Pakistan Air Force Museum, really a very nice place to enjoy your weekend with family. Lush green ground, huge space, very well managed, cleanliness is excellent. Different fighter jets/airplanes /helicopters have been displayed with information boards, some are real, some are models. Also different warfare, missiles, vehicles, weapon systems, and radar are also displayed. Museum also has a canteen from where you can get cold or hot drinks, mineral water and snacks are available. A fun land for the children with swings is also available. If you really want to enjoy this place then coming early is the best option. Overall its really good experience!

How to explain a beauty that is beyond imagination. Having shortage of words but at least i have not seen such a beautiful ❤️, neat and clean place of refreshment and amusement that is so well mannered and is being maintained with great devotion and care by Pakistan Air Force management. At first sight while seeing Helicopters, Fighter Jets etc and you feel that you are a soldier fighting First/Second World War, War of 1965 and that of 1971...... While visiting the Museum, your feelings of Love and affection for the Country boost at a great level and you think nothing else but only for your beloved Country. Long Live Pakistan Long Live Pakistan ....... پاکستان میری جان پاکستان پائندہ باد

Amusement park and winter land is also here. No problem for parking, huge parking is available. 3-4 places for prayer. Well managed. Avoid to visit on Sundays due to massive crowd.

A great place to visit with family. Even though, the place was originally started to educate about Pakistan Air Force but later turned to a fun place with more rides installed in the park. The entry ticket is affordable and the parking was convenient but the food and safety standards need to improve. The souvenir/gift shop also lacked variety.

I have a very good experience at this museum. This museum is very large and if you plan to come here. So you require a lot of time to visit this vast and pretty museum of Pakistan Air Force, having plane of great varieties. That's an awesome place and full of informative places. I suggest you to visit this place if you will come Karachi. This museum also have a gift shop, where you can buy beautiful gifts, including wrist watches, badges, mugs, sceneries, toys and many good looking things. This museum also have a mosque, so you can offer your prayers there, that opens all time during opening of museum. Here, you can also find a tuck shop, so you can take water bottles and jucies and chips. If you want to join Pakistan Air Force in upcoming days so you need to necessarily have a look at that museum. Try to come at that museum at that time when sun heat is lower because most of the area of that museum is in open air. So wear a cap or cover your head to avoid heat stroke in strong Summer.

Pakistan Air Force Museum from the famous place of Karachi There is a lot of fury here on common days and holidays, people come from far and wide to see the PAF Museum. The museum was established in 1990 in two unused hangars in a remote part of the Base. The museum was expanded significantly from its humble beginnings in the period 1999–2004. Additions include children playing areas, rides, and eateries.

Best place contains lot of facilities. There is museum which includes antique memories. Clean and Hygienic food with very reasonable price. Pizza was surprisingly yummy there. Ice cream 🍨🍨 was also yummy there. The main important is that the staff and security personnel are very decent, cooperative and we'll trained person. It situated at Main Shahara E Faisal. Keep in mind that only families are allowed, means if you have any plan to visit just like bachelor, so please cancel your plan because no entry is allowed without family.

PAF museum is a beautiful, clean and well maintained area in Karachi. One of my favorites points that you can visit with family Specially childrens. There are different portions having fighting jets, helicopter, aeroplanes, and different memories of Pakistan Air force. Canteen, public washrooms and parking area are available at entrance. The museum is fully crowded at weekend. You can visit after buying tickets. Museum provides coordination between civilian and Air force.

A majority of the aircraft, weapons and radar are displayed outside in the park but the main museum features all major fighter aircraft that have been used by the Pakistan Air Force. The museum also houses the Vickers VC.1 Viking aircraft used by Mohammed Ali Jinnah, founder of Pakistan, and a Folland Gnat of the Indian Air Force, that landed in Pasrur town, Pakistan in the Indo-Pakistani war of 1965. Also on display are the scale models of some World War I, World War II and some more modern aircraft and photo galleries of almost all the squadrons of Pakistan Air Force.

The Pakistan Air Force Museum in Karachi offers an enthralling experience that takes visitors on a captivating journey through the rich history of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF). As an aviation enthusiast, I was eagerly looking forward to exploring this museum, and I must say, it did not disappoint. Upon entering the museum, I was immediately struck by the impressive collection of aircraft displayed both indoors and outdoors. The vast outdoor section showcases a diverse range of aircraft, including fighter jets, bombers, transport planes, and helicopters. It was incredible to see iconic aircraft like the F-86 Sabre, Mirage III, and F-16 Fighting Falcon up close, each accompanied by informative plaques that provided detailed insights into their history and significance. Moving indoors, the museum continued to impress with its well-curated exhibits and displays. The galleries are thoughtfully organized, taking visitors on a chronological journey through the evolution of the PAF. From the early days of the Royal Indian Air Force to the modern era of advanced aviation technology, the museum provides a comprehensive overview of the PAF's achievements and contributions. One of the highlights of the museum is the diorama displays, which recreate historical moments and air battles with remarkable attention to detail. These dioramas effectively transport visitors back in time, offering a glimpse into the bravery and valor exhibited by the PAF personnel throughout the years. The museum also showcases a wide array of artifacts, including uniforms, medals, weapons, and photographs, providing a deeper understanding of the PAF's operations and the people behind its success. The interactive exhibits, flight simulators, and virtual reality experiences further enhance the visitor's engagement and make the museum a delight for both adults and children. The staff at the Pakistan Air Force Museum deserve commendation for their knowledge and passion. They are readily available to answer questions and provide additional information, making the visit more enriching. The facilities, including restrooms and seating areas, are well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable experience for visitors. However, it is worth noting that some areas of the museum could benefit from additional signage or more detailed descriptions, as there were a few instances where I wished for more context or background information. Nonetheless, this did not significantly detract from the overall experience. In conclusion, the Pakistan Air Force Museum in Karachi is a must-visit destination for aviation enthusiasts and history buffs alike. With its extensive collection of aircraft, informative exhibits, and immersive displays, it offers a remarkable insight into the glorious past and present of the Pakistan Air Force. Whether you have a deep interest in aviation or simply appreciate the courage and dedication of military personnel, this museum is sure to leave a lasting impression.

I think it is a very well maintained low cost entertainment for the family. So do not expect elites to be be walking around in the museum but rather lower middle and middle class which is fine by me. Being an aircraft enthusiast I was not too thrilled about all the F-6s in the museum. They could have made replicas of F-16s, JF-17s and K-8s. I also think that the statue of Abhinandan was in bad taste. We need to be chivalrous about such matters. I also wanted to see Mi-24 there as well. Anyway, with all the rides and light entertainment for kids, I think it is a good place to be to pass a few hours as it is light on the pocket too.

Any enjoyable outdoor outing especially if you are an aviation buff. Lots of cool displays and if you're lucky you'll get a few military type aircraft flying over to the nearby base. There's also amusement rides and a restaurant on property. The Souvenir Shop just to the left as you enter has some nice and reasonably priced items including toys for kids. Definitely worth the 60PKR entrance fee.

Excellent place . One advise for all rides tickets policy . They should keep e card for rides or they should keep all rides on one same price. This is very difficult to buy separate tickets for each rides with difference in price and waste of time to buy tickets. Beside This the park should keep kids car for rent for those kids who become tired and use this service . I recommend this place for all visitor in Karachi nice place and budget friendly place . Beautiful place .*****.

The Pakistan Air Force Museum is an incredible place for people who love aviation and history. It's located in Karachi and offers an immersive experience that takes you on a fascinating adventure through Pakistan's aviation heritage. As soon as you enter the museum, you're greeted by a breathtaking display of old aircraft that have been lovingly restored. You get to see how aviation technology has evolved over time, and you also learn about the brave Pakistani pilots who flew these amazing machines. There's plenty of information provided alongside each aircraft, so you can really dig deep into their stories and significance. One of the most exciting parts of the museum is the exhibits that bring to life the challenges faced by the Pakistan Air Force throughout its history. They have these cool dioramas and multimedia presentations that show you the major conflicts and operations the air force has been a part of. It's a great way to understand the important role they've played in national security. The staff at the museum are super friendly and knowledgeable. They're always there to answer any questions you have and share interesting stories and facts about the exhibits. You can tell that they're really passionate about aviation and preserving history. What's also great about the museum is that they have interactive activities for everyone. You can try out flight simulators and even experience virtual reality flights, which is a lot of fun and gives you a taste of what it's like to be a fighter pilot. The Pakistan Air Force Museum is not just a tribute to the bravery and skills of Pakistani pilots, but it also showcases the technological advancements that have shaped the air force. With its well-curated collection, informative exhibits, and enthusiastic staff, it offers an unforgettable journey that will leave you with a deep appreciation for the incredible legacy of the Pakistan Air Force. It's definitely a must-visit, whether you're an aviation enthusiast or simply curious about Pakistan's aviation history.

(PAF) Pakistan Air Force is the Aviation branch of the Pakistan armed forces and is responsible for defending Pakistani air-space from intrusions. It also provides air support for ground troops. Every year on the 7th of September, the day after the annual celebration of the Pakistan Defense Day. The day is celebrated as the Air Force day in Pakistan. That day air shows and other programs mark the PAF's role in defending the nation.

You will love their features collection of aircraft, from vintage planes to modern fighter jets, all meticulously displayed in an outdoor setting. It's a fantastic opportunity to get up close to these aircraft and learn about their historical significance. Must say their environment is so clean and foods are so good also playland is too good to enjoy any kind of ride you will fine for children to adults. Moreover, the museum provides valuable information on the evolution of the PAF and its contributions to the country's defense. Visitors can explore various exhibits, including aircraft engines, uniforms, medals, and informative displays on Pakistan's air force history. Their have well-maintained grounds also house a children's park and a souvenir shop. The PAF Museum in Karachi is an excellent place to learn about Pakistan's aviation history, making it a must-visit for aviation enthusiasts and anyone interested in the country's military heritage. However, it's advisable to check the opening hours and any special events before planning your visit.

Superb place to know and learn about our history also to get the knowledge about the fleets that we have in our forces. It's an amazing family park to hangout with your family specially with kids, moreover the environment is quite secure as it only allows family entrance. Recently they have launched a Wonderland who have got the attentions of karachi people because of Snow, you can enjoy the real fun of Snow here in Karachi in this Wonderland, but the entry price is too high as it can only be affordable by a few segments, who can easily afford to go Northern Areas of Pakistan, so I think the price should be affordable so that maximum people can avail this fun.

Unfortunately one of rare parks and museum in karachi but it is the best place if you want to enjoy the greenery and also look into the Pakistan Air Force history. Also there are fun rides for children. Altogether a great place to visit for family.

The place is good for families, neat and clean, well managed and historical. The visiting crowd is normally school kids and their families. Food is not good nor hygienic therefore you should bring something by yourself. Always rushed with people, prefero going on normal weekdays instead of weekends or vacations.

Great place to visit if you are interested in the history of PAF aircraft. There is a new section showing the evolution of the Operation Swift Retort, regarding the capture of the Indian Pilot from the shot down IAF aircraft in Feb 2019. Children have a great time looking at the real life aircraft. There are foodstalls as well as the usual jumping castle and rides for the little ones. It could use more aircraft though, and would be much more interesting if access is extended to the interior of the aircraft as well...

Pakistan Air Force Museum Faisal (Urdu: پاک فضائیہ متحف‎) is an Air Force museum and park situated near Karsaz Flyover on Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. A statue of Indian Airforce's Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman along with the parts of the fuselage and tail of his Mig-21 aircraft are also on display in a gallery named Operation Swift Retort. Well, I assume no one will disagree on Karachi city being the most populous and confined one. As time passes, it's being hard to even breath sufficiently. In such a situation, Places like PAF museum are blessing of God. This is the place with utmost discipline, that is, no hanky panky is allowed inside it's premises and you are good to go with your family. It's spacious where you may breath openly and deeply and can feel the purity of air you inhale. Besides, it's good to have some quality time, get refreshed and be energised.

PAF Museum charges each adult for Rs.60/- and you are only permitted entry if you are with FAMILY. Otherwise, if you are traveling from other cities across Pakistan and you plan to visit PAF museum, your entry to the premises would be DENIED. Currently as of October 2020, the museum is closed as there is renovation being done. However, air crafts situated in the lawns are available to view and you can take photographs.

It could be managed nicely if they want... aeroplanes displayed needed new things in it, there was no safety issues for covid_19 majority weren't wearing mask... they have added other rides which has made the concept of the museum confusing... So it has changed alot in so many years

A place well managed and kept, full of fun for Kids and Family. Only thing I did not liked is a sign at Parking lot saying "Park at your own Risk" how on earth a place managed by Army can display such sign. And for what purpose Rs.50/- are being charged if they can't secure our vehicles. That was the only thing due to which I'm reducing rating down by 1. Otherwise this place deserves 5 star.

This Place is A Historical Heritage of Pakistan. Going there is an Experience of Lifetime. BUT As you get Closer and Closer to the Aircrafts its getting Disappointing. They need to Maintain and hire some Professional People to do it. The paint they use on some of the Aircrafts Looks Hideous and Some of those Looks worse than a Cheap toy.

Its a good wide and lush green park. Giving a chance to see our Airforce equipment from nearest distance. Planes which we only see the skies are touchable here. Our children like the show very much. Other facilities are also good for visiting families like food, washrooms, prayer places for men and women. Amusement rides toy shops and tuck shops. Over all a good place for time out with family.

The convention center was very good. It was very spacious with the capacity to hold 500 to 700 people easily but not during covid obviously due to precautionary measures. But yeah the place was great. The ambiance was great and the meal was finger lickin good.😘

Never experience such a bad time. Hundred of mosquitoes until the end of marriage ceremony. Even i asked the worker there but he didnt show up again. Next time you must bring your own mosquitoes killer racket to avoid malaria or dingue. And there is nothing to say good about it rather very complicated drive in and out. Thanks.

PAF musuem is quite from city center.Worth visiting specially I wanted to see Abihinandan's trophy. It quite large and get ready to walk alot. The airplane collection is nice but would have been amazing if you could actually go inside the aircrafts. The main building where some of the iconice planes were displayed is nice.Although lots of improvements still required in making it at par with international musuems. Ticket price Rs60 for adults and Rs30 for childrens.Only families and couple allowed. Overall experience 6/10

A great place to spend a day with your family, you can also get to know alot about the planes and their history and contributions of pak air force by reading the information written on slabs beside the planes. Plus you can also buy souvenirs for memories from the museum gift shop😃 I recommend visiting it in the morning or noon timings. I reached there around 2pm, it was peacful and not many people were there. It starts getting crowded around 4pm.

  • 5/5 Moeed K. 1 year ago on Google
This is a very neat and clean place that you should visit with your family. They have a small play area for children, so it's a great place for both young and old people. There is also food available. And a fantastic aircraft museum.

  • 5/5 Syed Ali A. 1 year ago on Google
This place gets better every time we visit. With the addition of two new helicopters, and few updates in the hall of Fame museum, it gets more informative and fun, plus the management is trying really hard to make this place more fun and enjoyable for every age group. Five stars all the way!

  • 3/5 Sunshine 10 months ago on Google
Its a great spot for a relaxing day out with your family (if you simply want to sit in an open air) although, Seemed a bit congested this time. The Rides are budget friendly and maintained decently. I'd like to point that the Maintenance and cleaning of Planes need to be improved.

  • 4/5 Fahha_kook 1 year ago on Google
The museum has a large collection of aircraft and weapons, including fighter planes, bombers, and helicopters, which are displayed both indoors and outdoors. Presently, this place is offering a number of interesting rides for everyone including adults. Highly recommended for people interesting in military history or some cool rides.

After a long time, it was decided to visit this beloved place. Nothing was changed except the behaviour of the guy at Ice Cream shop. He was very rude to everyone. Anyhow, The place was lovely as usual. Even it was Sunday, but a very small number of visitors was there. Rides were almost empty. Huts and benches were all vacant. It was also a school trip going on there. Many students with school uniform were roaming all around. Water cooler is no more a water cooler. Normal temperature water was found in there. Fees, it's raised. Rs. 100/adult, 50/child, 50/defence personnel. And no fees for under 3yrs.

  • 3/5 Muhammad H. 9 months ago on Google
The place is pretty cool however the amusement park had remained closed down for several days as well as the museum hall remained closed. under such circumstances I don't see the reason of keeping 100 pkr per person ticket it 2 out 3 areas of the museum are under maintenance why charge so high.

  • 5/5 Mudassir N. 9 months ago on Google
