It’s used to be a buzzing place before COViD hits… now is a little quieter. Partly is the world is not travelling as much as before, Russia and China is still lock down which I believe there are many Russians and Chinese here before. Some shops at the night market are open, restaurants are operating still. So come and support Kata Night market

Went to visit as this was one of our favourite places 3 years back. Unfortunately it was empty. Not a single visitor at dinner time and only 2 food vendors open. Only about 10 of the shops were open, rest was closed. Not worth the visit at this stage. Hopefully it returns over the next few months

👌 night market open till 4 AM. Numerous shops selling clothes, momentos, decorative items etc. Huge food court mainly selling delicious street food of good variety here. 1 lane is dedicated to bars only. Some of them with live singers 🎤 . Must visit if you are staying nearby. We stayed in Peach Hill Resort and it is at walking distance from here. 🥰🤩❤️

Went for Sat night dinner and it was generally quiet. The food stalls that were open had fresh food and there's great deals to be had, especially for lobster. Service was prompt, the long haired dude at the seafood stall was nice (gf complimented him on his spoken Chinese, hearing him speak it to some other visitors) and helpfully reminded us to not miss the lobster meat hidden in the head (lobster cheeks? 🤔) Would give 5 stars if it were livelier, hope business picks up! 🙏🏽

It's situated opposite the Otis hotel and little away from the marked location. The market mostly has food stalls and few cloth and beauty product shops. Many shops are still not open. There is one street ice cream vendor who freshly prepares ice cream rolls which I liked most.

Food here especially the local Thai food was very good and reasonably priced. You can get the usual night market shopping but definitely very reasonably priced food which was very tasty. There were both locals and tourists eating. We had the mussels, squid, fried rice and tempura shrimp. The fried ice cream and Thai mango were probably one step too far but had to be done.

Nice place to grab food and have a sit down to eat. The fried chicken wings are awesome along with the skewered pork. But because Phuket had got so many Russians, they often blast Russian music, not that it's a bad thing and the Russians are actually quite pleasant, it's just not a very Thai experience

Phuket is only recovering from tourists being away during COVID, so only about 10 souvenir and tshirt stands were open. The FOOD however at the big seafood stand was incredible! Go encourage them, best seafood and fish we have found in 1 week of Phuket. Delicious and fresh!

Not too crowded for a night market. Has a lot of local thai street food, especially seafood. There is live music, so you can enjoy your meal while listening to them.

Maybe this market hasn’t bounced back post-COVID or something, but it was half empty when we visited. A few vendors selling clothing / souvenirs, and one small food court area where half of the stalls were closed. Definitely not the same type of vibrant, buzzing night market we’d come to expect from Thailand. Recommend visiting the Kata walking street market just a few blocks away instead

Nice market for shopping for knick knacks and clothes and home decoration stuff. It's got an extremely good food court too. Lots of restaurants around the market area. Very lively area and do bargain for everything the prices are really good. The food court is highly recommended for food. Very cheap and extremely tasty. The chef from one of the stalls is very friendly and comes out to help you choose and also let me taste the sauces he made for my fish dishes to see if it was spicy enough. The service was exemplary and went back here 3 times. Food is way better and cheaper than all the touristy restaurants on the main roads in Kata Karon areas

Great night market with lots of options. Prices are fair. We had the best burger ever on this market. Also the big stall when you enter the covered market, next to the smoothie/fruit stall, has the best food!

Cheap market with local souvenir shops and restaurants. Food is ok, definitely cheap. Not the best quality, very oily.

A sweet little market.. You can eat relatively cheaply here, get cheap drinks and also get lots of (unnecessary) souvenirs :) If you want to try something crazy, you can buy frogs or maggots on skewers. Otherwise, there is a lot of sea food and the usual Thai dishes. However, the cleanliness of the tables leaves a lot to be desired.

A must visit in you are spending the night near Kata beach. Lots of food stalls, great selection of fruits. Many fresh fish and seafood that can be prepared in variety of ways. Cool bar on the spot with nice cocktails and very friendly service.

Amazing experience we loved the street food. The market is huge lots of cheap stuff but you don't have to buy anything. I will go again just for the food. The freshly prepared prawns was to die for.

Pleasantly surprised to have found this lovely place. Great local produce, fresh seafood, good prices, lovely service. Not many stands but plenty to choose from. Also plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your lunch/ dinner.

If you stay nearby, Kata night market is certainly worth a visit. Pretty cheap and various items to shop. Street food, fruits and fresh smoothie are really attractive point of this market. It is open every Monday and Thursday during 5-10pm.

Lovely night market to spend an evening there. The market is more focused on food than goods which suited me. The vibe in the market was lively and friendly. Mostly tourists but that is not a bad thing. I had also been to OTOP and Marlin Plaza in Patong and the Kata night market is my favourite.

An experience to delight. If you are in Kata definitely stop in for a feed. We enjoyed a tasty seafood meal on our way back to the hotel after spending a good afternoon out dehydrating 😉. I thoroughly enjoyed the squid and it was nice to sit back and enjoy a few beers while eating in the market.

Should not vent just because one outlet turns out to be an unethical tourist trap. The food choices are great and varied. The grubs, beetles and scorpion stall is always a crowd puller, but only for the 10 baht it costs to take a photo. The common seating area is completely full all the time and it is just easier to do takeaway.
