Restaurant Filipino restaurant

👍👍 The best Filipino food on the east side. So stoked that an authentic Filipino restaurant had popped up so close to home. I had lechon kawali (so crispy and the tomato onion aneld patis sauce is bomb), sisgig (my favorite), adobo, empanada's, ube lumpia and dinuguan (also my favorite; meaty, not too... People often mention good, rice, Filipino, chicken, Pancit, Lechon, adobo, service, time, fried,

The best Filipino food on the east side. So stoked that an authentic Filipino restaurant had popped up so close to home. I had lechon kawali (so crispy and the tomato onion aneld patis sauce is bomb), sisgig (my favorite), adobo, empanada's, ube lumpia and dinuguan (also my favorite; meaty, not too fatty and get just the perfect amount of intestine that its not overpowering but rather just good mild flavor and delicious texture) and it was all really tasty and authentic. Going to come back tomorrow for sure. Portion sizes are huge (local size) and prices are great. The 11.95 mixed plate will guarentee leave you feeling stuffed and happy with 2 big scoops (more like bowl full) of rice and two generous portions of the entre you choose. The inside of the place is really clean and new. Its where Blazin' steaks was. They renovated the inside and it really does look good and welcoming. My new favorite spot for plate lunch on the east side. P.S. The ube lumpia is amazing. The inside is filled with very lightly sweetened ube and a sliver of jackfruit. The outside is crispy, buttery and sweet to make perfect desert or snacl.

Customer Service was poor. The reception (was not pleasant), just a blah stare from the young girl and waited for us to order. No welcome and no Hello. She seemed uninterested in her work and maybe their food. The food was good. The mungo soup was tasty. The Pork in the Sinigang was too bony. I think a nice smile, a hello and what would you like would lead you to believe that the food is worthy of Filipino attitude. This is OK food. It would gain another star just for a good reception and a little bit of attention.

POOR customer service. Short Filipina lady needs lesson in Customer Relations. When they opened a couple of years ago, the excitement was present. Young lady in counter was personable and warm. What happened?? This time around, we were so disappointed. And we came from mainland looking forward. This attitude is very stereotypical of customer service of most Filipinas in food service industry anywhere.

Almost everyone in our household eats Filipino food ... The food here is very tasty. Told my friend where I went and she went to a location closer to her ... she claimed, "Filipina approved!!!" The staff here is always pleasant and answers all my questions!

First time eating here, ordered it via DoorDash, and I was very happy with our food! Ordered Lechon Kawali with fried rice, and a Lechon Kawali/Garlic Shrimp mix with pancit. The Lechon is delicious! Crunchy, fatty, sinful goodness. And not too salty which Lechon can sometimes be. The fried rice was simple garlic fried rice, but very tasty! Pancit was good as well. The garlic shrimp on the other hand was kinda strange for me: it was very sweet, almost had a teriyaki kind of flavor. Unlike any garlic shrimp I've had before. I wasn't personally a big fan of it, but to each their own. Portions were also fantastic! It satisfied even my huge appetite. Coming from a Filipino family, I'm happy to have finally found a place for my Filipino food fix. Shrimp aside, the food was fantastic and I definitely plan to eat here again!

I went in craving lumpia around 3pm and the lady at the register said they were completely out. How can you be sold out of lumpia at 3 and not make more when you’re open until 7? I settled for the pancit and it was flavorful but the pork was mostly fat which is why this review gets 3 stars. The lady at the register seemed rude and she wasn’t wearing her mask properly (it was under her chin) and kept touching her face while handling food. Maybe if they had lumpia I’d give it another chance but I really wasn’t impressed with the customer service.

Went for lunch on 30 NOV. Very quiet, only one table occupied and no line. I specifically went to scratch my Pancit Bihon fix. Ended up ordering the small plate that consisted of Chicken Adobo and Pancit Bihon instead of rice. What an odd contrast those selections were. The Pancit by itself was nice. Noodles may have been cooked a little too soft, but the flavors saved it. I added a little condiment container of the garlic vinegar sauce that made me think of some old school Pancit Bihon. I think the Pancit would have benefitted from just a touch more sauteed cabbage and veg. The chicken adobo on the other hand was a disappointment. This was easily the second toughest pieces of chicken I have had. The portion sizes were fine with 4 large chunck of chopped chicken thigh as was the overall flavor of the adobo. To be fair, I made and served myself the toughest piece of chicken by purchasing a whole "retired egg layer" from H Mart on the mainland and tried to made a slow baked chicken. These toughness of these chopped chicken thighs reminded me of a retired egg layer. The toughness of the chicken could be a one off fluke or could be the result of short cuts in preparation. I'd hate to think that the feral chickens around Kaneohe come here to retire. Regardless, the flavors were good so will probably be back again at some point for the Pancit and maybe better luck with another item. Cashier/service was adequate, did not notice any signs of a dirty restaurant and not there long enough to see if they followed any COVID protocols for guests,

First time in Hawaii and craving for Pampanga Cuisine and was deceived by the name. The table were dirty and bugs flying around. Would not come back here again.

Went here for the first time today and ordered three dish with rice for friends and myself but when i got home, i found out they only gave me one rice so we had to share a tiny portion of rice. Other than that food was ok.

Got an order of pinacbet, lechong and chicken Afritada. Taste was pretty good but too salty for my taste and especially for my wife who couldn't eat it. She was bummed saying the veggies taste great but the salt was overwhelming. Generous sevings of rice. Service was ok. Young boy at the register did his job ok but answers to my questions about the chicken dish was pretty lacking. Overall, not bad. If you're ok with salty you would probably give it a 4 star rating.

I love filipino food for sure. I always get the same thing Sarisari. There's isn't not bad could use a bit more flavor. There was one downtown called Dalisay and everything was ono! They've closed. Pampanga has a big menu but I haven't tried much. I also had the adobo fried rice which was good.

I've passed by so many times and never noticed this place until I saw it on Google. I got the Pork Bicol Express and it was delicious! The portion of pork is half the plate lunch LoL I got 1 scoop fried rice and 1 scoop pancit. The pork was just how I remembered it in the Philippines-a lot of fat 🤣 so I enjoyed it with guilt 😬 Pancit was so good too.

Best chicken adobo on the Island. The Lechon is out of this world.

If you want authentic, great tasting Ilokano food in Oahu, this is the definite place. Full stop. My family ate here from Lanikai Beach and we were surprised that they had goat Pinapaitan, Dinakdakan, Pinakbet and more. The dishes were cooked respectfully and not just thrown together like fast food. It was just like eating back home. The owner Al came out to greet us and told us they were planning to expand their kitchen. We can’t wait to come back here. Btw their Ube Lumpia was so yummy!
