I stayed there for a long time but the waiter didn’t even come to the table for the order! Worst experience!

always an amazing coffee experience at this outlet of Himalayan Java Coffee at Chhaya center. fast serving, good customer hospitality and really a good place to enjoy your decent coffee and brownies after shopping at Chhaya complex!! recommended!!

Hi. I had a bad experience at Himalayan Java Coffee - Chhaya Center. I ordered coffee and asked staff any Discount as a Aloft hotel guest. Then this lady at the counter staff, laughed at me. "Discount huh?" Like this. I feel very bad. All the Nepal people i have ever met was really kind, nice and humble. This shop located near by the international hotel, you have to have international service mind and humble mindset. I am very disappointed with service. All i wanted to do is enjoying Nepal coffee. That's all. No wonder the google review of here is the worst.

Excellent, genuinely friendly, attentive staff. Coffee is excellent, far superior to starbucks. The espresso roast is perfect, not over roasted. The only coffee house in Kathmandu not playing intolerable rubbish pop music. Really pleasant atmosphere. Also,unlike most other coffee houses here, they have a good meduim roast.

This is one of the busiest java as it is in the ground floor of Chaya Center. It is a little noisy and i would prefer take out rather than dine in in this outlet. The ambience is really pretty and the staff is friendly. I really loved the blended mint lemonade the service staff recommended. This was hands off the best mint lemonade I've ever had.

Very productive ambience to have a meeting, get some work done, or simply chill and have some good coffee.

I like the coffee and food here overall however I frequently experience bad services at Himalayan Java Coffee most of the time. I was on my way and used the app to order, they did not do a confirmation call and when i reached they were not prepared. And said those order are not available and again made me reorder from the app and wasted my time. When I asked them that they should have confirmed my order from the app they said birsyo. And the manager (lady) was also not so friendly. Its just that for such a wanna be international standard and high price they should do better. If the app is not ready they should not launch it. If the product is sold out they should mention so. If there is trouble the staffs/managers should be polite.

Amazing ambience. Food are dammiiii too. But Customer service is were they have to improve as they are charging higher rate. Service was slow due to our busy schedule we have to cancel our few order too. Overall good place to have breakfast with friends/family/alone when you are at chhaya center.

Unlike other himalayan java, waiters here showed up with very poor service. They were also serving coffees in damaged cups and pots.

I find Chaya's Java a bit more expensive than other places. Also, they don't provide any discounts or offers.

Got food poisoning from lettuce. Don’t let the western vibe fool you that the fresh produce is safe. Good sandwich tho!

Great meeting place - large outdoor area to relax

I found this coffe perfect to work, various plugs, Wi-Fi works well, not very noisy and also the quality of things is nice. Very American/European style. The only issue is that is a bit expensive for being is Kathmandu (1,30 € for a coffe), but considering the area of the city I think it’s nice !

There is not much you can ask from himalayan java its a good chill place.
