Definitely one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants in Kathmandu. The food is great, place is clean, portions are good. It's worth the money. I won't be going anywhere else to have Chinese. You know the Chinese food is authentic when you see lots of Chinese customers there! Hotopot is their speciality. It gets a bit crowded during peak hours, service might be a little slow.

This place is one of my fav Chinese restaurants in Kathmandu. Food tastes great, very good service and very good ambience. Parking available for both cars n bikes but its a bit small (can be managed). Good place to visit with friends, family and for couples as well.

PS: FOOD HERE IS THE BEST only if you get what you ordered with staffs who have a smile on their face. Who brings a pork momo on order of chicken for one who never ate pork in life??? 😏 Poorest of the service in any eatery I ever visited, very lame staffs, specially a waitress and a waiter among the ones who served us were not kind and welcoming at all, very rude responses. Like you don't feel like being served from the same set of staffs again. I rather prefer a little less delicious food than such unwelcoming people serving. We had to wait until the food was already overcooked till we got the bowl to eat after individually asking each of the five waiters there to get us THE BOWL. They brought wrong soup base ignoring what was ordered. Pork momo in order of chicken and yes they said it was chicken until found out it was pork after eating 🧐 Improve your hospitality and improve your order-delivery, food is great 👍

A place for Chinese hot pot in Kathmandu. You can get spicy food if you prefer spicy 🔥 They also have a good option of veg cuisines, with mild spiciness. Some dishes have low salt but you can add according to your preference. I liked the sweet chicken dish with rice. This place is suitable for small to medium gatherings. They have a parking spot as well. Good service and ambience. You get good food at an affordable price.

Beautiful, clean place, located in Narayanchaur. The food was okay. Separate induction for hotpot. They had several choices for hotpot including seafood. The selection of sauce ingredients made the hotpot special. Service was good. We didn't make any reservations as we were a small group. The food was on the table in short time. Overall it was okay. Good place for family and friends. Limited parking space. We got lucky ! Recommended dish besides the hotpot is the spicy fried chicken( with lots of dried chilli).

Tasty food, good service, nice ambience. Affordable prices the oby thing that we didn't like was we didn't receive the bill and when asked they said you can only get the VAT bill we agreed and got it. People will pay the VAT bill so issue the bill right away

Went on thursday hoping it wont be as crowded, it was still packed, good thing i had made reservation in their private room. Food was great, service was slow, i had to keep calling them for very basics like spoons, bowels etc. All the starters were tasty. Hot pot turned quite messy.

Waited 25 minutes just to get menu and almost hour for foods. Ordered spicy fried chicken, 80% of portion was dried chili. I found customer service extremely poor however the ambience was good.

Always love the foods and services. We always enjoy talking in round table. Best snacks to try if you love spices like me; cold buff, fungi mushroom, sweet and sour pork/ chicken fillet, brinjal dish, fish, etc. Basically its a really good place to enjoy food and spend time..

Great service and staff. However , some menu items are over priced compared to non-veg items. Hotpot experience is good but, sichuan 四川 style hotpot option could be added for couples . Shared hotpot is definitely better.

Place: Clean and cozy Food: 5/5 Price: A little expensive than the expectation. In terms of a Chinese hotpot place this is a good one. They have wide range of options to choose from and serve it fresh and well. The was slightly higher than the expectation. The rest is good.

Haopin Hotpot , very authentic chinese restaurant , I was amaze to see all the fresh ingredients the use to cook , if you come with your friends and family you must try the HOTPOT here !!! I kipping coming back , multiple lunch , multiple dinner , I try lots of dish from the menu' cart , very happy with all my orders!!! Order also the HOTPOT with a very good friend of me , very happy about the choice and the experience!!! The real Chinese Food , BEST RESTAURANT so far in Kathmandu, nothing to compare with other chinese restaurant that I try in Tamel and in Naxal area , I 'm real enjoy good food and good drink , very please to found this restaurant , I real enjoy my lunches and my dinners !!!! Night time the restaurant is very busy and very cozy , lunch time you can also enjoy the garden , very ideal place for groups of friends, family's , couple or even alone when you fill like a big plate of real nice spare ribs ,restaurant staff very professional and very friendly , they real know how to welcome you.....I recommended this restaurant 1000% ...thank you Haopin , I would come back soon to Nepal and for shore back to Haopin restaurant !!!

Best place for chinese food, they have smoking zone as well as quite and delicous food. they have Parking space available and large number of dish collection. i like their interior and place is over all amazing.

As per all the reviews of Haopin below, however i find the service quiet good and didn't had to wait for a long period of time. Everything was well managed. The dishes were served in time. Most importantly, loved the induction where only two can enjoy hotpot as well unlike other places we have to order a large portion or order with 4-6 people. If your craving for hotpot and don't have enough company, then this is the perfect place for hotpot and suitable for large groups as well.

One of my fav restaurants in KTM. Buzzing ambience to go with quality food. The service might be late if the place is busy. Ask for Tofu Skin Salad and sweet fillet chicken to have it with a rice bowl. It's their best seller.

I went there for the first time. Right from the entry,i found the ambience very nice. We tried various dishes but I loved the Hot Pot there. Other foods were also good as well. One of the fine Chinese restaurant in town for sure 🙂

Food is tasty. But they should understand the sequence of food delivery to the table. Bringing the salad at last though it was ordered first doesn't make sense.

One of the best Sichuan cuisine available in Kathmandu. They serve green tea to all the guests arriving here. We had spicy and non spicy hotpot. Dishes to be added to hotpot can be ordered according to one preferences , it takes a while to get these dishes. The food is good and so is service. We were expecting a lot spicy but it was not the case may be we should have asked waiters to make it more spicy. Even spicy fried chicken was not so spicy but taste was good. Only issue here is with parking as it is small space, where you can fit your two wheelers but it is difficult for four wheelers but they have staff who helps you with the parking.

Disappointed. The noodles she were bland. The fish was too sweet and the mushroom tasted like stale oil

The atmosphere here is very cozy and spacious with multiple floors, the staff they are friendly and very attentive. The best part is the food, I've tried few different places for Szechuan cuisine this place is by far the best in terms of taste, portions, presentations and the cleanliness.

Visited with my parents who are new to hot pot. The place was packed with people however the server got us a table quickly without any reservation. Its better to make a reservation. The food selection is good esp the hot meals. The hotpot was an OK for me. I loved their pork delicacies and the fungus mushroom appetiser. The meal was served within 5mins of placing an order but to place an order, you really have to make yourself notice to the server as they are real busy. My dad had asked for ice with his drink which was missing and despite requesting it for 4 times, it never came. The hospitality is good but they need more servers for an on time service without any mishap.

Hao pin hotpot. Best in town. You love original hotpot and spicy food you must come to try the food you love it. Beautiful sitting area. Nice ambiance. You feel like out of town.

One of the finest Chinese Restaurants in town. They offer authentic chinese food and Hotpot. Little crowded and most of the time requires pre-booking. They do not have their own parking, you will have to adjust road side which is pretty ok during the evening. Good Service Staffs and Family environment. They have couple of closed room arrangements as well otherwise most of the space is open hall type and outdoor.

Food is very average. I ordered a bowl of Spinach Tofu soup. They got me a BIG pan of soup. I wasn't sure whether to drink it or wash my face with it.

The food here never disappoints but i wanted to try the egg drop seaweed soup. Now that was just bland with no salt just plain broth with few seaweed and some egg drops. Other than that the rest of the Chinese food was made to perfection!!
