We tried their Karahi, and it was incredibly delicious. The service was excellent, and even the raita was top-notch. The quantity of Karahi was more than satisfying, and I must say, their half Karahi is sufficient for three people. Recommended.

Frontier probably has the best Karahi in town. It’s my must visit street restaurant to go to when visiting Karachi, Pakistan. The chef makes the Karahi live in front of you and the food is outstanding. Love it. If you love spicy Pakistani food, then Frontier should be on your list of places to try in the city.

Frontier restaurant, boat basin food street opposite Benazir park 🏞️ Clifton/boat basin. Atmosphere is clean, families were dining in outdoor setup happily and securely. Food was also fresh, balance cooked, services are also active and clean, feedback collection and table management is also active, there is rush after 8 PM on frontier. A little pricey and costly with respect to burns road food street.

I visit with my friends. It was a nice place with good staff, you can either sit outside the restaurant next to the service road or sit inside. Sitting outside is great if the weather is good. This is only an evening restaurant so remember to visit after 7pm, they only place to park your car is the service road if you find a space. We order Mutton Karahi, Paneer reshmi handi, beef bihari boti and beef seekh kabab that took nearly 30 to 40 minutes to serve as they start cooking after you place an order. The taste of the Mutton Karahi and Beef Bihari Boti was great. I will recommend this place for food lover and those who want to taste a Karahi and BBQ, they have both variety Mutton and Chicken Karahi and BBQ.

I personally thought this place is really overhyped. I called and ordered a mutton karahi after reading all the great reviews and specifically said to not make it too spicy as some of the reviews mentioned they use a little too much chilli. Once I ate it it was ridiculously overspiced and oily and not enjoyable to eat. The flavour was ok and the quality and texture of the meat was not tender enough. Very disappointed they ignored my request and gave me an overspiced ouly mess if a karahi which had a very average taste Since eating this I have been in pain and will definitely not be coming back here again.

Cafe Frontier is great for mostly meaty affair especially of Northern Pakistani style of KPK. Both dishes were delicious and bread Naan was hot and crisp. Overall food was scrumptious and sumptuous though slightly lacking in ambiance. Actually it’s 4 + in review

Being a karachiite, and a food fanatic, having gone to the stretch of the city for all kinds of karahi, I can easily say that frontier stands out in a unique way compared to the rest. Go to any shinwari and you'd find an uncanny resemblance between these restaurants, but the texture and the taste at frontier honestly stands out. Priced exactly right for what they serve. The way forwards is always mutton, if you get mutton (cooked) right, you get everything else right too! What can I say, Mutton karahi is love. We ordered 1.5 kg, served in three different Karachis, which I later found out is more expensive to do, compared to splitting them in a 1kg karahi and a half kg one. Either way, it was ample for 8 people, we did however also add the mutton chops to the menu. Which were alright, you could explore other options in the menu if you don't fancy them. It’s an average tasting karahi. There is nothing really special about this save for the solitary cheese slice. The management charges for things which are never being ordered and there are always some errors in billing by them.

Last night, I dined at Frontier Restaurant, and I had heard some positive things about it. However, I must admit that I was not particularly impressed with my experience. The quality of the food was not up to my expectations, and the overall service and management left a lot to be desired. Additionally, I found the prices to be quite high for what was offered. If you're considering dining out, I would recommend exploring other restaurants in the area to make the most of your time and money. Frontier Restaurant may not be the best choice.

This was the 2nd time i visited here and it was with family. We ordered 1 KG Chicken Cheese Qarahi & some Kasturi Boti with cheese. We loved it & it was worth it having dinner there. The total was around 3500 including drinks, rotis, raita etc.

Visited after a very long time. Was good to see the same faces. Frontier has always had the best mutton and lamb karhai and they have still maintained this quality. Apart from the karhai we also ordered chaamp; both red and namkeen. The taste was great and it was fully crowded. This was the only restaurant in Boat Basin which was fully crowded

Service was good and quick. Atmosphere was okay since we sat outside. Food was tasteless, not upto Karachiiets expectations. Ordered Dumba Karhai and there was no Charbi in it looked like goat meat.

Overpriced and overhyped .... Nothing special.... absolutely nothing!!!! Went for makhni cheese malyee haandi.... Tasted like ....I dunno.... nothing like the name mentioned above.... Neither cheese nor makhni.... also ordered malyee boti... they were half done ...maybe they thought I ordered half done food.... taste was ....once again a huge disappointment!!! Servers are as rude as anyone could be.... Serves garlic naan when we were about to finish our meal.... I won't recommend it at all.... Sheer waste of money ..... We could've been far better off if we opted for salateen or even burns road .... Horrible experience....

Food was just fine. Did not like the mutton karahe. Barbq platter was good. My other team mates liked Afghani boti as well but not me. After paying bill the baba g did not returned the money and forcefully kept the tip. Which I did not like. We already pay heavy bills.

Tried their goat karahi, it was very good! Had to wait about an hour but worth the wait!

The food was good but they put a lot of charbi in dumba karahi, majority of people dont like 50% charbi in karahi . And one thing is that they ask you to leave the minute before you finish eating! Thats is not the good thing because eating is half the purpose of gathering remaining half is chit chat with friends and when you spend 8-10k they should have give you 10 to 15 minutes!

It was an awesome experience. Nice sitting environment for family too. Chicken karahi and mutton karahi were more than average but chicken cheese makhni haandi was more than awsome and mouth watering at the same time. Chicken boti also belonged to the great food category.

This place is famous for Mutton Karahi. Pro tip: Malai Boti and Kastori Boti is the same. Just that Kastori Boti has a cheese slice on top.

Even on Thursday, it was full to capacity. Fortunately, we found a place in few mins. Everything we ordered was delicious, specially, the Beef Behari Kebabs. Not sure if they have any family hall or sitting area because the open sitting is suitable for gents only. Overall, its highly recommended if you are coming for taste.

Tried chicken cheese makhni karahi. Quantity was good, half karahi was sufficient for 3 person. Taste was fine too, full of cream but karahi lacks the taste of cheese maybe because they put only one slice of cheese in it. Price was very reasonable. Overall I’ll say it’s value for money

A bit costly place for desi food but man their makhani Daal was fab literally the great daal i've ever tasted, their wthite karahi is grest too above avrage but thier karahi bone less was below average... If you want to taste a different thing instead of meet i would prefer to taste thier daal makhani... Such a great dish... Had a total of 3360Rs for 6 people..
