Disappointing. The rooms are not like in the pictures, it’s misleading at best. The whole wooden decor is rotting and smells. The entire hotel looks as if it’s froze in time and left to decay. Even the floors tiles are chipped and mismatched with color. AC is dripping non stop without actual fix. Stuff was friendly but unfortunately could not help. Will not recommend in any way.

Nice spacious rooms. Good hot water showers. Air conditioned. Lots of storage space. Has a sit out area to lazily watch the clouds and mountains. Very peaceful & relaxing. Breakfast is decent. Limited vegetarian options - but can still have a hearty vegetarian breakfast!

Staff was friendly, room was clean. We had the room with the breakfast included. It was typical of what I've seen in Thailand for breakfast. Eggs, toast chicken sausage boiled rice or noodles. Fruit was watermelon and pineapple sometimes dragon fruit was available. Coffee tea and juice orange and pineapple. Swimming pool was inviting and large. It wasn't to far off a walk to the beach I just didn't pay attention to how long it took to walk there as there are many distractions that dude tracked me along the way. I'll guess 15 minutes. I would stay here again. The area was quiet. The down side would have to be the water pressure in the room. Somedays it wasn't good.

I would have given 5 stars except that the housekeeping was strange near the end of my stay. Variable quantities of coffee/sugar/etc, missing towel and not refilling the empty soap dispenser. There is plenty of everything in the vicinity of the hotel but it is quite a long way from the beach and Walking Street. I really liked the room, pool and the grounds. Breakfast was not good.

One of the worst places that you can stay in Phuket. Don’t get fooled by the photos they have uploaded on Google. The rooms are nowhere near to them. They have no basic idea of cleanliness. The rooms stink and the washrooms are pathetic and dirty. Moreover dirty black water flows through taps in the bathroom. Unfriendly staff add more to the misery. We checked in by around 9:30 in the night and hoped to have dinner at the restaurant in the resort. The uncourteous staff refused to take any order citing that their time for the last order was 9:30pm. Audaciously they asked us to order food on grab. Another instance is where we asked for an additional bottle of water and yet again the same was refused and we were suggested to get it through grab!!! The location of the resort is not that great as well. The surrounding place is dingy and away from the happening part of the city. You could instead look for a good property for the same price at the beach road of Patong beach or Karon Beach. Do yourself a favour by skipping this place. Don’t spoil your vacation by visiting this dungeon.

This resort was great for a week in Phuket. Walking distance to so many great restaurants and Bangla rd. The staff was always helpful and friendly. They also have a nice Cannabis Clinic on site that offers spa treatments in addition to weed. They clean daily which is nice, but don't always clean very deep. Definitely recommend to any solo or couple travelers.

Stayed here a few years ago and honestly a great place to stay at. The staff were so friendly and helpful and at the price I was paying, the room was great! Great value for money and amazing staff! Will definitely try this place out again

When I arrived at the hotel, I noticed that the pictures on the website did not accurately represent the reality. The room had a strong musty odor, indicating moisture issues. The hotel appeared to be old and in need of maintenance. The air conditioning was leaking water, and the shower pressure was too weak, making it difficult to wash my hair. The green spaces around the hotel were not as lush and well-kept as they appeared in the pictures, but they were not terrible either. On the plus side, the pool was enjoyable, and the staff were lovely. The location was convenient, only a 15-minute walk to Bangla Road. I have to give a shout-out to their Burger&chips + drink deal. For a few baht, one can enjoy a great burger if they get tired of Thai food. Breakfast was also pretty good. Overall, the experience could have been better, but it was not a total disappointment. If you are looking for a decent hotel to stay in with a good price and location, without the need for a luxury room, this is a suitable option.

The pictures on the website do not accurately represent the reality. When I entered my room, there was a strong musty odor that indicated issues with moisture. I requested a room change, but unfortunately, the new room had the same problem. It's clear that the hotel is showing its age and is in need of some maintenance. The green spaces around the hotel were not as lush and well-kept as they appeared in the pictures, which was likely the case in the past. On a positive note, the pool was enjoyable, and the hotel staff were decent. The breakfast provided was satisfactory, but overall, my stay left much to be desired due to the condition of the rooms and the discrepancy between the advertised and actual conditions of the hotel.

We changed to this resort before arriving based on the fact the hotel had gardens and looked nicer, honestly I wish that we hadn't... The hotel itself is nice and I would suggest to people that it isn't a place you shouldnt visit however this is our experience. Visiting in October the gardens had been trimmed, no big deal, the rooms are nice, a good size and nice bathrooms however after being here for 8 days with another 3 to go, we have had to ask for fresh towels multiple times, the bedding has yet to be changed and they clearly are not wiping down the sides, at best we think they sweep the floor and make the bed with the same bedding we have slept in for over a week. At first we thought, perhaps they are conservative and change the bedding/towels perhaps once a week which is perfectly fine, obviously not the case.... When you arrive you get a box of tissues and a roll of loo roll, something I don't mind being without after spending motnhs on some other Thai islands however my partner who prefers it has used other toilets because we have never been given a second roll. The cleaners when they do turn up to do only God knows what either can't hear you when knocking on the door or don't understand no thankyou as they walked into my friends room while she is laid on the bed naked. The gym, don't come for it, 6 dumbbells of random weights, 1 rusty treadmill and a cycling machine, no issue for me as I'm not using it however overheard people complaining as they chose this hotel because it had a gym The pool is nice, tables and chairs in the pool if you fancy a drink in it but right next to the car park which is also home to one of the muay thai stadiums, yep, busy.... Most days the car park isn't too bad, sometimes it isn't relaxing at all and unfortunately at one end of the pool all you hear is the electricity crackling from the junction box which I can only assume is faulty as I haven't heard it at other boxes (not the hotels fault I would assume) Cleanliness around the hotel is alright however there have been empty beer bottles by the side of the pool for days.... Overall while this review is negative I again would say don't be put off coming to the hotel, it looks nice and the staff are pleasent, it's just the hotel needs to change minor things to make it better.

Thee staff was great. Service minded and trying to help.. Swimmingpool in good shape. Spacious rooms. Bed hard as hell and might cause problems for some. Wi-Fi sucks and really slow Water filter not good so use of bathtub a little sandy. Training/workout facility not possible This hotel does its best but struggling with long time needed upgrades. Value for money is okay

Nice place, for breakfast you need to wake up a bit earlier, helpful staff. If you do not like to smell cigarette smokes, loud drunk parties ask your room to be as far as possible from ruzzians.

We had an amazing and relaxing time at this hotel! The spa was brilliant and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the air conditioning, it was quite loud and found it difficult sleeping with the noise - a small manual on how to use the air conditioning remote would’ve been helpful.

The Rooms are very big but really old and damaged furniture. It's the whole Day Dark. Water is dripping from the AC and the AC is so loud you can't sleep. The TV is not working and from the sink is no water coming out. After 1 Day I changed the Room. Then it was a little bit better. The Breakfast was every Day the same

They had us on the third floor and with no lift that wasn't going to work for my wife with her bad leg so the moved us too the 1st floor as soon as one became available. Thanks Joy for going above and beyond. Breakfast is a typical Thai American style. From My experience they give you fried eggs toast Thai sausage there is rice and it looked like pork with vegetables, it reminds me of a Chinese food dish that the name escaping me just now. Coffee tea juices fruit was fresh watermelon and pineapple

Hotel is very outdated and needs a good clean. The first rooms we were put in were filthy, the sink was hanging off the wall, bedsheets were covered in yellow stains and hair/pubes, all the tiles were broken, the shower screen hadn’t been cleaned in ages and the shower was mouldy, the safe could be opened with a ice lolly stick & the doors don’t lock properly, the list goes on… When we spoke to reception they were quite helpful and moved us rooms after asking for a refund although asking about upgrades when we first arrived and were told there were none available. We were moved to better rooms, at least semi clean rooms, but still had a few issues. The showers were freezing cold, the safe still didn’t work and the doors could be easily pulled apart although locked. Almost everyday when our room would be cleaned we would have our towels taken but no clean towels left for us, our phone in the room didn’t work so we had to walk reception almost everyday to ask for towels. Photos of the hotel looks like a different hotel and make it look stunning but it’s far from what it really is. Overall I would rate the hotel a 1-2 star, maybe I would give 3 for the second rooms but very disappointing. I wouldnt recommend at all.

The hotel and the rooms are very dated and require some maintenance and upkeep. Very basic rooms and very basic amenities. We had two rooms, one superior (which felt like a 2 star) and a deluxe room (which was not bad, 3 star). However, the deluxe room next to the pool felt as if it was in the middle of a big parking lot (and it is). Only the dining room had a nice ambiance, everything else requires some TLC. I'm sure this hotel has seen better days in some distant past. The staff was polite and helpful though, so kudos to them.

The place had this calming vibe that I really adored, especially around the pool area – it was just what I needed to relax. The staff there were super friendly and helpful, and my room was clean and tidy, which made my stay even more comfortable. The prices felt fair for what you get, but a heads-up: don’t rely too much on the Google photos, as they might set your expectations a bit too high. Still, all in all, I’d happily give Naina Resort and Spa a well-deserved 4.5 stars.

A Nightmare at Naina Resort and Spa My recent stay at Naina Resort and Spa was an absolute disaster. I had paid in full for my room, but upon arrival, I discovered that my booking was canceled without any notification. This was just the beginning of a string of disappointments. The staff at the front desk were not only unhelpful but also incredibly rude. They showed a complete lack of concern for my situation, displaying an attitude that seemed to suggest that helping a guest was the last thing they wanted to do. Their rudeness only added insult to injury. Moreover, they offered no apologies, alternatives, or compensation for the unexplained cancellation of my booking. Their indifference to my plight and their complete disregard for customer service were appalling. It's shocking how a supposedly reputable establishment like Naina Resort and Spa could fail so spectacularly in basic hospitality. The experience was thoroughly disheartening, and I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. Rating: 1/5 – A horrendous experience characterized by rude staff, terrible management, and a total lack of responsibility. Avoid Naina Resort and Spa at all costs.

CONS: - The water comes out yellow ( don't drink tap water!) - The rooms are not very clean, I found a hair in the toilet, fingerprints in all the mirrors, and the shower is growing moho. -Low light in the bedroom, is very dark. -The Ac is so old that basically works as a noisy Fan. - The TV only have like 10 national channels. - the WiFi is very slow.. - not hand soap provided. PROS: -The employees are super nice, kind and very helpful. - the decoration of the room is nice. - is very quite -breakfast is buffet with multiple choices! - location is good, is Like 10 min walking to the beach. - the swimming pool is never too busy. - The price is very fair fot what you get. - I need to mention again the staff is incredibly nice!.. After all I am very happy here is a nice place to stay... 😊

The experience was not exactly as expected. This resort takes an advance of 2000 Bhat when you check in for deductions, just in case you happen to break, destroy, damage any of about 100 items listed on a detailed card placed inside your room. Rooms are very small and do not even have a chair in the balcony on first and second floor rooms. Breakfast was good with decent mix of veg and non veg delicacies. Swimming pool was the best of this stay.

I would strongly recommend to not have your stay in Naina Resort of you don't want to waste your money. Very bad experience we arrived at 3 pm and house keeping staff took 2 hours to clean the room after our arrival..The booking was made 15 days ago and they were well informed of our arrival but even then the rooms were asked to clean after we checked in, very pathetic rooms, bad tiles, no services, they will not provide you even a glass of water even if you are dying because of it. There are many other good hotels in that area so kindly do not book this property. We were 2 couples and booked 2 rooms. I must say that we stayed in Thailand for 7 days and staying at Naina was our worst experience .

It's a good place to stay. The resort offers all amenities like swimming pool, gym, restau, boxing galleria. The rooms are quite spacious like suites. The resort is spread over a big yard. The only drawback is its not on the main road.

A really nice resort if you're looking for something comfy and in walking distance of restaurants, bars etc. Really close to Patong Beach and excellent places to eat. The resort pool is lovely, the included breakfast is good and the staff are so friendly and welcoming.

The room's are very Quiet and clean. The pool is good and relaxing. When j visited in November 2022, It was under construction 🚧, so couldn't get spa and Sauna service. Overall it's a very good resort family travels who love to stay away from crowd. Bangla road is just 1km away, it's very accessible to happening places also.

Not even close to the photos I saw on booking. Wi-fi is the worst ever. Don’t even working. I am at the hotel now and I am using my data. This sucks. They take a really big deposit when you arrive. The room is clean and stuff very helpfull.

  • 3/5 Rusana S. 1 year ago on Google
It was ok. Like for €17 a night it was great. However, the room smelled a bit like urine and that’s because of the curtains. Yuck! Towels amare all raggedy and the room needs a few touch ups. The food is very cheap so you’ll get a nice meal for 100 baht or so. The reception lady was very nice. Only stayed here because we were going to see Muai Tai that has an arena right beside the hotel

That's a very poor looking and managed location. The onsite pictures look good, especially at night, perhaps the only decent thing here is the swimming pool (that I didn't have the chance to use due to being in a big hurry to leave that awful place). Sheets are dirty and have holes. Same goes for the towells.. Big dead bug ib the bathroom (I regret I'm not able to attach pictures). The water is pouring dark brown, for several minutes, it made me skip shower and leave the location. Prices are way higher thab other offers in Patong. The staff is also quite mediocre, and completely ignorant to my complaints. Instead they charge 1000bht as deposit for the key that barely opens the door... there are many more to say, I just don't want to remember all the quirky details. In one word: avoid the place. How the heck did they get the sha++ permit??

  • 3/5 Your_average_traveler 2 years ago on Google
At the price I paid, hard to complain. Room was a great size(grand deluxe). Room was moderately clean. Only window is the sliding door, so can feel dark at times. Wi-fi was touch and go. Towels were old, sheets were not changed once during the 7 days we stayed. Location is okay. It's quite, and a decent 10-15 walk to beach. I was suppose to go back after a stint in koh Samui, but decided to cancel and book something else... ill let you decide if that's good or bad. Again, @$18 canadian a night, can't complain too much.

Overall I had a great experience at this hotel! I stayed for 6 days and the service is very prompt. The free breakfast was diverse and I loved the eggs and noodles. Furthermore, they provide umbrellas, beach bags, and beach towels which were awesome Con: The wifi does not work in hotel rooms, it is nonexistent. You can get wifi if you go to the lobby or restaurant only :( i love wifi!

This hotel knows how to make pictures look amazing even though the place isn’t, don’t be fooled. All the bedding and every single towel given during my 6 day stay where dirty. There was dead, and squished mosquitoes all over the walls. The sink area was covered in lime. The shower drain was fully clogged causing dirt to emerge whenever the shower was on. No shade at the pool area. Location is a bit sketchy, about 10 minutes by foot from the beach in a back alley, open to anyone who walks in. The gym area reeked like sweat, which you have to go through to get to the rooms. No elevator. Didn’t provide a testing kit for day 5 even though they should have No clue how they managed to get SHA+… baffles my mind

As a large group of 30 we really enjoyed our week here. Many upgraded to suites yet standard rooms were adequate and real value for money. The gardens are really beautiful and the hotel is located just around the corner from restaurants, massage shops, convenience stores and souvenir outlets. Wouldn’t hesitate to return, in fact our trip is being planned!

We had an awful experience at this location, and it's misleading to label it as a resort. The images posted online are deceptive, bearing no resemblance to the actual conditions. Upon arrival, we had to wait for our room, which was not ready. When we finally received our assigned room, it felt like an oven as the air conditioning was malfunctioning. Despite running the AC for 24 hours, it provided minimal relief. The room emitted a moldy odor, and the interior was deteriorating, giving a dated vibe reminiscent of the 1900s. Numerous switches and lights were non-functional, and both the beds and towels had a musty, unpleasant smell. Adding to the disappointment, a Martial Arts center was located right next to our wing, causing constant noise disturbances throughout the day and night. It's perplexing how a resort could be situated next to a facility like this, especially with no substantial separation – only flimsy bamboo walls. This setup made us feel unsafe, especially considering the lack of proper wooden doors and walls; instead, there were two large sliding glass doors that did not lock securely and could be forced open. Additionally, the presence of ants and bugs further diminished the overall experience. The breakfast offered was mediocre, with the same uninspiring dish served every day, and the taste was only passable.
