We as a German, young couple, have been here for 5 nights. Overall, everything was good. The lobby is really nice. The design makes you marvel at first. The staff are all consistently nice and polite. The facility is well maintained for Thai standards. So far, probably the most well-kept 5 star facility I had visited. Nevertheless, you can see in some places that the facility is getting on in years. The breakfast is rich, varied and of high quality. Nothing is missing. No, not quite right... Soy milk would have been great ;). The walking distances are really long. From the lobby to our room (cottage) it was a 5 minute walk. It must be said that we had the back cottages. Here we also saw that the outdoor shower could be better maintained. I do not mean the cleaning here but the wear and tear of the furnishings. The beds were too hard for my taste and worn in the middle. This is all complaining at a high level. However, we are in a 5 star hotel. Hence the detailed criticism. The hotel is 95% occupied by Russians. Friendly greetings or a nice smile is missed from this nation. Employees of the hotel are answered in an unfriendly way. Such a thing does not have to be. For these visitors the vacation in Thailand is rather a package vacation. The spirit and respect and this fascination for the country is completely missing. However, this is more a Phuket problem and has less to do with the resort. It was good here, however, I am now happy to be somewhere else.

A dream resort with all the facilities and comforts you can wish for. It has a good swimming pools, also scuba diving pool, kids play area, Gym. It’s a small town in itself. The breakfast here is best with a lot to choose from. The rooms here are divided according to area. Rooms are excellent with all the facilities available and good comfortable bed. The view from room is scenic(depending upon your room). A perfect place to stay for Honeymoon couple and families who wish to stay for a week. It’s a 5 star resort, so a little heavy to your pocket, but worth spending here.

Just got back from a lovely holiday in Thailand where I stayed in this lovely resort. 5 star for the SPA, absolutely amazing. The manager is very polite, friendly and accommodating, I recommend 100%. All staff is helpful and friendly. The pools are great. The resort is situated very close to the beach and shops as well as restaurants, bars and street food. We booked one of the Cottage with a shower outside and loved our stay in Paradox Resort.

Awesome residences, few steps from the beach. Magnificent sunset/sunrise views right from the kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedrooms. Private pool next to the residence. Awesome staff. Gym, excellent buffet breakfast, too many choices, the best breakfast in the world ( and I have traveled nearly 100 countries).

Excellent location for a beautiful resort with very large accommodations. Almost 1,300 square feet and a huge balcony facing the ocean with a clear unobstructed view. Staff is ultra friendly and quick to respond to anything. The beach is right across the street! A majority of the resort is currently under renovation, but the part that is open is absolutely beautiful perfect. I would highly recommend this place!

We stayed here for our Sandbox experience and it was in the residence not the hotel. For us it was and awesome experience. They don't have food and beverage available at this time due to renovations, but there were places to eat and we ordered food. It was the best being across the street from the beach. The view never gets old and this particular beach at this time is quiet, which we enjoyed.

Paradox Resort Phuket, which used to be Movenpick Resort Karon, will take on a new look. Paradox Resort Phuket is a five-star resort located in Karon Beach, south of Phuket, formerly called Mobenpick Resort Caron. The total number of rooms is 360, and there are 16 room types, starting from Superior to 3 Bedroom Suite. Paradox Resort has a wide range of rooms, starting from Superior to Cottage, Villa, and Suite, allowing travelers to choose rooms that suit their taste. Its advantages are beautiful natural environment, three wonderful swimming pools, and accessibility to Karon Beach. In particular, there are facilities around the resort that travelers need, such as 7-Eleven, Family Mart, Lotus Go Fresh Supermarket, and mini mart, making it good for guests to live in hotel. As of March 3, 2022, Paradox Resort is operating only Superior Rooms, has renovated 170 rooms so far, and will be closed again from April to the end of October to renovate the rest of the rooms. After the renovation, the Superior Room is no different from the newly built hotel.

Brilliant place for the family, being a lot quieter than down in Patong.. You certainly notice the difference. Well positioned the beach is just a stroll across the road and massage, chemist, great food is all within close proximity. The pools are excellent with water slide and activities. Pro tip get yourself a premium villa and you can use all pools (coconut pool) is 2.8 deep and quiet..

The venue is nice, next to the beach. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I asked for an early check in and they did accepted not like the hotel I stayed before here. Very nice breakfast, served to your room. The staff called to confirm the breakfast if is missing or else, they do care every step. I recommended to stay here. That’s why I give them 5 stars.

Beautifully decorated hotel. The room was clean, beds soft, well lit and air conditioned room. The pool was pretty cool too with a tiki bar you can swim up to. The staff were really kind and welcoming. Breakfast was good and diverse. It was a comfortable stay at a decent price.

We stayed at Paradox for a few nights and overall enjoyed the stay. The resort is showing its age, but we still enjoyed it. When it was first built, it would have been quite amazing back in the day. All staff were friendly and helpful. We got a premium family residence with ocean view and it was amazing. Loads of space and stunning views. Unfortunately I got a mild case of food poisoning on the second last day which I think was from breakfast at the resort. Only reason not giving 5 stars.

Amazing king penthouses. Beautifully presented room, private rooftop pool and seating area. Resort grounds well kept. Many pools. The buffet breakfast had a huge range with fresh healthy options. Looking forward to staying again.

Very good indeed. Great room, excellent service and the buffet breakfast offered wide choices. The hotel enjoys vehicular access from the main road and pedestrian access to the beach road although at night some care is needed to avoid getting lost as despite signage the path is serpentine!

It's a great property at Karon Beach, Phuket. The check-in process was seamless, and staff ensured we had a comfortable stay. Rooms are well maintained, and breakfast spread was reasonably well prepped. The location of this property is the reason why most would prefer to book stay here. What's makes this property great? The cottages are well maintained and ensure hygiene standards. What could be better? The dining option is very limited and would make a huge difference if cuisine variety is improved.

Good points; Staff are all really nice. Pools are good and clean. Food is OK. Central Location. Bad points; Rooms are run down, Bath I wouldn't wash my dog in, and do not look like the gleaming rooms in the photos. Shower and sink water didn't get to more than Luke Warm. Plunge pool is no more than a glorified foot wash surrounded by bamboo, so no sun on it either. Poorly equipped room, nothing in the mini bar, no bottle opener, which I found out after I'd ordered 6 bottles of beer and room service opened 1 for me, which I thought was nice, but realised why when I reached for 2nd. If you like Russians, you'll be fine. NOT 5 STAR, 4 at a push.

Great hotel! Located in a fantastic, well-maintained garden. The rooms in the main building are spacious, modern and with good facilities. Beds are excellent, the bathroom is also exceptionally good. Cleaning and maintenance are carried out well. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beach in front of the hotel is breathtaking (especially the daily sunset!). From the main building to the beach it is a 10-minute walk through the beautiful garden. The breakfast is good, wide choice. The only downside: after 10:00 pm there are hardly any bar facilities in the hotel, on the other hand that also provides a lot of peace and quiet. Hotel is located near the lively part of Karon.

We had a wonderful time, staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from our room was stunning. The food was very nice (loved breaksfast buffet). Loved the Pink Mint cocktail. Just a short walk to Karon Beach. Beautiful gardens. Down the road, they had night markets on Tuesday and Friday. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. We had a large villa type room with a plunge pool. The room itself was very spacious and clean, it also came with a good coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable and the air con worked well. The pools were both lovely and had plenty of sun beds. If you have a premium room you have access to a separate pool which has cushions on the sun loungers. There is a large and well equipped fitness centre. The staff at the hotel are lovely and we left our phone charger and adapter in the room accidtally when we checked out. We dropped by a week later on the off chance they had it and they did, special thanks for Bee for helping us with that (not sure if that's the correct spelling). I'd definitely stay at this hotel if I return to Phuket, I really liked the property and it's location. Just outside the hotel there's an amazing restaurant called 'Elephant cafe by Tan'. I definitely recommend eating here and doing one of the cooking classes. Round the corner from the hotel is a massage place called 'Chok Dee'. We went a few times, it's the best maasage I have ever had in Thailand, definitely a must visit.

First time staying at Paradox Resort and we absolutely loved it. From the moment we arrived to when we left we felt we have been looked after by staff. We spent a lot of time by both pools and enjoyed some cocktails at the swim up bar. Staff were on hand to bring cocktails and food over if we needed. Breakfast was varied with a lot to choose from each day and cooked fresh. The resort itself is in a fantastic location right by Karon beach and the resort is stunning you are in paradise with all the lush trees around you. Big shout out to Asama (Khemjira) and Sao (Pornthip) for their chats and helpful insights into what we could do during our stay. They were approachable and very friendly we will definitely miss them. The guys at the pool bar were great to chat to aswell. You definitely feel at home here and looked after. We will be back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Paradox Resort during my vacation in Karon Beach, Phuket, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. This hidden gem deserves nothing less than a perfect 5-star rating. From the moment I stepped foot onto the premises until the moment I reluctantly checked out, I was enveloped in a world of luxury, serenity, and unmatched hospitality. First and foremost, the resort's location is simply breathtaking. Nestled along the stunning Karon Beach, the panoramic views of the turquoise Andaman Sea were absolutely mesmerizing. The golden sand, swaying palm trees, and crystal-clear waters created a picture-perfect postcard scene that I will forever cherish. It was a dream come true to wake up to such beauty each morning. The accommodations at Paradox Resort were nothing short of extraordinary. My room, a tastefully decorated haven, was meticulously maintained, and every detail was thoughtfully attended to. The plush bed and premium linens provided the utmost comfort, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The private balcony overlooking the ocean was my personal sanctuary. The staff at Paradox Resort truly made my stay unforgettable. Every member of the team exuded warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the heartfelt goodbyes at departure, their attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond were commendable. They were always available to assist with any request, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was seamless and delightful. The resort's facilities and amenities were top-notch. The pool was surrounded by lush tropical gardens, provided an oasis of relaxation. I spent many hours smwhile sipping on refreshing cocktails from the poolside bar. Lastly I have one advice for the management. The resort is quite big. The beach and the entrance of the resort are quite far from the room stays. I think the resort should have golf carts running around to take guests from one place to another in the resort. In conclusion, Paradox Resort is an absolute gem in Karon Beach, Phuket. The combination of breathtaking location, luxurious accommodations, exceptional service and outstanding facilities creates an unparalleled experience. If you seek a haven of tranquility and indulgence, look no further. Paradox Resort is a true paradise found, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The staff was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and valued as a guest. The hotel's convenient location allowed easy access to nearby attractions and beautiful beaches. The amenities provided were satisfactory, adding to the overall comfort of my stay. I'm already looking forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable time in Phuket.

Stayed at the Paradox Hotel from the 14th of May until the 21st .... 7 nights in total. The superior room was spacious and clean over looking the Pool from the balcony with good quality wifi widely accessible. The entrance, looking out, had a nice view of the mountains. The breakfast buffet was extensive with the standard western options and an array of excellent Thai or Asian dishes rotated daily. All the staff were friendly and helpful and a special shout out to Bonvey and Jon who greeted us with warmth and good cheer each morning. The beach was just over a 5 minute walk from the room and took us past mint bar which also has good food and music. We often frequented this establishment in the evening for a night cap and good tunes. The staff here were excellent. Shout out to Usanee and Chitanupong. A short distance walk from the hotel was some great Thai food 1) Elephant Cafe by Tan 2) Louis Kitchen 3) Jin Being Monsoon season the sea was quite turbulent so best to be a confident swimmer or stick to the pool. The Gym is adequate and there is a recreation area with table tennis. Excellent.

Also, location and pool were awesome as well =).

THE WORST SERVICE MINDED HOTEL EVER, NOT EVEN CLOSE TO A 1 STAR DO NOT STAY THERE. What happened at our stay at Paradox is beyond ridiculous the list can go on forever but here are the top key moments Bad staff and services - the staff lost our booking due to the fact that they use the wrong email - the front desk staff was incompetent took over 1 hour to find us a new room - the staff lied to us about the general manager not being on campus, only to find out that he is in the back office scrolling on his phone. My friend need to drag him out from his office to deal with his staff. - the general manager was sarcastic, rude, disrespectful and said that the staff “wasn’t his problem to deal with”. He lied to us blatantly in our faces even though his staff has already admitted to the problem. - no one was apologetic and the services is beyond despicable - as a compensation to the event, the hotel staff promise us free breakfast everyday only for us to find out the next morning at the dining hall that it is only for day - The staff at the Walu açaí bowl cafe in front of the hotel was disrespectful, pointing at us saying we need to be dressed better going into the cafe, all he had to do was say it respectfully Bad Room and Maintenance - the room that we got given has really bad smell coming off the air con - the shower drain randomly has super strong urine smell (imagine public toilet smell in paris) and which the cleaner accuse the guest that we peed into the shower, the problem did not get solved and they just poured detergent into the drain - the key card stopped working for no reason - the hotel is way older looking than images online

The room, and location is better than I expected. Its not too far from the beach and can walk. Room are nice and clean and actually bigger than I expected. There are many things to do in the area as well.

Stayed in the hotel for a week, got a regular king room with a sea view. I got upgraded to a plunge pool room right next to the lobby. I loved my stay and would recommend it to anyone. At night the restaurant was closed and I was hungry. The concierge sent a club cart to pick me up and bring me to the 7-11 close by to pickup a snack.

I am staying at SaengChan one-bedroom suite right now. The room is clean, spacious and equipped with full amenities. There is also a balcony for me to chill out. Bed are comfy. The gardens in the resort are beautiful. I love greeny vibes. It takes only not more than 1 min to walk to the beach from my room. They have very nice pools and pool bar which I love it. Staff are polite and helpful. Highly recommend!

Had a great new year stay here. Staff super friendly - seamless transition from Movenpick management to Paradox. Great location on the beach and local shops.

We stayed there (Mövenpick resort &spa Karon beach) end of December, 3 days after it just re-opened. Unfortunately we were not informed that majority of the hotel was closed and one of the reasons we had decided for Movenpick was its facitities (restaurants, pools, gym etc). The only open restaurant left much to be desired and breakfast lacked a variety of choices. We managed to shorten our stay, thanks to the duty manager who was very supportive. There are ongoing renovations in the hotel, so hopefully they will manage to get back on track after re-branding to Paradox Resort
