Re-live the 70s-80s! A great place to have a cold beer and challenge your friends to see if you can get a free pinball game. The machines are in excellent working condition - much better than the old game rooms I haunted. There is a nice outdoor patio which would be perfect in cooler weather. A very good selection of beers to choose from. We had a group of 20 gather and it was perfect. Good ventilation, doesn’t smell like smoke or any of the other negatives of a typical bar/game room.

Didn't even stay an hour because of the service. Took over 15 minutes just to ORDER 2 beers, not get them. Had no idea who to order drinks from, everyone seemed to be a customer. The person behind the bar was struggling to make what appeared to be margaritas. It has potential but reminded my group of "Bar Rescue."

If you love pinball, this is the place to play! If you don't play pinball, it's still a great place to have a few drinks and chill.

Great place to play some of the best pins out there! All the machines were level and felt tight. No loud music so you can actually hear what's going on. Staff was great! If you have played pinball at your average arcade play hear and you will immediately know the difference. When I was there they had pins from Stern, Williams, and Jersey Jack.

Stopped here to play the pins while in town. $1.00 a game on most machines. Had a great time as I thought the line-up was pretty good. Had several whiskey highball(s) over the course of 2 hours and really enjoyed my time here.

I hadn't been to one of Kansas City's arcade bars that have been popping up recently so I decided to check out 403. The bartender was very friendly. They do not sell pitchers but they have cheap PBR draws. Bring your quarters! Several different pinball games.

403 club is a Kansas City legend! Known as the pinball heart of the city, 403 club is a fun, clean, chill place to have a drink and play some of the best and latest pinball machines out there. All the games are meticulously maintained and always work perfectly. This place is a true gem!

Besides the random dude shouting across the bar calling me boring and winking at my date, it was great!! The bartender was awesome and very personable. I forget her name but she had blonde hair, around 10pm on August 22nd. It's refreshing to have a bartender make you feel right at home. The 15 or so pinball machines are awesome and really give the bar an identity. They have one of the top 3 all time pinball games in my opinion, Attack From Mars! Oh, and the 2 Dolla Natty Light Strawberry Lemonades ain't half bad eitha!!!

One of my most favorite places. Friendly owner, great staff, huge back patio with a television and of course loads of pinball and craft beer.

Really cool bar. Has a great vibe. Local neighborhood bar that has about 8 pinball machines. They even have a pinball league on Wednesday nights. It's in a pretty decent area. Not sketchy. Kinda out of the way so not super crowded. They make an excellent Margarita and are not expensive. Really glad we found this place. We'll definitely be coming here more often.

The best place in the city to play pinball. A nice, relatively quiet, smaller, dimly lit neighborhood bar where everyone is nice and respectful. ALL of their pinball machines are cared for and in perfect working order. They have an ATM and a coin machine and all the games were $1 per play or $2 for 3 plays. Pinball people are good people

This is such a fun place. The owner and staff are friendly, and it’s the perfect place to go listen to music, play some games, and have some fun. The patio is nice, the locals are kind & I’ve never not had a great time here. 10/10 RECOMMEND!! πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—

One of the best bars in the city! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I love their craft beer selection and regular events. Gotta love pinball, too!!

Selective Covid 19 practices. Locals get to order without a mask stand around without a mask but (people not local) get policed on the mask. Yeah, I get that I’m not the typical crowd in here but really.

When I go to KC I usually go a couple days early just to got to the 403. Artie and his crew are always cool to hang with. About 10 nice pinball games in good working order. They have tournaments periodically and are welcoming to newcomers. Highly recommended.

The staff is so friendly here. I was a first timer and by the time I left I felt like a regular. There are some craft beers and several taps from Boulevard. If you like pinball, this is the spot. It was fairly quick and easy to get change and grab a game. The outdoor area is large if you want to get some fresh air, too. If you'd like, you can bring outside food in.

Great variety of beers on tap, and great variety of pinball games. And they actually take quarters! You don't have to exchange for tokens at the bar, possibly leaving you stuck with a bunch of tokens that work no where else. Very affordable drinks, and Guinness is one of those on tap!

Best place in Kansas city with fun 'Bar' type atmosphere to play pinball, pool, darts, or watch Chiefs lose football games. Has a nice back lounge to enjoy reasonably priced drinks or chill. A++++++

A great place to play pinball. Also, in an area where there are a lot of bars that require you to be a β€˜member’, this is a friendly place you don’t have to worry about ringing a doorbell to get into. Lots of friendly people here no matter what night.

403 is the bar you take your actual friends to hang. I don't even play pinball, but you can't beat this spot in strawberry hill. Patio is big and heated. Susanna is a damn angel as is every other bartender. Cheap hot dogs and plenty of booze to get you through even the toughest of nights.

Such a fun place! Coolest pin ball machines, cheap to play. Drinks are very reasonable. Not over crowded or main stream, super chill place you would drive right by if you weren't looking for it, which is one of the best parts about it.

I can tell you after my first time here Susanna and the regulars that come here will make you feel welcome right away

Got there early for Happy Hour. They need a sign outside announcing where it is. The bar tender was friendly. Happy hour drink prices were very reasonable. Like the pinball games.
