The story behind the place is endearing. The decor is refreshing. The service is impeccable. The staff is a group of young friendly happy people who add to the welcoming vibe. The service was also fast . We enjoyed every dish . It’s not typical Tex Mex fare …. More saucy and developed recipes but nothing too wild . It’s homey cooking . The chips were a nice alternative to nachos . Had a Peruvian edge . The mock-tails were good but wouldn’t mind some garnish and larger portions . The signature sauces were also tasty . I look forward to coming again.

This restaurant is worth revisiting time and again. The food is consistently delicious, especially the must-try Barbacoa Taco. However, the Shrimp Tostada Bites didn't quite meet expectations due to the shrimp quality. On the brighter side, the Meaty Guac Bites outshone the shrimp. Despite not being a nacho fan, the Nacho Loco won me over with its exceptional taste. The Beef Taco was good, and the newly added Chicken Taco is a welcome menu addition. The Speakeasy Wrap was both full and yummy, and the Burrito Bowl, along with the Barbacoa Taco, will be my regular order - they're bursting with flavors that truly delight the palate. The service comes with a smile, and while the price is a bit high, Taco Tuesday offers combo deals that help save some money. All in all, I highly recommend it if you're in the mood for Mexican goodies.

All the food we ordered was really delicious, and I would actually come back and recommend it. Service was also good, but I would suggest they adjust their prices to a bit lower. I recommend you to try the fries with brisket.

Soft opening so will have to give them another chance in the future. The food took way too long to arrive, but their staff was very apologetic and attentive throughout the meal. So I'm hoping that's something that improves with time. The food was somewhere between average and above average: Brisket fries: 7/10 Ribeye guac bites: 7/10 Speakeasy wrap: 8/10 Brisket tacos: 5/10 The brisket tacos were quite the disappointment, mainly because doing some minor things will make it delicious. I think this is their take on birria tacos, as it was served with a dip/consomme. If they would dip the tortilla in that consomme prior to grilling, and add more cheese (I could only see cheese on the outside, nothing inside the tacos) it will enhance it significantly. The consomme also needs to be reduced as it was very light, needs a stronger flavor. I definitely want to go back to try the brisket burrito and a few other items, but I'll wait a while before I go back. Wish them the best of luck and hope they succeed, we're in desperate need for Mexican options in Jeddah!

3.5 starts ⭐️ Interesting concept entry and exit of the restaurant. Good Mexican good, clearly they are still figuring out regular process, multiple QR menus, food either over spiced or under seasoned. The quality of ingredients are good, service was good but not nothing special, and not authentic enough to be street 🌮 experience. Tried all the tacos, barbacoa was the best.

Visited for the first time today, I would say I’ll probably not come back again because the food took a very very long time. We ordered 3 dishes, the first one came like after 20 mins but it’s ok. After finishing the first one the second one took 25 more mins again, and then we waited for the last one for 15 mins and had to cancel it cause we were very frustrated. The food is honestly great and the people were very nice, but the overall experience was one of the worst.

Service is really good, food was delicious, the menu is small but everything we tried was really good. Hopefully they will include tacos Al pastor at some point

I was very happy to support a local family business, Speakeasy. This restaurant has it’s own spin on what’s on their menu. We started with drinks which were rich and delicious. The quesadillas tasted like a chicken shawarma on a flour tortilla, too spicy for my daughter that she couldn’t enjoy her quesadilla. I liked them, tasty and would recommend this dish. The Beef tacos were not my favourite. Store bought tortillas nothing authentic about that dish. Again, it’s a preference. The brisket fries were surprisingly good. Anything with brisket is a winner. The potato fries needed to be fried up a little more. This menu is a fusion of Arab, Latin NOT Mexican coming together to serve Interesting dishes. Will definitely come back to try other dishes. I’m highly recommending Speakeasy to everyone. I also wanted to give a shout-out to Sara our server. She was amazing, great customer service.

The price is too expensive for the quality of the food. Could have done it better. Hopefully they can fix it and if they do it my rating will change. However, im not saying to decrease or change the price i just want the food quality to be better.

For hospitality, vibes and experience I would give 5/5. The jalapeño poppers and taco salad were very tasty. The tacos were soft not crunchy. I would like if they upgrade there menu for different taste buds.

Its my first time trying legit burrito I enjoyed both dishes. My comment on the food was I wish their burritos were more crispy, other than that it was tasty. The place is cool with nice decorations.

Excellent Mexican cuisine, my favorite in Jeddah. Food is very delicious. Price is a little high. The vibe of the place is very unique. Only problem is the service. The appetizer came out after the main dish, which was very odd. Some of us had to wait for our dishes while others were almost done with their food as well. Terrible service.

Yes, you have to go through a phonebooth to get to the restaurant. It's a cute Mexican restaurant, flavorful, good portion size. We got the beef tacos, the burrito bowl (vegetarian) and the nachos to share. Everything was delicious. Will consider it one we feel like Mexican food again.

Tacos are like a hug in a tortilla. . And I’m in loved with the hidden concept and vibes of this place. So funky, colorful, classy and relaxed. The staff are really nice and friendly. Honestly the Food was fresh and yum, my favorite was the jalapeno cheese ball, beef taco and chicken enchilada. Also, the juices are so refreshing and delicious. . Overall We enjoyed the food n place.

One of the best tacos places in Jtown, very delicious potato chips, i really liked the dressing of the fajita salad (refreshing citrus just on Point!!), friendly and very helpful staff, nice atmosphere and neat dining area.

Mexican cousin with Saudi signature.. It’s a good place to try some dishes. Nice staff and amazing entrance idea. In fact, the taste of food isn’t authentic Mexican but, it’s good food.

Fun interior with different neon signs, straightforward menu with good drinks! Hopefully more vegetarian options will be added in future. Overall we had a great time.

The place is called "SpeakEasy", and speakeasys historically were illegal and hidden establishments....which they have done here, hidden the restaurant behind a false front...which is cool..but is means that its easy to miss. The food is the bomb 💣! Really good. My favourite is the barbocoa taco.....a little pricy...but worth it.

Amazing food and ambiance! Friendly staff especially Karim who kept on checking on us. Such a sweet guy. Will definitely come back!

The following orders are really delicious Chicken quesadillas,, very delicious The nachos plate in the picture is amazing, The taco salad also is so delicious The hard ground beef Taco is not bad but not very delicious I would have rated this restaurant 5 stars but I was disappointed cause I was not able to order barbacoa fries and barbecue Taco because the waiter advised me it will take 1 hour to be ready, The other issue is the timing in serving the orders, some orders served very fast while other came too late Over all experience, I think it’s the best Mexican food in Jeddah, I would be back Recommended

Good flavors, The fajita salad was amazing, Jalapeño poppers one of the best in Jeddah, Quesadillas are mid nothing special, the Barbacoa Tacos are fire 🔥 probably their best item. On the other hand service was so bad today only one waiter doing all things overall 6.8/10

I loved the vibe of the place. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The food is not bad for a soft opening. I do have a few notes. I had the beef tacos. The beef felt lacking in the Spices department. The taco soft shell is great and tastes wonderful. Also. Maybe add more types of vegetables. I also had the Loaded Quesadilla. The chicken was well prepared but the Quesadilla felt a bit dry. Adding tomatoes or bell peppers or both would help with that. Also. Using the juices from both the beef for the tacos and the chicken for the Quesadilla. The staff were nice enough to take our comments nicely and treated us to Churros. The Churros were great. Crunchy on the outside and soft and mushy on the inside. The chocolate dip and the lotus dip are amazing and suits the profile of the churros. All in all. I loved the experience.

10/10! Seriously I loved loved the vibes of this place! The staff are super nice, friendly and calm. The food honestly was perfect, my fav was the shrimp taco and the chicken enchilada sliders! Next time I’m definitely going to try their beef tacos and the Quesadilla I hope they will keep improving even more from now on 🙏🏼
