The waiter was so nice. The food, amazing. Really good potatoes. Just wished i got some good ol ketchup with them. Haha. Also, the cat made my day.

The food tasted great, portions were satisfying. The service was fabulous and the ambience was excellent. The pricing is on the higher side, but it's worth it. Located on the top floor of the building, you need to ask the other people about its location, as the entrance to this building is like a maze and can be quite challenging for 1st time visitors. Overall I had a decent experience. My friend ordered veggie pasta, and she does not recommend it as it tasted way too much green.

Best restaurant in Kathmandu. Went here twice a day for 4 days after trekking because we were craving fresh delicious salads. The fresh lemonade, cheese balls, and cashew cake dessert were the best recommendations! Really nice owners are staff as well. Could not have had a better experience.

The place to go after a long trek to enjoy tasty salad and great quality steak. The cheese balls with garlic sauce are wonderful as well. We have been coming back every day, the owners and personal is really nice and friendly, and the ambience is relaxing.

Wonderful spot to grab food in Thamel. The menu caters to all diets including vegan / vegetarian. Our party of 7 really enjoyed the atmosphere and food here. Forest & Plate is located on the top floor of the building off the pedestrian Mandala street. It gets you away from the noise of Kathmandu! Walking in feels like walking into a quiet forest, lots of greenery and plant decor. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I had a Ginger Mule drink (mocktail) which was great. We shared the combo potato appetizer platter (highly recommend). I got the super veggie salad - a much needed burst of fresh vegetables after almost 3 weeks in the mountains. Others in my party got the fresh kale salad, chicken Thali set, Mexican salad, and chicken dishes - everyone was very happy with the food. Highly recommended for a visit when in KTM!

Wonderful service, first taste of Nepalese food and was not let down. In such a picturesque spot. Normally push myself to go somewhere new to eat when I travel but couldn't help coming back here.

This place is amazing. The food is beyond tasty and so professionally prepared, my girlfriend and I came here almost everyday for the month we stayed in Kathmandu. The staff are very cool, fast and great service and the overall environment is perfect.

Great service, great food, and a relaxing environment above the noise and crowds of Thamel. I had the Cajun Himalayan Pasta and found myself spooning up every last bit of that delicious sauce after I'd finished the dish! Wash it down with a glass of refreshing mint lemonade and you've got the recipe for a filling and relaxing meal.

Calm and hidden place in Thamel - Kathmandu. The staff members were incredibly warm, kind and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious and the cocktails were amazing as well! And the place is very clean, calm, lovely and confortable. I highly recommend to have dinner there! Thank you so much!

WOW ! As a Cheesecake Factory general manager, I recently had an amazing dining experience at Prava's restaurant, (Florest and Plate). The momos were by far the best I've ever had, juicy and well seasoned. The Florest salad was refreshing and unique, and the Cajun Himalaiya home made pasta had perfectly cooked chicken. The passion and dedication showcased in every dish made it a truly memorable experience. If you're looking for authentic cuisine with a modern twist, I highly recommend visiting Florest and Plate. Very good place for healthy food. Loved their super veggie salad with generous portions 😃 The service was a little slow but guessing it was their peak hour. This place has a nice touristy vibe to it. Will be my choice when the salad is on my mind.

The cheese balls were outstanding! The service was great. Guacamole and Mexican salads were great as well.

Nice ambiance. It feels relaxing surrounded by greenery. I had Cajun Himalayan pasta which was really good and will definitely go again to try their salad. Only downside is washroom is downstairs and it's really dirty. Good place for dinner.

Service is great but food is not good at all. I ordered veg thali and my friend got stake with shrimp. The thali didn’t taste fresh at all and vegetables were soggy. My friends’ beef was chewy and dry. Overall a nice place to get a drink but avoid the food part

Very tasty food. Fresh salad, nice pasta. Cozy atmospher where you can forget that you are in the middle of a busy city. The restroom needs to be repaired and freshened up a bit. Friendly staff but slow kitchen, we waited a long while for are food both times we where there. With that said the food is worth the wait just make sure you aren't in a rush.

The food is excellent. They offer different options (not only vegetarian). The sesame chicken and paparita chicken were awesome. You can taste the freshness of their ingredients. The staff is very friendly and will make sure that you will have a great time! Hands down one of the best restaurants in Kathmandu.

Delicious and very fresh food, the best we had in Kathmandu! And the best momo. The menu is an interesting mixture of Nepali and continental cuisine! The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere so nice and authentic. We went there both for dinner and for lunch! We spent my birthday there and we had the cashew cake as a birthday cake!

I agreed with one review that this is worthy of Michelin stars. The ingredients are super fresh and likely cooked a la minute. We enjoyed the salad and pasta dishes.

Nice cozy place where to stop far from the noisy traffic. Good selection of fresh salads: after eating a lot of dalh and fried food it is nice to have a different option. Kind and fast service.

Tried Broccoli Soup, MexicanSalad, Kale salad and the forest salad. Everything was refreshingly fresh, crunchy to my liking. Only drawbacks here were limited seats, slow service as it took over 30 mins on average to get our orders, I am sure they had a good reason and it's not as slow as my first time the next time I go there which is definitely. Also some dressings I felt were bit inadequate for the size. The last shortcomings which unfortunately has become the most common matter for many of the restaurants here in KTM city are the servers whose inexperience and lacking of basics communication skills which I like to believe could improve with manager's care and constant trainings which would go a long way in bringing an overall positive experiences for any customers.The waiters there were all sincere and seemed hard working,and definitely seemed they could be even better with some guidance.

Don’t be tempted by the majority of western dishes (pasta, salads) and stick to the traditional cuisine which is the highlight, from momos to Dāl bhāt to fresh fruits (esp mangos if you’re lucky enough to be there in season). The location on the top floor terrace makes you feel like you’re in the tree tops, and the devoted hospitality makes you feel like royalty.

Good ambience at the roof top. The forest salad was the best of all. Chicken platter was just ok ok. I felt the chicken was lil hard. Chicken wings was good one. Both the watermelon and special juice of the day carrot beetroot was good too.

Tasty, freshly prepared food that’s a joy to eat after three long weeks of trekking! A great escape from the dusty streets of Thamel. I had a super friendly and cute furry friend keeping me company, which only added to the lovely experience. ❤️

We came 3 times in this restaurant! The food is tasty and prepared with good quality product! And on top of that the prices are very reasonable! Sanjay is an excellent manager ! We met him during our last visit and we can feel he really cares for the customer satisfaction! We recommend this place to everyone!

Salads are amazing, and make sure you get the ginger mule mock tail. Out of this world. Presentation is amazing, friendly staff and they have a resident cat (even better) who you can cuddle with. Have been here many times during my stay in Kathmandu and loved it.
