During my trip to Patong I stayed at the property and I had a truly amazing stay. My room had direct access to the pool and the property is perfect to explore the area. You can easily access the main shopping areas and the beach is less than 10 minutes away. I have also had the chance to experience the Spa for a traditional Thai massage which was a great way to recover from the long trip from Europe. Every week they have a delicious Seafood buffet that I enjoyed with some friends, and we all loved the experience. From fresh seafood to delicious Thai cuisine, you have it all.

We are getting ready to leave our 4 night stay at this hotel. I will start with the positives Reception area and staff great. The breakfast has the best variety and selection for any nationalities and I like the fact you get shown a table . Pool area good and you can change your towels daily at the pool bar . Staff throughout this hotel are superb. 5 minutes walk and you are at the beach ( never went on it so cannot comment about the price of sunbeds) If you want a back massage etc we used the ladies on the beach . Plenty of good places to eat . Now the negative If you have a swim up pool booked I hope you don’t get room 119 although room nice the outside was in the shade all day and we found our room quite dark , so in order to sunbathe we had to sit by the pool which defeats the object really , and please dont think the space in front is just for you the children and parents take a liking to play and swim in front of all the swim up rooms as well. We only had 6 coat hangers so bring your own , not a lot of storage so most of our clothes stopped in the suitcase . I would return to this hotel but definitely not room 119. Ps what ever clothing you think you need halve it you really don’t need it .

This is a beautiful hotel! It’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home. We’re in town for a 15 night's after well deserved holiday. Julie the manager made our trip even more memorable with a swift and excellent service. Hotel exceeded my expectations was spotless the staff was amazing and the most comfortable 1 bedroom villa.

I was excited to stay in this 5-star hotel on 05/08/2022 - 08/08/2022 as a first timer exploring Phuket. I must say that this hotel is huge and beautiful. Staffs were kind and friendly to greet a warmth welcome with a drink and face towel for freshen up. Stayed in room #233, it was clean and spacious with bath tub and balcony for an indoor view. Sofa pillow was a little bit smelly. Breakfast buffets included every morning. There are Halal and Vegetarian food without any worries. Only that Halal food was placed near to non-halal buffets (Some people might be particular about this). Not to mention about the fresh fruit juice station too, it was superb! Highly recommended!

This is a good 4 star hotel as everyone else said. The stay was average to good, with both good and average experience. The rooms are small with namesake balconies. But you get a good view of pool from any room. The pool is good and staff are friendly. But there were few occasions where housekeeping knocked on the door although the DND light was ON 😊 I would recommend if you get a good deal online and try the pool access rooms. The breakfast food is amazing for vegetarians as well. The location is not far from centre of Phuket.

Our stay at the Hotel Mercure was perfect. We spent 4 nights over there and we had an excellent experience. The breakfast is amazing (too much good choices, hard to decide what to eat) the staff is very helpful and always available (big thanks to Noom, one of the best staff I never met) and the infrastructure is beautiful. The location is very good as well, I didn’t expect more ! If you still hesitate, do not !!!

My husband and I just returned from a seven night stay in a pool villa at Grand Mercure. When you book a suite, pool access, or a pool villa you get access to their Club Room. A great place to go in the afternoon for a coffee and a snack. We are returning customers and what really impressed me was the food and the service. The staff is incredible. They work very hard to anticipate your every need. The breakfast buffet is one of the best in Patong. They make fresh juices every morning and a delicious assortment of cuisine's. We also used the spa and loved it. Thank you, Coconut. The pool and grounds were well kept. Sita at the front desk was quick to offer a day trip to Paradise Beach. Just five minutes away. This location is fantastic. We walked everywhere. The hotel arranged our Covid tests . There is one thing every guest has in common, no one wants to leave. They make you feel like family and spoil you rotten.

The hotel is very nice and beautiful. I had a very good 7 days stay with my wife here. They have very good and kind staff. There is a very comfortable detours with different beach and places. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Finally, I am grateful for the good management of the hotel.

How this is rated a 5-star hotel, I do not know. Upon arrival, the bed sheets and upholstered furniture smelt musty and felt damp. We switched the air con on and hoped that would help. When we returned to the room after a couple hours and the whole room had a damp, musty smell (the candle they’d hidden under the luggage rack had blown out to reveal the actual smell of the room). When we opened the guest information book it was covered in patches of mould, and then, after hanging our clothes up a couple hours earlier, discovered that the wardrobe, too, had patches of mould around the bottom. A massive health issue, especially for those with respiratory problems, and just plain unacceptable for a so-called ‘luxury’ hotel. We went down to reception and explained the issue, yet they *seemed* to be unaware of any such issues as damp. The member of staff didn’t apologise, he just asked if we wanted to change rooms and spent a while talking on the phone and with colleagues trying to arrange it. We were moved to a smaller room, despite the inconvenience caused by moving in the first place because of an issue that was not our fault. Again, the room was damp. It was late at night so we had little choice but to stay in the room - plus it seemed like every room would have the same issue by this point. We asked for a dehumidifier in the morning, but again they acted as though they didn’t understand our request or the issue we were addressing. However, funnily enough, a few hours later upon our return from an excursion, huge dehumidifier machine was running in our room - the water tank already full. What further consolidates this is that we actually joined two family members at this hotel who, upon us telling them we would have to move rooms because of damp, told us that they also had to move rooms because of issues with damp (their second room already had a dehumidifier in it!). This proves that the hotel DOES in fact know there is a damp problem, but made us feel like we were the first people to ever mention it when we addressed them. (I can now see from other reviews that we were indeed not the first people to experience these issues.) When contacting Agoda regarding the issues faced during our stay, the hotel responded that we had never addressed the issue with the hotel directly… a complete and utter lie considering we had to change rooms and make requests for a dehumidifier! I would definitely avoid this hotel and find somewhere else that isn’t full of damp and mould… I have attached photos to exemplify all of this so that others can make a more informed decision.

Stayed at the hotel for 6 nights - it’s a nice hotel although the rooms could need some refurnishing and improved lighting. On paper it’s a 5 star hotel but more like 4 star in European standard. Had a pair of gym gloves that also disappeared from the room, which is a pity. The breakfast was really nice though and the pool and lounge area are also very nice! Staff is very friendly and a shout out to Kat in the reception that helped us with several things during our stay.

Excellent rooms with great ambience and superb quality. I took superior/standard room and still had great balcony view on pool side plus bath tub. Quality of fittings/fixtures, linen and bedding is fantastic. Loved the experience. Service could be a little faster and they charge 1000 THB per person as a refundable security deposit. Overall, highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Grand Mercure. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from Bangla road. Great massage and eating places just nearby. Despite being quite central, the hotel feels like a quiet heaven and the swimming pool area is really nice, with a pool bar in the water! And Grand Mercure has for sure the best breakfast in town! Wide array of various breakfast foods, from omelets to pancakes, local desserts, curries, cheeses, pastries, etc. Loved it! The staff is also incredibly kind and caring...

What a great place to stay. We had 1 and 2 bedroom villa’s and these were perfect. Feels peaceful and luxury, yet the location is right downtown Patong. Staff was all fabulous, and very helpful, especially Betty and Bird man. Breakfast in the morning was great way to start the day. Would definitely stay here anytime in Patong, this location, quality and luxury can’t be beat. Thanks guys!

The hotel is nice and clean in general. Services from staffs are not bad and polite. However they tried to go digital through an app needed to download to our phone for all services communication like ordering food, in room service and chatting for help with the staffs over the app are very much terrible. I’ve ordered both in room Dining and to send me some vanity and also messages to the staffs, none responded nor reply. Lucky I’m clever not to wait for too long for their response and call them straight through the phone, to my horror, they gave the reason of not receiving the notifications from their own app! The in room basic items you would expect from a villa which I booked, are lack of many. Items like soap scrub pad, cotton wool or Bud, comb, bath salts and etc are not provided at all, they do not have it in the hotel too. The shaver provided is lousier than the budget hotel is giving. Overall I still give it a 3 stars rating as the overall environment is still good for me. But the rest like I written above, it’s something I experienced first hand and is an honest review I gave and hope they read and improve on it.

When our group arrived at this resort were happy to enjoy the hospitality of the cool towels and refreshing passion fruit drinks during check-in! This hotel was in a great location to May of the street vendors and the Main Street with all the other hotels and shopping options! I enjoyed the open lobby and I would sleep there because my internal clock was off and it was so peaceful and comfortable! The rooms were spacious..the customer service was excellent and I enjoyed the ‘walk ability’ to all the local shops! I recommend highly!

A very comfortable stay. The facilities are very nice and the customer service is very good. Jasmin was a standout, she looked after us at meal times and would go out of her way to check in on our stay. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk and the main shopping streets are right on the door step. Happy hour is buy one get one free. Cocktails are around 260 baht. I would stay again.

Stayed in a few hotels on our 15 night stay visiting Thailand, this hotel was our favourite by far. Perfect position, Staff were very welcoming, hotel was lovely and clean. Big thank you to the ladies that clean the rooms! (Who always seem to be missed on reviews) Breakfast was the best we had throughout our 15 nights stay, fresh fruit juice, pancakes etc. Beautiful hotel, definitely with a visit. I guess the only downside if you like sun by the pool you don’t get a lot as the hotel surrounds the pool area. but the beach is only 10mins away and the sea is lovely and warm in January.

We stayed in a deluxe swim out suite. The suite was lovely. Room service food was of excellent quality and the breakfast buffet had a variety of food options. The highlight of the stay was the spa service. I highly recommend booking yourself in for a spa treatment. Overall a very relaxing stay. I would stay here again!

Professionally run with friendly staff. Excellent international selection at Breakfast. Location was perfect for shopping and short walk to beach. The Club Lounge Access was a very nice additive for day use (11am - 5pm) with savoury & sweet snacks, together with hot & non-alcoholic cold refreshments available for your pleasure.

😇RECOMMENDED♥️ We stayed for one night and the staff was amazing, always nice and smiling with the great Thai service. The room (suite) was large, top floor and with nice views. Dinner was nice and the breakfast with extensive very large food types and including live cooking.

This review has been amended after discussion with management team. The service from the general manager Sebastian and Nas the front office manager provided incredible assistance and understanding to our situation and helped us find a suitable place to stay. Their care and empathy has certainly changed our experience significantly. Breakfast has an outstanding spread and quality is the best we’ve had in Phuket. Across the road there are a couple of food stands to eat at. — We booked a 4 night stay with 2 rooms for our toddler and elderly great grandparent. The initial check in service was great including a nice welcome drink. When we got to our rooms, we were presented with a strong weed smell in both rooms, the stronger smelling room with our toddler. We requested a change of room and they obliged, providing another room without a bathtub, with an even stronger weed smell. We had to then request to smell the next room before we commit to changing. The hotel staff mentioned that some guests smoke in the rooms, which are supposed to be non smoking. This level of cleanliness is not what I expect from a 5 star hotel. I initially considered the room rating to be a 1 star, however, have amended due to the assistance we had to change rooms.

Very nice hotel. Kind people work there. I have access to a small, but very cute lounge. Different kind of coffee, juice, water, soft drinks, cheese, olives, salad, small sandwiches, fruit and some sweets were available.

5 star for sure. All across the board from the front desk staff, housekeeping and best of all the staff at the restaurant. All so very nice and welcoming. Breakfast buffet is a good spread from pastries, salad, Thai food and some Indian food. The themed dinner buffets were also good, especially the local food buffet. Spa staff was very knowledgeable and we got a couple massages there. Not the cheapest but the facilities were clean and nice. Room was nice also , poolside.

Wonderful place to stay! Breakfast buffet, gym and spa everything that you want. Walking distance to shops and markets. Friendly staff and were extremely accommodating to our needs. Rooms were very clean and staff were very helpful. Will definitely be back.

Really, really nice hotel. From the moment we pulled up to the moment we left the service was excellent. Room was comfortable but could have done with a few touch ups here and there but nothing major. The mattress was too hard for me and so were the pillows but this is personal preference and it didn’t stop me from getting 8+ hours sleep a night 🤣 rooms were cleaned daily and to a high spec. Air con worked brilliant throughout the stay and breakfast was always lovely and plentiful! The pool is heated and so so nice, definitely my favourite part. I’d 100% come again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our trip to Phuket so wonderful!

Overall decent! Good location, decent place, room pretty decent. However quite a bit of insects but again this was due to the location too and the heat. The staff was nice however we did have an issue with them checking us in, it was all included in a package where we got picked up from the airport but when we arrived at the hotel we had to wait 2 hrs until we got the room, and we had just come from a long flight. Felt like the hotel should have prepared the room earlier considering they knew our flight timings and had sent a driver to pick us up. Otherwise the interior is nice and the welcome juice is amazing.

We stayed back in February and it was fabulous. Highly recommend getting the breakfast in package which was phenomenal every morning, also recommend the seafood buffet they put on, value for money there. Unfortunately we got a my drinks package with our booking thinking it was valid for the full trip but was for only one day and to make things worse we misplaced one of the vouchers but the hotel was not very helpful in this situation. Only downer in what was a magical vacation.

Such a great stay, I felt very welcome from the day I check-in to the hotel, great hospitality, and excellent customer service. We enjoyed the complimentary lounge, but it would be greater if the lounge can serve some alcohol drinks. We enjoy the breakfast as well, especially the fresh juice station. Hotel has great swimming pool and nice lobby lounge. We enjoy the moment in hotel.

  • 4/5 Bob M. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is very good overall. Though in my opinion is a little outdated and not fully 5 star worthy in some rooms/villa’s. The staff is very good and helpful. We booked the small villa’s. There were some problems, eg. the locks were old and ‘falling out of the door’, some charger ports were not working well, the roof in the yard was dirty and sun couldn’t shine through it (caused very humid). Luckily the staff changed our villa to a better one. This one was very nice. This is definitely better and worthy of the 5 stars. Facilities are fine, there are enough wellness and enjoyment things in the hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed here as part of Thailand’s sandbox program and had a great experience. The concierge desk was so nice and helped us organize our Morchana app (COVID tracing app that was mandatory at the time), the room was the cleanest room I’ve stayed in during my entire month vacation around Thailand. The room was fairly big and had a nice view overlooking their pool. The breakfast was incredible, it’s a buffet with lots of options. It’s only about a 10 minute walk from the beach too. Would come back for sure, 10/10 recommend!

Stayed for a week, had great time. Very good service, nice breakfast and very friendly kind staff. They were great with my son and friends. Would recommend to stay here whoever is visiting Patong, Phuket. Close with the beach and markets, within walking distance. I loved the kids zone and babysitting service, for travelers with babies and kids would recommend the kids zone

We are sad to be leaving today. Everything about our stay surpassed our expectations. 1. Staff are friendly, efficient and only too happy to help. 2. We had a pool access room (#107), which was amazing. We could have a dip any time of the day or night. 3. The breakfast buffet each day was incredible. Fresh juices and cappuccinos were a hit and the selection of food was amazing. 4. The location is perfect! Close enough to walk to everything, but far enough away to be a peaceful oasis. 5. The pool and swim up bar. Happy hour 4-6pm. Nice daily ritual to order cocktails and some food after a day of shopping and sightseeing.
