Amazing Experience...Good Taste ....Very Clean and reasonable Price...Daal Rice n Shami Kebab Combo is Must...Try Goin between 12.30 to 1.30 pm or else you might get rush and shami kebab finishes Quick.

Daal Rice is delicious and definitely worth the money that was paid. Total PKR 900 for: - Daal Rice (2 servings/platter) - 1 shaami kabab (per serving) - Carrot pickle (per serving) - 2 small bottles of Aquafina (bottled mineral water). Their serving was generous, and they were happy to offer an additional serving of pickle at no extra cost. Their seating area was limited (they can accommodate total 10-12 people), shaded outdoor seating (under a tree, to be specific), but what I absolutely loved is that they kept the area very clean, so visiting with your family is possible. Please don't expect too much in terms of types of cutlery and fancy tables and chairs after all, it is a budgeted outdoor arrangement. With winters around the corner, I believe this will be the perfect spot for a quick afternoon lunch break.

The Daal Chawal Thali at Karachi's Boat Basin, near Al Naz Biryani, is a delightful street food experience. This humble dish consists of lentils and rice but packs a punch of flavor. First, the aroma of freshly cooked lentils and rice draws you in. The thali is generously portioned, making it a satisfying meal. The daal is cooked to perfection, creamy and rich in spices, with a hint of tanginess that tantalizes your taste buds. The chawal (rice) is fluffy and serves as the perfect companion to the daal. Together, they create a harmonious balance of textures and flavors. The thali usually comes with a side of pickles and papad, adding an extra layer of taste. What truly sets this place apart is its location. The street food stalls near Boat Basin offer an authentic Karachi experience. You can savor your meal while enjoying the bustling atmosphere of the city. It's a great spot to soak in the local culture. In summary, the Daal Chawal Thali near Boat Basin is a must-try for anyone visiting Karachi. Its simplicity, combined with explosive flavors, makes it a standout dish in the world of street food. Don't miss this culinary gem when you're in the area.

We took a combo thali which included daal, rice, achaar, kabab, onion, salty lassi. I'll describe everything separately 1. Daal: Daal was actually daal chicken with very low spices and in other words it was bland 2. Rice: Rice was of good quality 3. Achaar: Very little achaar was provided in thaali 4. Kabab: very bland and i think it was of chicken where shami should be of beef 5. Onion was also there 6. Lassi was ok Quantity: rice was less for a 1 person Secondly no greenchilli was provided.

They have a pathetic taste. They don't know how to make daal. They even didn't cook daal completely and blended it. We were able to see raw (kachi) dall peices and the rice were too hard to chew. They should learn how to cook daal not blend it directly. They even don't use correct spices. Salt was also less in daal. The price is way to high according to the taste. Ocean mall clifton k bahr zyada achy daal chawal milty hain in cheapest price. In short they have a terrible chef who never had a good daal ever.
