We stayed here on the tail end of a G Adventures trip. The hotel was fantastic. The staff was wonderful, the rooms were comfortable and clean, the rooftop was beautiful, and the food was good. This is a great place to stay in Kathmandu - highly recommend.

Recently stayed here at the end of a G Adventures tour. The rooftop terrace is really nice and a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal or drinks. The lobby restaurant is also good for breakfast. Rooms are very well appointed and are clean and comfortable. The hotel has a really great relaxed vibe and nice cultural touches. It is also a short walk to many places in Kathmandu.

Very friendly staff especially they lady manager. Great food and love the rooftop hangout. Rooms clean with the very traditional vibe. Had an amazing stay.

I stayed here at the start and end of the Mount Everest base camp trek. What a luxurious way to start the trip! The most beautiful building and rooms have a cottage style to them. Tea, water and TV in rooms. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I had dinner breakfast and drinks there. The breakfast was exceptional service. I would definitely recommend. They also let us storage our bags with them for 12 days for no extra charge which I thought was so nice of them

Very luxurious and was a perfect way to start and end our group trip to Everest Base Camp. Fast wifi. Buffet breakfast was delicious and so many options. Room service was fast, well priced and delicious as well. The rooftop bar has a great view of the city, with many drinks options to relax with. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kathmandu!

Lovely hotel, just a little bit of a walk away from the central areas. The staff are great and very welcoming. Rooms are very comfortable with everything you need, lots of hot water and heating for the winter months. Breakfast was al carte and a little expensive but otherwise good. They also offer a direct transfer (at cost) to airport.

Nice property located off the main road in a calm area. Located close to business centres and restaurants in Kamlpikhari area. I recommend it for leisure and business trips.

My wife and I stayed here as part of our Gadventures Everest base camp tour. Ramesh who was the Front Office Supervisor greeted us from day one with a huge smile and warm welcome. To my delight, he was also working on the day that we left. His warm welcome and friendly attitude from start to finish really made our stay 10/10. The food and room and other staff were also exceptional and we will most definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Came here for 3 nights as part of a wider trip. Location is good - slightly away from main roads so not terribly noisy and a 15 minute walk to Tamar market/shopping area. Ser I’ve is generally very good - thee are some individuals that aren’t as helpful, but generally they are. Rooms are lovely and large with great showers and facilities. The only challenge is that there are dogs barking on and off through the night and the widows are single glazed and so it can be hard to sleep. Dinner and breakfast are also good, not brilliant. I very much liked the rooftop bar area as it’s quieter and has better air quality.

Really nice traditional hotel. Loved staying here before and after my trek. Staff were really helpful and nice. About a 10-15 minute walk to Thamel and other shopping districts. Good central area and close to the airport too.

It has a very traditional look - living upto its name. Its terrace restaurant is unique and good reading material available at reception for avid travellers

We had a great stay here! The staff are so friendly, the room is huge and the bed is very comfortable. The meals at the restaurant were delicious! We can't wait to stay again, the next time we are in Kathmandu.

If u r an art lover and really want to make your stay with a traditionally decorated interior and exterior in well mannered then u must try this place atleast once believe me U won't regret it. I would've to appreciate for my overall stay, the hospitability of staff, decoration of hotel premises, sitting area at 1st floor and of course on roof top is quite peaceful. Thanks!!

I wasn't there that long due to flight change,however we was greeted by friendly staff,there is good shower facilities, iron,safe,laundry service and a great rooftop atmosphere to have a few beers and 😌 relax

Very friendly and attentive staff. They were happy to assist and make recommendations about what to do/see in Kathmandu. Their breakfast is very nice and the architecture of the hotel is beautiful. They have a rooftop restaurant and I was able to walk to Thamel a couple times.
