Between
the
houses
and
the
busy
roads
of
the
city
of
Haifa,
the
beautiful
channel
of
Nahal
Shih
winds
its
way.
The
short
water
route
leaves
the
busy
city
life
behind,
and
offers
them
a
peaceful
and
calm
alternative.
๐ณ
The
route
descends
between
shady
trees
to
a
clear
stone
spring,
and
passes
by
a
cave
and
a
monastery
where
monks
secluded
themselves
about
900
years
ago.
From
there
it
continues
to
a
beautiful
round
pool
hidden
among
the
bushes,
as
its
name
is
"Ein
Shih",
and
ends
in
an
abandoned
Arab
tree
orchard
built
in
the
1930s,
with
a
deep
and
beautiful
concrete
pool
(not
always
full).
