We have a large family with a wide range of kids ages (8-16). This hotel was phenomenal. The six of us fit very comfortably into 2 connected family rooms. Clean, bright, comfortable and pleasant. The pool slides were endlessly entertaining for our kids, the petting zoo was a sweet surprise, the swim up bar was a hit for the adults (plus the roving happy hour!). The beach location was just enough to go stroll at sunset and join beach activities. Not the prettiest beach in Thailand but we were there for an easy transfer from the airport for 3-4 days while we went to visit the elephants and have some pool family fun. Proximity to attractions was perfect. And I have to gush on the FOOD. Awesome breakfast spread that didn’t feel crowded and loads of options. Plus every restaurant on and around the hotel (but still owned by the hotel) was top notch some of the best meals we have had on vacation! Pool-side massages were a happy bonus! Caring staff who made sure to help with any question or concern. Wonderful stay!

The pool slides were the highlight of the stay for our 8 yo. Close to the beach but you have to cross a busy road first. 15 minutes walk to the night market for dinner food. Beautiful gardens. Buffet breakfast is pretty good, but not up to the standard of the nearby Pullman hotel. The ice cream shop is absolutely spectacular: not many choices but very good quality. Very few customers for buffet dinner, most choose to eat outside or at the pretty good Italian restaurant nearby.

We had such an excellent holiday. The fun family terrace was perfect for our small family of 4 with beautiful views of the pool and beach. The food was superb and the rooms and gardens so clean and well maintained. The staff were so friendly and always remembered our names. We felt so welcome. A special thank you to Eddie and Napa at reception for helping us with all our check in and check out details and booking excursions etc. Also a massive thanks to Wan from the main bar and kitchen

Fantastic place to stay and have a holiday. We stayed as a family of 5 in gorgeous 2 bedroom family suit. Highly recommend. Hotel staff is excellent. Thank you Peach, Pui, Tan and Mos for looking after us and doing everything possible to make sure our stay is beyond expectation. Eddie in reception is amazing. All staff is very helpful and great. We stayed at this hotel on our 1st Excursion to Thailand. We were a family of 5. 2 adults, 17,12 and 9 year old kids. Great hotel emphasised by the Friendliness and Professionalism of the staff. All bar staff especially the guys round the pool who had the kids requests to a “Tee” pardon the pun one if the guys were called Tee who was Super. Biggest mention must go to the reception concierge “ Eddie”. The nicest and best concierge I have ever encountered. This guy is WOW! Helps with everything from Luggage, outside information, taxi local restaurants and anything you need to make your holiday easier. The rooms are the biggest we have ever had. We had a 3 bedroom which would have accommodate easily 7-8. There is 3 bedroom pools including the slide pool but slides hurt a little. The food was excellent. Sun loungers but poor as sore to lie in but there is big spongy beds but have a canopy over them blocking sun. Suitable for some. Could do with a bit of money pumped in for decor but in general The hotel is really worth staying if you have a family. Quiet location and close to beach. Remember: if you need anything ask for EDDIE.

Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, helping us in every part of our stay. Staff was especially helpful with luggage, even though we had lots of bags - special shout-out to Eddie for his great service and great attitude! The rooms were clean and very nice - quite a comfortable stay. My only downsides would be that the pool closes at 7 and I would prefer to have later hours. Also, be very careful of the slides, the water is very shallow and it’s quite easy to get hurt. Breakfast was delicious every morning with plenty of revolving options.

We spent 9 days at Thavorn Palm beach resort. The hotel and staff went above and beyond during our stay. The Rooms were modern and clean, the hotel grounds were pristine, and the Buffett breakfast had plenty of options. All of the staff were so friendly and kind, but a special mention to Mos and Max at the Blue heaven bar where we spent a lot of time (happy hour), these guys were amazing!! Delicious cocktails. Thank you Thavorn for an amazing holiday.

Wonderful first holiday in Thailand. Hotel and resort beautiful. Rooms were large with gorgeous balcony views. All the staff were very kind, particularly Ele and bar staff Wan May Park. We spent a lot of time at the pools and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Our grandson adored the animal petting zoo. Thank you Thavorn hotel.

Hotel very nice. We had a great stay kids loved it. Eddie the concierge was by far the greatest we have ever come across. Helping my eldery mother after she hurt her ankle. Got a wheelchair for her the works. Eddie is exactly why we come to Thailand 🇹🇭. You will be in great hands here. Look forward to coming back again

What a lovely resort, we love it here. Breakfast is Amazing and staff is so friendly and helpful. One staff member that was always willing to help us, answer our questions and give us advice and tips was Eddie. He is Really good value to the resort. We had a great stay at the Thavorn. The hotel location and facilities are great. We only had a minor issue with housekeeping that didn’t make our room 1 day and another day came to to the room at 5:45 pm when we were all back from the beach and ready to have a shower and relax. Besides that the staff is very helpful. Breakfast is great as well. Especially Eddie who went beyond to give us local tip and great service! Thank you Eddie you are a star!

We had a lovely stay at this very family friendly hotel. All what i expected for family stay was done. Our son loved the petting zoo and enjoyed the playroom. Eddie was very friendly and helped us with our bags, a special thanks for him who really take care of us. All of the staff were great - The 3 pools are big with lots of shallow areas too. I recommend this for anyone who want to enjoy a family stay. Would love to come back!

We spent the last two nights of our trip in Thailand at Karon and decided to stay at Thavorn Palm Resort. It was a great way to unwind at the end of our trip. The resort has all the amenities required and easy activities onsite, inclusive of numerous water slides, a petting zoo, ice cream shop, coffee shop and bistro.
