Dined at FLOC - for the love of coffee in Zamzama, Karachi. Loved the chic wooden decor/ambience. The service was quite welcoming. They do great coffee and delicious French toast. We also ordered chicken sliders which where amazing too. Highly recommend this place if you’re a caffeine lover.

Unfortunately, what it delivers is nowhere close to acceptable coffee. In their defense, I walked into this place after having tried and thrown away the coffee from two places. So my not liking the coffee at FLOC places it at par with other, higher-rated places close-by. I asked the barista for a flat white and specifically asked them if they know what a flat white - to which they replied in the affirmative. I explained that I want a flat how it is supposed to be made - pulling two ristretto shots from the espresso machine and then pouring microfoamed velvet-steamed milk into it. The barista said yes, of course, and then proceeded to serve me a truly horrible drink with bad coffee and underprepared milk. I took a sip, thanked the barista, paid, and poured the coffee away. Verdict: Skip if you are particular or finicky about your coffee. Otherwise, please chug along. I’ve never had better customer service, the manager was so helpful and friendly. She customized our dishes as per our preferences and the food was to die for especially the spaghetti, it had melted Parmesan all over it (the best I’ve ever had) ♥️ Matkiccino is a Pakistani version of cappuccino , served in a green cute matki 🥰 with a taste notes of Gurr and Almonds. Had a lovely family lunch at Floc and made more special thanks to Usama. Everything we ordered was equally delicious and loved by everyone. We ordered Chicken Strips, Blueberry Banana Smoothie, Chicken Club & Combo Club Sandwich, Affogato, Trio of Fried Chicken Tacos. I also ended up ordering the Vanilla Iced Latte twice because it was that good! Highly recommended for a cozy coffee & great food!

Went there for breakfast. Firstly the restaurant is a tiny spot situated in the middle of alley (gali). You cannot park your car there so you need to park in some other passage way. Coming to the ambience, since it's a small restaurant. The place gets really crowded easily. The table which we were first seated on was wobbling. Later shifted on to a proper table. Now to the main review ! - The food. Ordered the steak omelette and Buffalo Mac and cheese. Along with a devil's hot chocolate and a Iced mocha. The steak and cheese omelette was a 8/10 . The meat was chewy. Whereas the omelette was good and cheesy. The buffalo Mac and cheese. 7/10Well there was no amount of buffalo sauce in it. It tasted like Mac and cheese with K&N's chicken tenders pops. The hot chocolate was really good 10/10 whereas the mocha was bad 1/10. It was served in a glass jar which is supposedly an old jam jar. The total bill came up to 4045 with tax. Overall experience 6/10 I would come again maybe to try their mains but definitely not the breakfast.

One of my favourite café's in Karachi. This cafe wins the best coffee in my book. The coffee is so pure and rich tasting that surprisingly you don't even need sugar. Its a completely organic cafe, so I don't feel as bad about ordering things from the menu as I usually do. Really, not only is the ambiance amazing, but their coffee, frappe's and food menu is phenomenal as well. Many times my friends and I camped out in this cafe for entire days just living in a dream world of coffee

Went a second time. I generally don't leave food uneaten even if it is abysmal. But this was beyond bad. The Mac and Cheese had one flavour: salty. The breakfast sandwich was insipid beyond imagination. The only saving grace was the Hot chocolate. Please don't go here for food.

It's a small cosy place for meeting your friends over breakfast, lunch or dinner or may be just for a cup of coffee.. I have been there once but liked the ambiance and food... I won't say outstanding but was above average experience... Worth a visit though.

Amazing experience! I just took one picture of the Tex Mex Bowl but the others items we ordered were perfect as well. The items were Buffalo Mac & Cheese, Butterscotch Frappe & Iced Caramel Latte.

Got a malted dark hot chocolate and club sandwich. The hot chocolate was superb, not too sweet and pretty rich. Games like Jenga and books were also there. The place is a bit small but it's good for small groups.

Food was not bad but could have been better. Coffee was love. We order mozzarella sticks, Grilled chicken with mashed potatoes, Salad bowl, club sandwich and coffee of course with other beverages.

Karachi has lots of cafes but few appease true coffee connoisseurs. In a city where it's warm most of the year, coffee isn't the beverage of choice for very many people. Coffee addicts are exhausted by people questioning 'Itni garmi mai coffee kyun?' (Why do you drink coffee in this heat?)" Chai is a hot beverage too but you don't see us calling you out on that! The newest entrant in Karachi's coffee market is , which boasts the availability of nitro coffee on its menu. It sounds like the perfect solution to this coffee conundrum. Nitro coffee is served cold, so you can even get your caffeine kick in a few quick cool sips. Plus, the cafe boasts many unique blends of hot and cold coffee on the menu in a comfortable setting, so we wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a niche spot.

Loved the breakfast. The sunday timings (08:00 am) are perfect for early risers. Amazing Omelettes, bread basket and the coffee is to die for. The greens veggie platter was freshly cut with an amazing dressing. Friendly and trained staff. Brilliant interior. A must go. They just need to get the washroom sorted out hygienically speaking.

Omelets are nice but not good enough for the price you're paying. They use mozzarella in their eggs which is just a stringy and tasteless cheese. Cheddar would be better. The mousse was nice. Vanilla iced latte was amazing

Horrible place for the amount of hoo ha about the place . They don’t have non-dairy alternatives. I eventually got “coconut milk” which was curdled. The keto chocolate pudding had rotten cream as a layer which when we pointed out , the owner came to us and told us the entire stock has gone off and thanked us for pointing it out 🙄. The ambience was extremely loud and the tart was too sweet to the point of making us sick . We eventually took regular milk, returned the pudding and took two bites of the tart. The seating cushions outside the shop are filthy and there was water on the seating area. There was no effort at making amends from the staff or the owner at any point . Extremely disappointed.

Tasted Floc's Mexican rice bowl, parmesan chicken, chicken Kiev, beef cheese burger, peppermint hot chocolate, and caramel mocha. The Mexican rice bowl had a generous serving, but the parmesan chicken portion was a bit small but had enjoyable taste. Chicken Kiev is not recommended due to uncomplimented filling of ground green coriander with oil , tasted bit bitter. Mashed potatoes lacked a creamy texture and flavor. On the positive side, the peppermint hot chocolate offered a rich chocolate flavor, and the caramel mocha was also enjoyable.

Floc is a restaurant located at a rich area of Zamzama Clifton. This restaurant is a popular place which attracts a trendy crowd and has a smoking and a non smoking zone. It's a good place to hang out if one is in a mood for having coffee and snacks. It is a good place to have breakfast and the last breakfasts are served by 5 pm. The coffee in cappuccino is good however the americano brew is not upto the taste and standard of coffee. Parking is difficult to get there and especially during weekends when there is a lot of rush in the crowd. The weekdays are good for a person who comes with ones partner or alone to work and spend time alone. The staff is good and cooperative. I ordered the sandwich platter which was served for two persons and was served with buffalo sauce. Along with it I ordered am americano. The sandwiches were served with beef and chicken and mashed potato. There were 9 sandwich halves in total. 3 sandwiches eAch with beef, chicken and mashed potato. The sandwiches were a bit dry and required dip of buffalo sauce. These were small sandwiches like one bite.

An excellent place for the people who demand peace and lots of time to enjoy their special food. Which Floc offers. Including ketogenic diet. It's a heaven for smokers as this place allows smoking. One can have different variety of drinks and spent hours of pleasant ambiance and very humble and helpful staff.

Everytime I am in Karachi. This is my go to place. Specifically for the house blend french press. Been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For a cafe their size, they serve high quality food and drinks. Plenty of board games, wifi, books, power sockets and amazing desert. Pretty much all in one. They do have separate in door sitting for smokers and non smokers. Goood work👍

It's all in the ambiance and food. A really well designed, spacious lot with appropriate music. The food was amazing (especially their coffees!). We had the FLOC cheeseburgers and pasta. I also had the lemon iced tea which had just the right flavors. With that said, the management needs a change. The manager was absent on our call, the staff isn't aware of answers to common questions, late service, and momentary clean-up (we didn't request it; it's rude to jump up close on and do a quick cleanup, atleast for me it is).

Came here first time and tried Belgium Chocolate Mocha on their recommendation and we Loved it ❤️ The staff was very friendly 😊 One more thing I liked was when we asked them to show their menu their response was: Sir, we are not allowed to handover the menu due to Covid-19 situation. Also, they need to update their closing timings on the Google maps as the closing time mentioned on the maps is 9.30pm, whereas the actual timings is 10pm for the weekdays and 10.30pm for the saturday and Sundays

Has to be my favorite beverage these days, the 'diry dark' from For the love of coffee, unlike others you get this one has a very rich flavor. That coupled with a Pain Au Chocolat from Kakes by Karimi and you are good to go. Just can't go wrong with this combo.

The name suggests that this place should be serving some extra ordinary coffee but in my cappuccino experience it was normal and I would say Mc Cafe has a better cappuccino. Though their breakfast was good, we loved the french toast and the omelet was also good. Also they have some sharing with a bakery in house that has some really good croissants.

I ordered through Careem. The coffee was great. The Asian rice bowl, however, should be advertised with a “dangerously spicy” disclaimer. It is almost inedible. Some people may like it; however, it should be clearly marked as such rather than an innocuous description about garlic rice and scrambled eggs. It was red chilli sauce galore. I called the cafe to let them know of my experience and was told it’s a “running item”. No apologies, no trying to make it up. Coffee is good - service could be significantly improved. Likely will not order from here again.

I expected a lot better from this place. Ordered fried prawns and calamari, very thick on the batter and very little prawn and calamari. The batter was so thick that instead of being crispy on the outside it was just chewy. I ordered Mexican salad, which ti my opinion was good. Could have topped with avocado and or tortillas for the originality. There was nothing Mexican about that salad. Another thing we ordered were chicken thighs, and some disappointment that was. The most smallest, saltiest two pieces of chicken that had nothing standing out for it. Like I have been disappointed with food before but this was abysmal. The dill sauce had much salt. FLOC really needs to up their food game. And given it says for the love of coffee, I had the most disappointing caramel latte ever!

Ordered Shepherds pie chicken twice and recently tried their bulletproof coffee too. The taste was amazing! The pie was served fresh out of the oven and the cheese immediately melted in my mouth. The serving size is also quite big, which justifies the price tag. Placed the order through WhatsApp and their representative, Usama, was super helpful and friendly. Highly recommended. Will definitely order again!

The cafe itself is very small and congested with an issue of overcrowding and just two people to oversee it. We ordered Turkey Benedict and they didn't have turkey bacon for it which was replaced with beef bacon that was rather stale. It was served with brown bread without asking if we'd like white or brown. The entire meal was cold, stale, and not fresh at all. Ordered steak omlette which had this overpowering pepper taste in the steak while the egg was bland as anything. So that was definitely a 5/10. I personally ordered a bleu cheeseburger which was the only thing we liked in our order. It was an 8.5/10. Tasted really good! And came with fresh veggies, cheese and a spot-on sauce! Overall, I would probably not visit Floc again for a meal. Just coffee or other beverages would do! Which by the way, I did want to try the strawberry cheesecake frappe. I was super excited about choosing that on the menu - Until, the lights went, without any generator backup, and we were swearing it off in today's heat, and there was no one to cater to that order, so I just asked for my bill.

FLOC is hands down my favourite and most reliable place (in terms of quality) for coffee and hot chocolate beverages. The menu is very innovative, and there's specialty coffee too. The pasta dishes are decent. If you're a hot chocolate fan, the devil's dark hot chocolate is a must have! The selection of books is good too. Very cozy to place to sit and work or read.
