Exactly what home made means, locals serving the restaurant, I had one of my best “koy kahvalti” in Zanjafil restaurant, served with smile and all the service provided from the heart.

This is a tiny mom and pop shop with a limited menu (yet there were a few vegetarian options). Everything is delicious and the proprietors cook right in the front with you. Lamb and potato stew really hit the spot on a cold night. Diners were a mix of locals and tourists. Cash only.

The menu is bilingual, with indications of vegetarian plates, the waitress is extremely helpful and the food is deliciously homemade. Friendly owners and personnel.

I was there today. The food was good enough. The Lady who was running the place was ok too, but her daughter who was serving us... oh my! She was so unpleasant and grumpy! She ruined the whole thing, what a pity!

Had such a delicious dinner here when we visited Safranbolu. Our favorite dishes were the safranli pilav and the yörük çorbasi.
