Absolutely amazing! Some of the best queso we’ve ever had. We ate the cowboy junkie burrito, Korean pork taco and shrimp tacos which were all amazing. Told my husband the shrimp tacos were bussin! Loved the fresh ingredients and the flavors were all on point. Excellent service as well. Highly recommend.

When you get to KC, do yourself a favor and get to KC Tacos. The Charred Pineapple margarita is subtly sweet and smoky. the Korean Pork and Chorizo Avocado tacos were so tasty! Mix and match tacos so you can try a variety. And the staff was amazing, super friendly, and very accommodating. Thanks for everything!

I came here for my birthday lunch in KC after touring Boulevard. The tacos were phenomenal! As a vegetarian, they had several vegetarian and vegan options, and not just basic boring options, vegan and vegetarian tacos that were the best tacos I’ve ever had, my favorite being the Cauliflower taco (the taco on the right in the picture). The beans and rice (in picture) were the best beans and rice I’ve ever had, hands down. The margaritas were delicious! The service was fantastic as they were friendly and helpful, and the wait was minimal. The only downside was the chips and salsa was good, but nothing to write home about, I’ve had much better. Also the prices, VERY EXPENSIVE!When I asked if I could have my taco spicy, they said they could put some sliced peppers on the side. They gave the 5 small slices of jalapeño to my friends order and charged me for the peppers without informing me before hand. Besides those negatives, everything else was fantastic!

There is no reason these tacos are this good! Went for the first time with my husband for lunch on a Friday and it was pretty busy. We decided to sit at the bar vs waiting for a table . We had margaritas which were pretty good. Chips and salsa was pretty good, the green salsa tasted better on tacos than dipped with chips. I had 1 mojo chicken taco and 1 brisket taco. Hubs had the same plus a shrimp taco. They do not skimp on these tacos! They are a great size and you get a lot of meat. I also had the rice and beans which were very good and flavorful. I cannot wait to go back to try more tacos!

Delicious food and drinks, plenty of seating, lots of quirky items to look at as well as cute murals, clean facilities, and a fun atmosphere! I will continue to go back as long as all these things stay the same if not get better! A fun place to take people who love tacos!!

Paid parking is available next to the restaurant. Dinning area is large and includes two bars and outside patio. Make sure to read the ingredients of each dish to make sure you are not surprised when you bite into your meal.

The KC taco company has a variety of apps, tacos, burritos and side dishes. I went with my son and his friend for the first time and the staff was helpful and very nice. The food was really good but the taco that stood out the most was the mushroom taco! Wed is an all day happy hour too! Decent parking, outdoor dining available and a really nice atmosphere.

Really excellent service by Liz and delicious unique tacos! Wonderful atmosphere. We want to come back and bring the whole company. Local Must Do Experience! Again and again and again! Also, really appreciated the careful use of straws. I value sea turtles so hate to see servers toss them carelessly on the table. Liz was astute and asked if we needed them for water, which we happily declined. We did use them for $5 margaritas though. #WorthIt

Margaritas are really good. Started with the queso dip and chips. The queso was very creamy and rich, but required more chips than provided (which also could have had more seasoning). The tacos were pretty good, but could be cheaper. The taco Tuesday special made it the trip worth it's price, but the typical menu is a bit pricy.

Tacos and drinks and downtown scenery oh my! But seriously this place has a really good thing going for them. An wonderful location right near the River Market serving up a solid menu for the taco and drink enthusiast alike. I've had a chance to come here more than once and have almost eaten all of the tacos they offer and each one is just as good as the last if not better then the last. Highly recommend the Spicy Tuna and Thai Chili Shrimp tacos as well as the side Street Corn and Smoked Egg rolls are absolutely ridiculous. It's always nice to see a location that is full any day or night of the week so make yourself hungry or thirsty and come on in

My wife and I were doing a little exploring in the river market area today and found this place. We both love tacos and decided to give it a try. We were greeted instantly as we walked into the door. The host found us a spot and a waitress came over about a minute later. We had a appetizer of queso dip and chips. It was served in a small iron skillet and the taste was tasteful. Nice and warm and can taste all the seasons. The chips were very fresh and nice and thick. We both ordered 2 tacos. I ordered 2 plain tacos and she ordered 1 plain and 1 chicken taco. Food came out just a little bit after we finished our appetizer (right on time) I was expecting the tacos to be in a taco shell, but they were in a burrito wrapping folded into a shell. It was difficult but had a very good taste. The shell wasn’t soft like a soft taco but harden some how and I prefer that. I finished 1 taco and started to get full 1/2 way into my second. My wife just finished 1 and take home box for the other. Our waitress was nice and took really good care of us. We will be back. I forgot to add the we both ordered street corn. I’ve only had street corn twice, once here and another place and this was by far tastier. The price was about $31 Appetizer 4 tacos 2 street corn Water

We are already planning our next visit! They were so helpful figuring out food allergy stuff and have so many Gluten free and vegan options. Oh my goodness the tacos!!!! Soooo good and they are stuffed! I am not sure how people are suppose to eat them without making a very yummy mess! But it is so worth it! Our kids 2 and 9 months are the chicken taco and loved it! WARNING a tall (probably man) hung the changing table. I am 5foot2 and when folded down it was laying flat at my arm pits bahahaha it works for sure but my babies diaper maybe crazy lol. All jokes aside it was great! My husband got the lobster tacos which I forgot to take a picture of which he loved but those are cold tacos so if you are not a cold salad person for dinner they may not be for you but if you are a yummy food person then you will love them!

Found this place watching DDD a few months back so figured I should try it when I came to town. It was well worth the drive and had some of the best food I have had in a long time. Fresh, hot and tasty. Highly recommend if you are in town.

First time being there. Everything tastes great! The cilantro was much more flavorful than what I've grown used to, but that's not a bad thing.

Awesome taco place!! The food was on another level and the service was amazing (shout out to Liz). The vegan options were so tasty I highly recommend the cauliflower tacos, but it’s not always on the menu so be sure to ask. Great outdoor seating and it’s close to the streetcar for easy public transit access. We will be back!

Finding vegetarian tacos can be super hard, but KC Taco has a couple choices - even a vegan option (I am not strictly vegan). At our first visit, the host took the time to explain some customer favorites and our server was happy to go over ingredients of each dish when we explained our dietary needs. 😍 My wife and I have been twice now! Food and service have been amazing both times! Their margaritas are fantastic and the queso and street corn are to die for 😋 We will definitely be frequenting as our new favorite taco place. 😎

I dined here with Instagram’s start_small_things who loves and supports small businesses just like this one. We absolutely loved this place. It’s a very nice restaurant and we had great service. They have a great selection of options on their menu. There are many unique options and you can’t go wrong with any choice. We can’t wait to eat here again! Try the skillet nachos.

Went on taco Tuesday and ordered the lobster tacos and was expecting bigger tacos but what lacked in the size was made up in flavor. They were so good. I squeezed lemon on top of them and gave them an extra fresh flavor. I ordered beans n rice as a side and they were good but could use a little more flavor to them. Also the margaritas were very good! I'd go back

I came here with a group of colleagues and friends and enjoyed their tacos 🌮. Their happy hour margaritas and sangrias are STRONG and tasty! Good options for vegetarians as well. Try out their new cauliflower tacos, it was delicious. I had it with a side of Thai chili sauce and 1 portobello taco.

Best tacos I’ve had outside of California. Ordered Korean pulled pork and Mexican brisket plus chips and queso, because when have 2 tacos ever been enough? These 2 were - I left stuffed and extremely satisfied. Service was next level too, thanks guys.

Really enjoyed this cute, urban taco spot. Staff was great, bar tender and waiter was amazing. Food and drinks were soooo good. Not to bad price wise either. Definitely a must try
