This is one of the seven remaining gates of the city. It is these gates that have undergone the most reconstruction of all those that have survived. The gate was erected in the 17th century, then re-erected in the 19th century in the brick Gothic style. Then only pedestrians could pass through them. During construction, the gate was literally cut into the shaft, thereby lowering it below ground level. During the war, the gate became a control point for military units. Afterwards there is a warehouse, and later a bomb shelter for the police school, which was located next door. The gate then became a sewer for discharging wastewater. Above the Ausfal Gate you can clearly see the Orthodox chapel of St. George, which was erected in 1993 and dedicated to the Soviet soldiers who fell during the assault on Königsberg. Since 2007, there have been talks about restoring the gate and even placing exhibitions of the historical and art museum. For now, the picture remains the same. The views here are interesting, but the Ausfal Gate clearly requires restoration work. From here you have an excellent view of the quiet pond.

In Victory Park there is the Ausfal Gate - this is a fortification structure. They were built as pedestrian access gates according to the design of the architect Ludwig von Aster. And there is an Orthodox chapel there. When we got to them, at first we didn’t even understand that this was the Ausfal Gate - the most inconspicuous. It is better to take photos from the other side of the park.

The Ausphallian Gate, which has survived to this day, was built in Königsberg according to the design of the architect Ludwig von Aster in 1866 in the brick Gothic style on the site of the 1626 gate. The gate originally crashed into the shaft and was below ground level. In the 20th century, the only gate passage was blocked. In 1910, the Ausfal Gate was sold by the military department to the city.

At first glance, it is a chapel, but experts - Residents of Kamval played hide and seek there and saw a lot of interesting things.

This park and stele, as well as the eternal flame, are dedicated to the memory of the 1,200 guardsmen who fell during the capture of Koenigsberg in 1945 in the Great Patriotic War. On May 9, city residents and guests who came to Kaliningrad after the parade came to lay flowers at the eternal flame. And in the park itself they talked with veterans, sang front-line songs, and laid flowers on the defenders of the Fatherland. Very touching and sincere atmosphere. The grandchildren met and thanked the veterans for the Victory. And in the evening, fireworks thundered in honor of the 76th anniversary of the Victory over the enemy.
