This bar is a rare gem! The burgers are large with generous portions of sides. I was amazed at how fast and friendly the customer service was! Very reasonable prices,I definitely will return!!

So much hate on these reviews, so I’m going to throw 1 out there. I Fly into KC late… only place serving food after 11 pm around my mom’s neighborhood. I really didn’t want fast food or bar food. Took a shot on the chicken fried chicken … way better than expected.

This place is decent. I've had good and bad times here, but for some reason I keep coming back. The best part about this bar hands down is the best server here named Madison. She pretty much holds the place together and is the employee of the month every month. Mac and Kyle are close runner ups though. Anyone is welcome and the vibe is always friendly, honestly one of my all time favs. Not bad. 5/5

We dine here frequently. The burgers are very reasonably priced and the waffle fries are perfect. I recommend dine in and not carry out. Every carry out order we've placed has been a huge disappointed. The quality is much higher when you dine in. The buffalo chicken wrap is one of my absolute favorite meals anywhere. The burgers are tasty but don't expect it to be cooked in any way expect well done, no matter what you ask for!

Service for drinks and food was soooooo slow! :( I was really impressed by our waitress who remembered all our drink and food requests, I just wished that the food and drinks came sooner! I think our waitress did great but I think she was handling the entire place and bar! Chicken tenders were good but the fries were not! Ketchup bottles were empty. :( Please like my review if you find it useful!

Have been here multiple times and have had great experiences with food and service, however the Sunday night female bartender has consistently been rude, unwelcoming, and very unprofessional to me and other groups. As someone in the industry and loves to support local I worry she will continue to drive away business I will no longer be coming in on Sundays with the multiple bad experiences with her.

Food is always good but why is this an acceptable amount of caesar dressing to you all? Like look at the amount of space in that to go container. I order a large caesar salad and was given small dressing. Please be more generous with the dressing hell just fill up the container. Pls and thanks 2nd pic after pouring the dressing - come on guys do better, just fill up the to go container. This is ridiculous!

Good people... the workers and the patrons. But I wish the drinks were a little bit stiffer. That day, made friends with a few people wouldn't have mind to buy them a drink but my drink didn't get me in the mood to do so.

The first time I stopped in here I thought the waiter was rude but I thought maybe just an off night and moved along. I went there last week and had the same experience with just to go order. I got home ate my order, within a couple hours I was violently sick. I got salmonella from here I will never be going back I was sick for a full 7 days.

Ordered from Ugly Joe's this evening. I must say this was once a local "Go To" spot for us. Clayton answered the call with a less than helpful tone and demeanor focused on helping us with our order. Rude to say the least. My husband had to ask him what the total was and the ETA for when the food would be ready for pickup after he so eagerly wanted our credit card information for payment. Fast forward, we go to pick up the food and get home and the order is incorrect. My husband ordered the Hawkeye Chicken Sandwich and received a burger. My wrap was incorrect as well. When I called and asked to speak to management I was placed on hold and then told "You just missed them" (by Clayton) - REALLY!!! My husband then called and spoke to Destiny who was even more less than sincere than Clayton in working to resolve the issue and told us we'd have to speak to someone the next day. Guess what!?!?! We were loyal customers who cared about this business and supported them through numerous carry out orders but they've shown us our business is no longer appreciated - so we won't be returning. I know my one review may not mean much to this business, but too many of these and you'll feel the impact. I implore you to make the appropriate changes to those who still believe in you and your business. McDonald's and other businesses like them never thought they wouldn't be on top either. Think about it!!!!!

Worst visit yet to date! Did you even read the order? 3 out of 5 of my products ordered were wrong. Good thing there are no food allergies for things asked to be left off, yet still received. No sour cream or salsa with quesadilla, no guacamole on the burger as ordered, black lettuce edges (should not be serving that) Not to mention, it took 3 different people to come ask me what I needed to finally get my order. Not impressed at all.

Our favorite little bar and grill. The food is always great, the people nice and the atmosphere warm and fun. Great variety of burgers and grilled chicken, the teriyaki with grilled pineapple is one of the best around. Love the seasoned waffle fries especially with their white queso, so good. Game days can get a little wild and crazy, but hey, they should. Can't ask for more.

Spirited place to join other sports fans to cheer on your favorite team, mine is the Chiefs, of course! Also the draft beer is nice and cold.

Service was rude and never checked on us. My daughter and I came in was told to seat ourself, took 10 min before anyone even acknowledged us, then server came and said “what do you want” so we ordered our food and drink right then, waited another 15 min with no food no drink, went and asked someone else for our drinks, she brought the food out 60 seconds after that and it was cold like it had been finished for a good 10 min. Been Sitting here for another 15-20 min after finishing our meal waiting for her to even check on us. Worst service I have ever had and food wasn’t even hot or very good!

Let my Girl friend and her friend in after 11 and when I get up there they ask for IDs We tell them we Just want to eat and they say after 11 you have to be 21. (Im 20) and my girlfriend and her friend are 19 and 20 at the time. Doesn’t make sense because they let them in but now they say that’s the rules. They definitely didn’t ID them…

Nice place quick service. More of a bar setting I would say but good environment. For lunch I had the stake sandwich is was a bit chewy, not enough mayo because it was slightly dry. I did enjoy is and do want to try something else on the menu. Next time I am out this way I will definitely come back.

If you aren't sitting at the bar, the service is a joke. Our server was sitting down eating while we were waiting for the rest of our food. It came out after we were finished, and they still charged us for it. I use to watch games here, sit at the bar and it was great. Probably done doing that too. I know it's hard to find service staff right now. But this server seemed like they had no desire to be there.

Nice beer selection and great appetizers. Lots of TVs to enjoy sporting events. Fast and friendly service too!

Long haired 16 year old bartender is horrible. Takes 25 minutes to get a tan to go makes drinks with no alcohol. Cheats people out of there money. Is the definition of a modern day crook. Love this place been there many times but this guy needs fired. What a complete disappointment of society his parents should be disappointed to have created such a disappointment.

We got food to-go, my wife got chicken fried chicken and it was amazing. I got Mac n-cheese with fried chicken and it was pretty flavorless. The chicken was fine but the pasta just didn't have enough flavor at all. I would go back again.

“Long haired bartender” was great. He was friendly, attentive, super busy but handled all guests and orders expertly. Great atmosphere, pretzel appy was exceptional! “Long haired bartender”’s parents would be proud. (We don’t know him personally, just felt previous reviewer was out of line…)

Great staff lots of big TVs to watch all the sports you want. The big portions food was ok for bar food and the drinks were strong. And the kitchen stays open late. The pool tables are a bit expensive at $10 per hour. Definitely a good time
