Dr. Kishor Raj Pradhan performed smart surf on both of my eyes on March 26, 2021. I was first prescribed glasses when I was in grade 5 and after that my life was kind of revolved arround my glasses. Playing a simple outdoor game was a huge struggle. Once I went on a trekking to Annapurna circuit and I broke my glasses in the middle of the trek, I somehow managed to glue my glasses but still missed experiencing many magnificent views. Seeing without glasses for the first time after over 20 years is for me, is one of the most wonderful moment of my life. I found Dr. Kishor Raj Pradhan to be very humble and caring, and its quite amazing that he even remembers small detail about you. Going through all the scanning, surgery and followups at Matrika Eye Center, were stressfree and its surprising how I never have to wait even for half an hour to see the doctor.

Birgunj based Matrika Eye Foundation now started an Eye Hospital here in Kathmandu. Matrika Eye Center run by Dr. Kishor Pradhan, who was the Laser Surgeon at Tilganga Eye Hospital. He is renowned Eye Sorgeon in Nepal.

Service is cheaper and doctors are attentive. But, I have an issue with the reception and online appointment. If online appointment doesn't matter, there's no point on booking the appointment. And if the receptionist cannot Communicate well about the service timings (eg.lunch time) for the first timers, our time gets wasted too. Also for the first timers, it's great to give proper direction. Else, will recommend.

I travelled all the way from Hong Kong to get my surgery done because I've heard good things about this hospital. I was astounded by the service provided, staffs were friendly and cooperative. Nice, clean and inexpensive eye treatment center. Friendly staff and doctors. They have a children's play room which is a real nice touch on their hospitality. Went for follow-up with pediatric and general doctors. Will recommend this eye center to others as well. They should keep up the good work. However, the optical shop is very unprofessional,. They said that it will take 24hrs to provide the glasses but too 72hrs and had to call them many items.

Went there just because of Dr Simanta. He is very kind and professional as a person and as a doctor. Talking about the eye center, it's located at a great accessible spot, clean and vibrant. I find the parking guard more interactive than other staff tho.

One of the best eye hospitals in the valley after Tilganga. The place doesn't get that crowded and they have renowned eye specialists. The service is quick and reliable. Their appointment management system is well managed. The only downside is the parking which is a very small underground parking and it can fill up too quickly during peak hours.

In matrika hospital we got painless lesure sergury. All doctors and staffs are cooperative and polite. They provide us luxurious sofa for waiting.

Worst place to get eyes checkup and surgery. Ruined eyesight and eye health after surgery. No urgency by the hospital to prioritize patients who had surgery recently. Had to wait two hours for follow up as they prioritize “reports”. The worst part is the eye had infection for months and yet they said everything was fine. If i could give 0 stars i would.

Yes Tilganga eye hospital is very famous for eyeshospital.But it's take very long time to check up there,who really doesn't have enough time,please go to check up at Matrika Eye Center locted at old Baneswhore,only 350rs for check up and all systems are digital only take 2hrs for making your glass,first attraction is last when I enter the lobby looks not 5star hotel catogerie because why I am saying this because I am working at Tourism sector.If you really know the value of time then please go there

My surgery was done by Dr. Yogita and she was very attentive and reassuring the procedure. The surgery was done very quickly and no pain at all, bonus, you get chocolates too.
