It's OK as I did not get to taste the variety of food at Bota as the Dashain festival is just over hence they have limited food items as MO:MO, Noodles and Aloo Fry for now.😟 Also another reason for 3 Star is the additional 13% VAT. As the Government has already announced not to take service charge and VAT🚫🚫, restaurants are still charging us the amount which they should be paying and also we do not get the VAT bill.😡😡 Rest for the food it was good, service a bit late and overall the atmosphere was ok. All in all ok experience for me 🙏

Multiple options of achar to choose. Chicken jhol momo is one of my favorite. Staff are very ill mannered! we waited about half an hour (in not busy day) for veg momo, and when we asked, they laughed and completely ignored!(totally unprofessional) and the place is too cramped. Service has totally degraded from what i had experienced in past.

Just very average experience. Price is higher relative to the food item offered. I found that frozen made ready, not so delightful authentic taste. Would prefer to look for other outlet choices next time😶

I tried their 'jhol momo' and it was one of the worst tasting momo I've had in a while. I had high expectations since this place is mainly dedicated for mo:mos. The fried chicken is spiced to the point that it tasted bitter and unpleasing. The 'jhol' in the jhol momo was so bad that I had to leave the place with six pieces of momos uneaten on the table. Their customer service isn't good either. I had to constantly look at the counter while eating to check if my food is ready since they don't seem to care or call if your order is ready. The way they handle 'self-service' is so wrong. Only good thing I found is that they have underground parking.

This Place Is Not For Vegetarians. My friend ordered Veg Jhol momo. We had high expectations but we were very disappointed after tasting the momo. My friend tasted the jhol and just pushed the bowl away. I also tried tasting it and it was terrible. It tasted like the soup that is served to patients in hospitals. It tasted like packaged soup (nothing like momo ko jhol). I tasted the veg momo as well and it was also not very good as per the price.

Great food, i love the texture of the steem momo, i found the same texture that i used to get while i was a child , and the same kind of flavour with great family atmosphere. I suddenly spotted the place, and i couldn't say no to my eyes, so i went in to test it. Steem momo is the best. I am going with my wife soon. I also took 4 more plates to my family.

Went to Bota momo after such a long time. Their momo is absolute delight. Though they offer varieties in momo, I always go for regular steam momo: never disappoints. Their khaja set is simple and delicious, no extravagent presentation, simple but flavorful.

I went there with my family, we had Chat Momo, Open Momo and Sadheko momo. Momo quality is good. Momo lovers can enjoy here with multiple varities. Ambience is average but staff behaviour is appreciated.

Food was average. Neat and tidy, staffs are good. I love that spicy sadheko mo:mo. One time visit place. Specially the self serve sauce bar is different than other place.

3.5 for overall experience, they had wide variety of selections, we tried almost most popular options including kids menu. Momo was tasty for all different varieties. We didn’t know we had to pay first to order and may be expecting a bit faster service. But overall good experience

The staff were super polite and helpful. The service was smooth and fast. It had been a while since I went to Bota and loved everything we ordered, specifically local momo served with sesame jhol achaar. The only thing that was less convenient was that they have cash only option for payment, no card payment. However, there's an ATM nearby. But still, it'd be easier to make a payment via card.

Very bad quality of food. Got very upset stomach after eating chicken momo. Ingredients are not at all fresh. Worst experience. The aachars are kept open for self serving but there are flys constantly flying around that. No wonder so many branches have shut down.

1 star just because of the price... Momo ekdum average छ... Local 100 rs ko momo ko taste भन्दा Kunai better chaina... Why pay 200++ more??? I would better go to darjeeling Momo or any other authentic momo outlet and enjoy... Additional 13% vat is a joke...

Wow.. tasty jhol momos

Quiet a popular place for momo lovers. Has multiple branches around Kathmandu, in Basantapur in the Jocchen/Freak Street gully and right opoosite to Traffic Police Headquters in Kamalpokhari are the ones I have visited. The Kamalpokhari branch is in the office area. Kamaldi and Kamalpokhari areas have a lot of private banks and shops so it is quiet busy during lunch time. The service is great, the sitting area and ambience is nice. There is a lot of variety of momos you get here. And you can also get sekuwa here, not momo sekuwa but normal sekuwa. No cold drinks on offer though and that is a bummer. Over all a nice place if you have a palate for variety of momos. I personally don't like fancy stuff done to my momos. I like my momos simple, steamed. All the sadheko, bhuteko, sekuwa, open and all doesn't entice me as much as it may entice the next person. But it is worth the experience and the momos do taste nice too.
