall since the building used to be a furniture factory. Nice amenities as well with great rooftop. We’ve been at Modera for almost two years now, and Val has been our go to person for any of our needs. He goes above and beyond to accommodate, he’s compassionate and just a really nice guy all around. He has made our experience here a pleasant and easy one. Manny and the entire maintenance team are amazing as well. Always on time and always extremely professional.

Looking to move into Jersey City from NYC. Went in for a tour at The Modera Lofts and it did not disappoint. Building is spectacular, apartments are sophisticated but with a touch of that rough ambience you look for sometimes. The exposed beams and high ceilings give you just that. There is space for entertaining guests as well, which is exactly what we are looking for. The amenities are also a big plus. The leasing staff (Joel) was very informative, helpful and extremely nice. He definitely knows the area very well which helped us greatly since we are out of towners. Definitely considering this as our future home. Joel, you will definitely hear from us soon very soon! Stunning apartment complex with great atmosphere. Incredible staff, especially those in the leasing office who make the experience unforgettable! They were extremely kind and friendly while making the place feel like a new home. First walking in the complex, it smelt like fresh linen and was cleaner than any of the other complexes. All units and amenities shown were in fantastic shape with easy access. Thank you for the best experience!

For the past 3.5 years, my husband and I called Modera Lofts our home. Over the years, we saw the great amenities the building and staff offered. The apartments offer a beautiful industrial look and an easy commute to Manhattan. In addition, the units offer in-unit front loading washer and dryer, with an in-building larger capacity washer and dryer units. The maintenance staff is quick to respond to issues, as is the onsite staff in the leasing office. The onsite gym, to which there are 3, is clean and fully updated. The building also offers private conference rooms as workspaces. While there are many positives to the building, there are a few issues. The package check-in process needs to be addressed. There have been some instances where our packages have not been checked-in or checked-out. Concierge staff is a little inconsistent. We've seen MULTIPLE staffing changes over the years. In addition, the valet staff has gone through similar changes. Overall, I would honestly say we had a greatly positive experience with Modera and would recommend if you're looking for a quite place, and quick commute to Manhattan.
