A lovely wadi, a route that you enter right from the city. The route is short (2 km) and all downhill, and the view is very beautiful. Towards the end there is one relatively small pool and further on one slightly larger and finally there is another water reservoir. I got there on Sunday and there were hardly any people on the route, except for the pools at the end. The only drawback in my opinion is the fact that at the end of the route you reach a road in the middle of nowhere, so there are 3 options: - Leave a car at the end of the track. - By the last pool (when you look to the right of it) there are stairs that lead you to a residential neighborhood, where there is a bus stop nearby. - The last and least smart option in my opinion, is to climb the entire route back to the starting point. It is highly recommended!!

We went there for a Saturday afternoon walk, started up in Haifa from the staircase and walked for about 90 minutes(with small kids) until we got to the water โ€œpoolโ€ area that was magical, after half an hour it got a bit too crowded so we left, you must have a car/taxi waiting at the end otherwise you would need to climb alllllllll the way back ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

#ื ื—ืœ_ืฉื™ื— ๐Ÿชต #Ein_Moshitatim ๐Ÿ’ฆ #ืขื™ืŸ_ืฉื™ืง (what is not, there is full) ๐ŸŒพ #Bostan_Chiat ๐ŸŒด Between the houses and the busy roads of the city of Haifa, the beautiful channel of Nahal Shih winds its way. The short water route leaves the busy city life behind, and offers them a peaceful and calm alternative. ๐ŸŒณ The route descends between shady trees to a clear stone spring, and passes by a cave and a monastery where monks secluded themselves about 900 years ago. From there it continues to a beautiful round pool hidden among the bushes, as its name is "Ein Shih", and ends in an abandoned Arab tree orchard built in the 1930s, with a deep and beautiful concrete pool (not always full). ๐Ÿ’ง Starting point: Lotus Street in the city of Haifa. End point: King Shlomo Street in Haifa, near the southern gate of Sde Yehoshua Cemetery. Route type: one-way. Nature of the route: suitable for large and small groups, families and couples. Level of difficulty: easy-medium. ๐Ÿฉด๐Ÿฅพ Preferred season: suitable for all seasons. The length of the route: about 2 kilometers. Duration of the trip: about an hour, not including the time in the springs. The nature of the walk: the route goes through a narrow path with a moderate downward trend, and it is mostly shaded at the top. Payment and opening hours: free of charge and unlimited hours. Load: Not normally loaded. ๐Ÿชต Tip: You can park below and go up from the houses on a wide and slightly bumpy dirt path, about 10 minutes walking on a moderate incline, or even by car but not recommended, until before Ein Shih ๐Ÿ’ฆ and go back down... #Enjoy... ๐Ÿค

The route itself is charming and fun. The dip in the spring was excellent As for the ending - and it is significant. We chose the stairs option and it turned out to be a mistake. The stairs don't go all the way. We have reached a dead end. I walked back down to the cemetery and my son continued on a different road to get the car... Our recommendation - finish near the cemetery and take a taxi/bus back to the car.

Nahal Siach is a route in the valley between the two districts of Carmelia and Kababir in Haifa, starting at Lotus Street 12, descending by steps. Although this same point can be made the end if you go down lower, in the Kababir area to the right of the mosque (if you stand facing it) down first along the path, and then to the left to 310 steps down. On the route you will come across the ruins of the first monastery of the Carmelite monks from the 13th century, a natural spring where the same monks took water and built a pool, and a closed cave in the mountain. Wadi Siah translates to "valley of travelers" in Arabic, so get traveling!

beautiful place. fun to travel Not a very high level. There is a historical site (but it is surrounded by a fence) There are also doors in a rock that the Carmelites made. There are several artificial springs and there is a clean natural one. I highly recommend this place.

Total track. You can enter from Lotos Street 18 in Haifa and walk along a black path or from the source of the stream as marked on the map. Ein Shottetim - a spring near the monastery from the 13th century. Ein Shikh - several pools connected by water canals.

A beautiful and well-accessible stream, wonderful springs and very close to places that are easy to get to anywhere.
