This is one of the best Rooftop views of our beautiful city,Kansas City! Lovely venue, and unfortunately some of the worst service we have ever had. We waited almost fifteen minutes for anyone to come over.Several waitresses kept telling us "you are not our table" it was very hot and we could have used a water. We had a very large group of Friends at several tables and nothing !! When our server finally came, he had an attitude and he brought our drinks that were half full and not worth the $13.00. The shrimp ceviche I ordered was delicious as were the other "snacks". The sad part was that the Music was incredible but because the service was so bad it somewhat ruined the evening. Our Server didn't come back so most of our group had to stand in a huge line at the bar and then had to run two tabs because they were separate. Another friend ordered a beer and the server dropped his can of beer and just picked it up and gave it to him.Very disappointing....The Percheron is lovely but the servers spend more time hanging out at the bar than serving their Customers. I review so many venues all over the United States and this one was by far the worst service we have ever received .....

Each time I visit Percheron, I have a different experience, and they're all great. Being an outdoor venue with a beautiful view of Kansas City, lends itself to an enjoyable time. Most weekdays, tables are readily available for a cocktail after work. The after sunset vibe is wonderful with the city lights and hung string lights. The food, cocktails, and waiters have also been great. Their Za'atar Paloma is one of my favorites, even though all the cocktails I've had are delicious. The food is wonderful, as well. Most recently, I tried the Papas Bravas, which were quite different from traditional Papas Bravas but equally as good! Note: Percheron is completely outdoors. Keep this in mind as it relates to your weather preferences!

Great Place, little pricey, but the staff make up for it with outstanding service!! The drinks were 2nd to none and the was far above standard. Great location, Great views, a must stop for the Bar hopper in the KC area. You will not regret a visit to this roof-top oasis with friends...

The location is wonderful! And the drinks were great! We had the hummus and pita, which was delicious! The staff were busy, but still very accommodating. We do wish there had been some heat lamps because it is still spring and chilly for evenings outside and the music was too loud for you to have an easy conversation. That’s why I reduced the score to 4.

Found my new favorite drink in KC but the service was absolutely horrible. If you come just be prepared to wait 15-20 min for your first drink. Luckily the rooftop views give you something to look at while you wait

our server Brooklyn was the best! the experience was amazing and we had a great view of the Kansas City skyline! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a night out; the drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is great. My personal favorite is the coconut iced coffee!

I thought I had been to every rooftop bar in Kansas City…I can’t believe I missed this place! The view of the city is unbelievable. Snag a table early in the evening to have a perfect view of the city lights. We really enjoyed the Marinated Olive appetizer and the tomato & focaccia appetizer. Our favorite drink on the cocktail menu was The Party Pressure but the Spanish Summer Spritz was a close second.

I want to love this place. Views are gorgeous of course. tables are ALWAYS dirty. Cleanliness is lacking severely for a place like this. servers strolling around are completely unaware to when new parties come in since it’s a seat yourself kind of place. Food was good when I was able to finally flag somebody down to get an order in.

Atmosphere at this roof top bar is amazing, but the service is horrendous. Server gave us a drink menu and I had to find him 20 minutes later for him to tell me he was coming right back. We waited another 10 minutes and no server. We left disappointed and had drinks at another place.

Pretty venue with a captivating KC skyline view for drinks and dining. Intimate (and loud, ha!) space for live music as part of the summer concert series, it got packed with people but the staff really hustled to serve everyone at the table and the bar. Tried a couple cocktails, not any food, but still easy to spend a lot of money here! Good for a special hoorah.

So after all of the negative reviews I’m so glad I went out and tried this amazing little niche. Our server, Hannah, was really good. She was busy but very attentive and said upfront we might have to let her know what we had to break our bill up. There were 12 in our party, so I understand needing some help! The food was really good. I’m Not a huge fan of chicharrones, but the spices and sauce for dipping were spot on. The hummus was really creamy and pita was soft and chewy. Drinks were excellent. I had an Old Fashioned and a Paloma. We had a reservation on a weeknight and they seated us right away. Parking is tough, but you have to look around and you’ll find a spot. I highly recommend this place. It won’t disappoint.

Best views in the city - hands down. It's a more upscale place than not, but you would fit in with anything from classy casual to formal attire. Drinks are pricey but very well prepared. There is a standing area separate from seated tables. I don't think they allow reservations so arrive early if you want a table but there are quite a few available. Best views are in standing area though. It's awesome to have a quality rooftop bar in KC. Percheron fill that void.

Came here in August 2022. We were visiting from out of town (DC and SD) and were looking for a rooftop to relax in. We found this gem with the most perfect view of the city. Cannot wait for this place to open up again.

Taking off one star due to the best tables being reserved even though it was pretty empty at 4pm on a Saturday. Also, the skyline-facing countertops were standing only which was strange. They should’ve had high-top seats. Still an amazing view, drinks, and overall vibe. I’d love to stay at the hotel and would definitely go back, but I’d want to figure out how to reserve a table!

The view was amazing, the food was good, service was great! Very fun time! I will say the night time skyline view is gorgeous. Drinks were well mixed and atmosphere was very fun!

Great views at night. Update: I went back this past weekend (6-2-2021) and the crowd was completely different than that last October. I did not have a problem with capacity or the level of service. What I did have an issue with was the crowd being a little trashy. There was a fair bit of people falling over while seated (one knocked over an unused bench on our table while walking) and being a little reckless when posing for photos. It turned from a place for friends to have a few drinks to a college bar. Not everyone was like that though. A lot were friendly but I kind of wished those being reckless would have been thrown out. Staff were accomodating- showed up 30 minutes early and they let us in. Our waitress was very hilarious and she made sure the environment was fun and friendly. Drinks were great and the views were great as always.

Danielle was absolutely amazing in getting us a table upstairs that would accommodate our party. As quick as she possibly could be given the beautiful afternoon and tons of people already up on the rooftop. Drinks were decent. I'd stick with the coffee cocktail the entire evening next time. Tried the Cool Runnings and the Ya Ya. Good flavor, just not my drink of choice for a long evening of drinking. Definitely the coffee cocktail for extended drinking. Evening didn't disappoint. DJ was great. Really put out a great vibe. Overall, Percheron Rooftop Bar doesn't disappoint with the view, the drinks, the vibe, and the customer service. It was great having a table and a waiter to help us get drinks when lines were long, but the trips back around to our table took a bit. Probably because it was super packed. Great time for sure!

This might be my new favorite bar to visit while in KC. The views are great. The service is outstanding. The space is large. Most importantly, the cocktails are thoughtful. My friends and family enjoyed an evening here recently and had a good time catching up over drinks and views. The service was not lacking and consistent. Our standout drinks were the Skyline Punch and Cool Hand Luca. When you're in KC, make sure to stop by for a relaxing moment.

Can’t beat the view for a Sunday night drink at dusk. Creative drinks, lots of energy here. 4 stars instead of 5 because we didn’t have a single warm interaction with bartenders or servers. Everyone was very busy and didn’t take time to make a connection. Go there, get a drink, talk to your friends, enjoy the view.

First time here was just way to "all over the map" First, host stand was very friendly and very fast. Great table, great view yadda yada good so far. Had to track down a server. The table next to me said "let us know when you find one" This isnt good at these drink prices. Multiple servers taking orders after that isnt good either. Ironically, and "so KC" an older couple asked if I liked the lobby bar or roof?" I said roof, and a bit later a FIGHT broke out! lol EVERYONE say together, " THAT'S SO KC!" So they closed early. One more try. Just one. ☝️

The atmosphere and view was awesome but my friend and I didn't get any drinks for over an hour. We had to find a pitcher of water and were put at a table where we had to stand even though we were ordering food. I went to the bar and was told we couldn't order from the bar (even though we had been out on the rooftop for over an hour!) The bar gave in and made our drinks. It took another hour for the waiter to get our food order in. The food was ok and not really worth the wait. We were initially told that we couldn't sit down because the tables were reserved for people who had rooms at the Crossroads hotel (there were tons of empty tables and I'm pregnant and was starting to need to sit down). They ended up switching our waiter and sent her home. The new one gave us a table immediately and was a lot better for us. I just expected a better experience here at such an awesome place!
