Room was nice and simple Small balcony available TV options Bathroom is small but clean Hot water kettle and instant coffees available Staff friendly and professional Laundry services 50 baht/Kg Transportation- Smart Bus stop near Big C Kamala Takes you up snd down the west coast beach towns (100 baht) Or buy a multi-day pass for discounts Not easy to get to and from Old Town Phuket (expensive car or moto taxi) I had cone for the Jae vegan festival but sadly discovered NO Jae restaurants or festivities in this area. No vegan options here. For this reason, I would not stay in Kamala again. There is a small night market within across from the Big C. The beach is quiet and has many shops and eats to offer. Really enjoyed my stay here. Baan Kamala might appear basic on the outside, but the rooms are nicely equipped and very clean. I had a great view of the surrounding mountains off my balcony, and housekeeping was almost magic, leave the room for 10 minutes in the morning and you’ll come back to fresh towels and a made bed.

Large rooms with balcony for moderate price. Distance to the beach is approximately 5 minutes. Shops and bars nearby. Overall good value for money.

Very nice experience staying in the dorm! It was a 4 beds room with curtains. The hotel is clean and housekeeping was coming everyday to clean the room and organise our beds! The staff was lovely and very helpful. Location is great, only a few minutes from the beach, restaurant and supermarket. I recommend!

They couldn't find my reservation when I got there. It seemed very complicated to get me a bed in an almost empty hostel... Dorm is ok for the price.

Wonderful hotel with friendly staff! I was welcomed with the receptionist, he gave me some fresh cold drink and took my baggage upstairs. Anytime when I needed help employees were happy to do it. The hotel is not so far from the sea, 10-15 minutes by foot. The rooms are big with some furniture, big fridge and balcony.

Staff are very friendly. It’s comfortable and they provide housekeeping everyday. But my room was just…dirty. My room had squished mosquitos on the wall, gecko droppings all over the ceiling, cockroach in the shower and it was clearly only ever cleaned in a superficial manner/whatever was within arm’s reach. The higher I looked up the walls, the dirtier it got. Location is great, the staff are nice and if they clean the rooms properly it would be a great hotel to stay in.
