Eahh… I found this spot to be overpriced for lunch. The food was good not great. The cocktails were very good. Our server was really nice and helpful regarding our choices. Roasted feta was really nice while it was hot ,so eat it fast! Once it cooled it became very hard. The cucumber salad was alright. I mean it’s a $12 cucumber I expected something more special. Cucumbers are 2 for $3 at the grocery so the price was exorbitant. Not thinking I will be back but I can’t say never🤷🏽‍♀️

To start, we're not hard to please and eat out a lot but do feel that Extra Virgin missed the mark on some things. The food is mostly great with a few dishes that were just okay. The eggs were fantastic! The shrimp was good, but the rest of the dish (also good) almost didn't complement the shrimp. The brussel sprouts were rich but good. Be careful with the white bean salad. The olives in it are very small (some of the smallest olives I've ever seen). They are also almost the same color as the beans. My husband bit into the olive so hard (first bite of food) that he may have cracked his tooth. We mentioned this right away, and the waitress said they are supposed to tell customers that the olives aren't pitted when putting the plate down. No one mentioned it, and this has clearly happened before with this dish, yet they didn't even offer any compensation (not even a free $2.50 beer or something) and didn't seem surprised. This isn't a normal olive that's obvious, or we would've known to make sure there wasn't a pit in it. Servers are also supposed to inform a customer if there's an extra charge for something. The waitress asked if my son wanted another soda. He said yes because he thought it was free refills. We got charged for another soda. They also bring a small portion of pita out with the mezzo dip, not a proportionate amount to the dips. We asked if there was any way we could get a little more bread. No mention of an extra charge. They charged us $3. We may have still gotten those things, but it wasn't obvious we would be charged, and it made us feel as if we were being nickeled and dimed. On the plus side, we came during happy hour, and some dishes were half price, some beers were $2.50, and wine was $2 off. We did get dessert. Unforeseen, churros were fried too long and almost burnt. Same with the crostada (fruit pie)...was baked a bit long. We would probably try the restaurant again on another day, but we've been to other restaurants that hit the mark just several blocks away.

Lovely atmosphere, great service and good food! The mock-tail was really tasty and steamed mussels were fresh! The highlight was roasted bronzino. Braised pork belly was bland and Lebanese hummus was ordinary. Overall it was a nice experience but the price is pretty high for portion.

The culinary highlight of my KC weekend. The menu is a bit different than listed on Maps. I had the hummus with the pita bread and then couldn’t decide between the pork belly and the grilled octopus so I had them both. The octopus was a standout, with crispy potatoes, yum! Finished with the churros and an amazing cappuccino. Effie my server was amazing and had a great smile but the whole staff pitched in like a great team. That surprised me, don’t see it too often. Both inside and outside dining are comfortable and the decor is inviting and warm. ❤️

So enjoyed our dinner here! Tapas that each dish was better and better! East Coast oysters, West Coast oysters, Shrimp ceviche, Sauteed mushrooms, grilled bread and ricotta, lamb kebab, Roasted Branzino! Then finished with Churros & Spiced Chocolate Sauce, chef's kiss!

First time staying in the Arts District and stumbled into the restaurant and it was wonderful. Enjoyed the Fattoush salad, grilled bone marrow and a great slice of coconut cake. Was traveling alone and sat at the bar and enjoyed the great service

We have been regulars here. It had been few months that we had not been there and the menu had quite a bit of change such as our favorite fried rice and hanger steak were no longer available but all the food are really really good (except for tomato basil soup which is mot really my taste). The menu now seems truly mediterranean than before. We enjoyed all of our food. I love the grilled octopus (I hope this one never goes away), was in such a hurry to devour it that we forgot to click it 😉

4.5 if Google would allow it. One of the best service experiences we have had since COVID. Just super attention to detail, kind servers and teamwork! Love it. The drinks were fantastic and during happy hour was even cost effective. The food was for the most part amazing. We love the wood fired aspect. We will for sure be back!

Conveniently located downtown. Great place to dine. Lots of small plate options to select from. Chickpeas fries are one of my favorites and are amazing. It's highly recommended and you must try it if you visit. They have a few vegetarian options as well. Good selection of drinks.

Wow this is absolutely the place to go for happy hour. Specializes in cool cocktails and tapas. This is worth coming out of your way for if you can make their happy hour. The good: happy hour specials are great prices for probably some of the best tapas around. The special cocktails are also amazingly good. Service is nice and fast. Orders were accurate. The meh: selection is very centric on tapas. Prices outside of happy hour are very normal (high) for the area. The bad: none!

Everything ordered came out beautifully plated and absolutely tasty. The cucumber salad was really interesting with the tiny bit of cumin in it. Pork belly was mouthwatering. Ricotta toast was salty - but I really liked that! Chickpea fries were unexpectedly good - creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. I will definitely go here again next time I’m in town.

Perfect place for date night! I’m vegan, my husband is not, and there were plenty of things on the menu for each of us. We shared olives and hummus. He got steamed mussels. I got the show-stopping head of cauliflower. It looked magnificent and was the most delicious cauliflower I’ve ever had. Heads up, it takes a while to cook. I highly recommend this place!

We got put in a cute room all to ourself which was cool but if we needed something we felt like we had to go find our server who was so kind! We felt the cucumber salad was VERY peppery along with the octopus. We really enjoyed the kabobs and falafels. We had a wine the was not what we expected at all and did not like it. When we told our server he was very kind and took it off our bill. Overall it was a fun experience…. And we love Mediterranean food but I am not sure this one is our cup of tea. But it was fun to try and the servers were all so kind :)

Sounds like I should've tried it before the new menu...darn it. Staff and Service was not bad, however, I felt a little rushed through my meal. The food is fresh and healthy, I love the chick pea fries. The drinks are delicious and nicely crafted. The ambience was warm. I'll definitely give it another go around.

It smells amazing when you walk in and the food has so much flavor. I've never had any type of Mediterranean foods. The desserts were delicious! Our waitress was very sweet and did great recommending certain menu items that she thought we'd like. We really enjoyed the vibes of this place! 👍👍

Service was very fast! Our server was VERY friendly , the chairs were wobbly, table sticky, and the overall vibe wasn’t great but the food was phenomenal. Your best value is obviously going to be during happy hour, but I’d pay a million dollars for the shrimp skewer idc. If you’re considering the eggs , they’re literally just hard boiled eggs cut in half and covered with stuff. Not bad, just not what I was expecting

A super cute location with Mediterranean inspired tapas/ small plates. Was great to share with some friends. Not pictured, but we also bought the chicken mouse, falafel, potatoes and mezzo spread. Everything was super delicious!! Get there before 6pm for discounted plates and drinks during happy hour!!!! I would definitely recommend a reservation because it fills fast.
