Nice harbour of Karachi If you interested in sea voyage then may try local boats to/from Baba island, Bhit Island and specialy Manora. Beautiful places to visit

Kemari Harbor built in 1857 during British rule. While still not any remarkable work done after its construction. This harbor is the main source of fishing in Karachi and to hire boats for Manora, Kakapir, bhit and Baba islands. The structure of building is old british roman style and it is under demolition therefore, badly needs to be replaced ASAP.

Currently the old passenger jetty is close due to renovation and maintenance. New jetty is operational for local, KPT and Vany boats.

A different picnic experience other than the beaches in Karachi. Lots of people faces sea sickness because of constant movement of the boats. This entertainment could be improved if sea water could be made clean and odur free as cleanliness is the main issue of this spot. A good experience requires 2-3 hours of boat ride, fishing and food. An average boat is enough for 20-25 that will be economical. An average ride with food cost 25k to 30k. I have been doing this for over 20 years.

The Kemari Harbour is a historic economic hub of the country. The harbour needs the attention of the government and a bit of cleaning up. From here, you can take a KPT boat to Manora or hire a private boat and go cruising in the Indian Ocean or go catch fish in the open sea!

Its really a wonderful experience. Boat floating in open sea, live cooking in boat and then dinner in sea in breezing weather. Mesmirizing...

Local transportation from keamari to Manora Beach. Fair is high as compare to travel. Rs.100/- per person. Condition of boats are also average.

Good place to check out the boat ride. If you have less budget, then go for normal boat ride & don't hire boat separately.

Kemari harbour is good place to visit manhora through the ferry. But, there is no any life care coat provided to each passenger. Too much risky. But, need govt. attention for establishment.

Beautiful sea sceneries and boats

The potential of Keamari Harbour is undeniable, and with proper maintenance, it could further improve. While strides have been made, there's still progress to be achieved. Unfortunately, the water remains highly polluted, largely attributed to ship oils. Addressing this issue is crucial for the continued enhancement of the harbor.

Good for crabbing, as an activity but occasional smell is undeniable. But yes the seafood was so good! I didn't expect everything to be just as good.

Testy and fresh fish specially grill fish is Very famous.

You can get a boat for manora privately and locally. It's too good to make bookings privately for your family or trip. The fare is low.

Very rushy and busy area. Local people are non co-operative and try to misguide you. Even naval guard is not helpful

Ordinary Boating jetty for masses having option to hire an exclusive boat for the family or to use an ordinary boat to commute between keamari to Manora. Need to affix the rate of hired boats otherwise (unfortunately) you might end up in harsh arguments at the end.

One of the main attractions of Karachi city which needs urgent attention as it's strewn with waste and garbage all over. Some basic amenities like washrooms and Parking space needs to be upgraded. Good option to enjoy a boat ride without breaking the bank

First of all recommended for new visitor but must be ready for pungent smell. You will have to deal with rascal type boaters. They will try to wangle as much from your pocket as they can. Uncleanness everywhere. It seems thers is nobody to look after this beautiful sight of sea. Boats are messy and old. But again say, new tourist must visit kemarri and manorra.
