When
I
signed
the
lease
without
even
seeing
the
place,
(due
to
corona/fear
of
taking
the
subway/work)
I
had
close
to
a
panic
attack
checking
these
reviews
because
I
felt
like
I'd
made
a
huge
mistake,
but
I'm
happy
to
report
that
this
building
is
great.
The
other
review
reporting
"shadiness,"
I
think
he
literally
just
misunderstood
the
lease
agreement,
which
I
did
too,
it's
written
kind
of
weird,
but
ask
questions
and
they're
happy
to
answer
them.
I'd
like
to
offer
my
opinion
to
those
looking
at
this
building
who
are
unable
to
visit
in
person,
but
take
this
review
with
a
grain
of
salt,
and
of
course,
visit
in
person
and
walk
around
the
area
if
you're
able
to.
Apartments:
The
apartments
are
brand
new,
the
in-unit
washer
dryers
are
a
huge
bonus,
and
the
roof-top
/
co-working
area
is
worth
it
in
my
opinion.
When
my
door
was
broken,
maintenance
was
able
to
come
in
and
fix
it
within
a
day.
Studio
was
smaller
in
person
than
over
video
but
I
like
small
spaces
and
didn't
mind.
Wifi:
At
the
time
of
this
writing,
my
floor
is
pretty
empty,
thus
my
wifi
is
solid.
I've
talked
to
other
people
on
floors
that
are
full,
however,
and
their
wifi
is
really
slow.
Some
people
have
opted
to
get
their
own
wifi
from
Comcost.
Others
just
work
on
the
coworking
floor,
which
seems
to
be
getting
busier
by
the
week,
but
it's
still
pretty
damn
empty.
So
when
leasing
says,
"Free
wifi,"
don't
expect
it
to
be
fast.
Even
the
coworking
floor
has
wifi
in
some
places
that's
like
50
Mbps.
It's
workable,
but
video
calls
can
be
kind
of
laggy.
Leasing
warns
you
about
this
in
the
agreement,
so
it's
not
like
they're
scamming
you.
I
think
it's
just
the
Wifi
setup
they
have
in
the
building
with
Comcast
that's
not
very
good.
If
they
really
wanted
to
solve
it,
maybe
MRK
could
install
more
routers?
Area:
It's
decent,
C-town
(the
grocery
store)
is
insanely
close
but
I've
noticed
that
you
have
to
use
the
produce
pretty
soon
after
you
buy
it.
I
haven't
explored
other
produce
options
in
the
area
yet,
but
I'd
like
to.
There
are
sirens
frequently
on
my
side
of
the
building,
I
believe
due
to
the
fact
that
there's
a
police
station
nearby.
But
it's
much
better
than
living
above
a
busy
street,
or
above
a
bar
in
Brooklyn.
I'm
more
of
a
homebody
that
doesn't
walk
around
a
lot,
but
the
times
I
have,
I've
had
some
weird
interactions
out
on
the
street.
Nothing
too
crazy,
but
there
have
been
certain
times
where
I
haven't
felt
safe,
like
I
was
walking
alone
(as
a
woman)
and
this
guy
pulled
over
in
his
van
to
cat
call
me
in
broad
daylight.
I
feel
like
that
was
a
pretty
isolated
incident.
Essentially,
MRK
is
a
really
nice
building
in
an
area
that's
in
the
process
of
being
gentrified
(like
a
lot
of
areas
around
NY).
It
sticks
out
next
to
the
houses
literally
right
next
to
it.
Overall,
I
like
living
here,
and
no,
leasing
is
not
trying
to
scam
you
lol
Stay
safe!
