In the midst of busy city Nomad hotel is one of a kind. The ambiance here is so calm and relaxing at the same time the staffs are very welcoming. My room was so cozy and i felt extremely comfortable during my stay. Food was awesome. Two restaurants did not disappoint with their food and service. Certainly a place to be recommended. Would be back again.

The apartment rooms with Balcony and the Italian restaurant Piano Piano were substantially superb for the cost. Great Italian wine selections in the menu to go perfectly with the food and romantic ambiance.

The stay was good, the place intentionally practices sustainable and environmental friendly products. A bit expensive for the size though. Breakfast and dinner was the best part.

It’s very nice and clean hotel. Nice decor spacious room. All staff are very polite and service is excellent. My favorite spot drinking coffee every morning at the front courtyard. Will visit again as location is very easy for commute.

Friendly staff, great location, amazing breakfast and dinner at Piano Piano is like eating out in italy! 10min walking from Thamel, but this hotel is nice and quiet. Beautiful design!

Gorgeous boutique hotel set in a quiet and artsy side of Kathmandu. Gourmet restaurant and room service with fine dining options and an extensive wine list. Garden restaurant is great for coffee and breakfast. Reception and restaurant staff are very professional and highly skilled. Rooms are filled with extras like local tea and organic soap. Television has hundreds of options. Nomad hotel is highly recommended and surprisingly affordable. 🏆🇳🇵

Very modern hotel a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Thamel. Thanks to the many taxis on site, you don't have to do everything on foot. The staff is very friendly and professional, the rooms clean and the bed comfortable. Unfortunately, our room 102 was disturbed by the hum of the kitchen ventilation of the hotel's own restaurant. But as soon as the kitchen was finished, it was nice and quiet in the room.

We met friends for coffee there so I cannot comment on the rooms. The restaurant transports you out of dusty Kathmandu to a cafe in Europe. A nice brief, break. The best part is it’s an easy 20-25 minute walk from overcrowded Thamel. Oh! My latte were perfect.

This is a very well designed hotel. The interiors are super chic and trendy, plenty of unique decor pieces and ambient lighting. I enjoyed the restaurant food, seating area and overall menu selection. It’s also a fantastic location at Lazimpat

A stylish, cosmopolitan boutique hotel for the urban nomad with a cozy contemporary Italian restaurant on the ground floor. Nomad is a place where you can come and meet other like-minded explorers. I stayed at Nomad for one night and my stay was amazing! The team was so helpful as I needed to check in very late. I also loved the design of the hotel and the rooms. They were very clean. I’ve only just returned home to India and am already looking forward to returning for my next visit!! Thank you to the entire team for the exceptional stay.

My partner and I stayed at Nomad for over a week and we really enjoyed our experience. The staff were very friendly, well mannered and respectful. The waitresses even remembered what we liked and didn't like on the menu. They were so attentive. And we would like to give a shoutout to Koshis! He was so gentle and approachable and was willing to help us whenever we needed some assistance. Will definitely come back and stay at Nomad again. Thank you to the amazing team at Nomad. You're doing so well and should be proud of the service you're providing to all of us. Scott & Dip.

I am not booking no other place than Nomad. Rather on the quite side of the city this place is very contempt and contemporary. Staff were absolutely amazing and managed our anniversary so well. Thanks Nomad and I can’t wait to see you again!

The worst experience ever, the hotel is infested with insects, I reached late so I slept and closed the toilet door, when I woke up, I opened the door and hives of insects flied all over the place, I calle room service they said they would call pest control then the receptionist offered to give me another roon, I stayed there one night, I found a bug bite in the morning, I didn't know what it was, then the mext morning I woke up with so many itchy bites all over my body! I told the receptionist they did mothing and I had to leave losing the money for the rest if the nights I paid and above all they had the audacity to ask me for extra money for washing my clothes, which I did pqy and left!! Worst place ever, do not even think of booking there if you plan to have a safe and nice trip!

First review: I stayed there on a professional trip to Kathmandu in June 2023, and I needed to be close to the French Embassy, which is why I gave it 5 stars as far as the location is concerned (this criteria might differ where other travelers are concerned). The hotel is tastefully decorated, the staff is nice, the prices are correct and the Italian restaurant makes some of the best pizzas I have ever tasted, Italy included (I wasn't impressed by Roman cuisine). The reason why I am not giving 5 stars to the room is that A/C units are sometimes wrongly located, as it was in my room, which is to say blowing directly on the bed. This prevented me from using it as a consequence and ended up kind of ruining my sleep. I do recommend booking that hotel, however, since the pros largely outweigh the cons. Second review: I went back for a couple of days in December 2023. The hotel is apparently under new management/ownership. It is still ok but several things had gone downhill, which is why I downgraded service and overall evaluations from 5 to 4 stars. The hotel maintenance in general seems less professional, the breakfast which used to be great is now a small buffet with limited choice, and the prices have gone up. The Italian restaurant is still as good though. But I'm not sure I'll go back if the prices remain that high. other hotels nearby might now offer a better quality for money ratio, like the Tibet for instance, according to some of my friends.

Was here for a stopover night. The courtyard was a peaceful break from the bustle of Kathmandu. The rooms we nicely appointed with the quirks of Nepal (electrical wires running along the wall). Staff were lovely, there were a couple that had some great knowledge and were very helpful. Restaurant was delicious too.

Loved it here! An excellent hotel beside several other hotels including the popular Radisson. Minimal vibes with a modern touch, I believe the hotel is not more than 4-5 years old. We lived in 3 different rooms as we had an extended stay here. We had an incident on one of the nights and the hotel management was overly generous is assisting in fixing the problem and also upgrading us. The breakfasts are very good, not many choices but superb regardless. The staff and management go beyond their way to help, very friendly and always smiling. Rooms are great, bathrooms are a little smaller than rooms of that size but didn’t impact our stay. There are great little shops you can shop from in the alley. I feel there’s a lot of value for the amount you pay for so lots of props to the hotel for not inflating the prices. Thamel which is a great shopping and tourist spot is a 20 mins walk or 5 mins drive. I would definitely recommend, would visit again for sure. Thanks for the great stay!

Location is good, in Lazimpat, embassy place, safe, walking distance to tourism places(you know Kathmandu is not big). The hotel is very new, clean, the interior decoration is north-European style, neat, and home feeling. Hotel price is quite reasonable. I was thinking to book another chain-store hotel as I never heard nomad before, luckily I made the correct choice. Lower price and even better room here. What surprised me is the food. I come here in lockdown period, for safety consideration, I just eat in hotel's restaurant. I seriously don't have any expectations at the beginning. They mainly provide Italian food, it's quite authentic. I get to know the owner of this hotel also owns a few restaurants: Old House, Le Sherpa, La Casita...maybe more, I am not sure. So you can expect the food quality here would be nice. One more thing I want to mention is the employees here are very friendly. I especially want to thank Eren. I met some issue here, the information in igm report the hospital provided is not clear, it might affect me to take the flight, he helps me to solve it. Very helpful!

Very attentive staff with good connection with hospitals. Very helpful for Covid test at Hams hospital during this surge of case overhelming hospital testing facility.

Nomad Hotel at Lazimpat is a very beautiful designed hotel. Very modern, simple and elegant with very friendly staff! Best thing about hotel is its location! Many things to do around the area. Thamel and Durbar Marg is in walking distance! Love the vibes there!!

Honestly, do not waste your time searching for another hotel in Kathmandu. Nomad Hotel is the very best you'll find. We ended up staying here for a whole month - staff we super nice to us and made sure we were comfortable throughout our whole stay. The hotel and the rooms are exceptionally designed, amazing working space (both in the room and the downstairs area), great wi-fi all around the hotel and exceptional hot showers (Fantastic water pressure and the hot water never ever stops) .... Even the area of the hotel (Lazimpat) is fantastic, with a mix of western and local food choices, great bars (for pool table go to Jazz Upstairs bar). Definitely a 10/10 and hope to have the chance to visit and stay again! <3 <3

I only had breakfast here, but what a breakfast! It was extremely good, best I've had for a long time. Good coffee, fresh fruit and a good choice of 'mains'.

I will start by saying I was just really relieved to get a hotel room that was clean, modern and had a SOFT BED! A strange rarity in Kathmandu. The place is nicely done. Staff are friendly and professional. Breakfast was good with a number of different options. The restaurant looked nice and the staff there were very professional as well. A little noisy in my room with the restaurant downstairs (but not late into the night) and the air conditioner made a very bright light in the room, so I couldn’t use it to sleep. No room service menu. However all up, I appreciated this hotel and would recommend it to others.

Ambience was good, food was okayish Accidently one wine glass was broken and they charged very high price which was unreasonable for just one glass.

Wonderful place, I definitely recommend it. The space and accommodation are beautifully designed and very relaxing for the middle of Kathmandu. The restaurant is delicious with a variety of options for all dietary requirements (vege, gluten free, etc..) and the staff were very helpful. Will be returning...

Very nice service. Personal attention to the guests. As the hotel is situated in the heart of the city, shopping is no problem as they have very good shops on the main road itself. The stay in the hotel is very comfortable.
