I am not sure if the people of Kelowna truly understand how fortunate they are to have such an incredible park and beach, right at the center of their town. The beach and park offer shade, great places to picnic and fun in the sun! There are always many people here but you always feel safe. No one is there to destroy your fun. The public washrooms are pretty clean and in front of them is a Vietnamese Food Truck that has great Bubble Tea for those hot days and fresh salad rolls! Yummy! It is a mother daughter team who work hard to feed many satisfied people. There are many boat cruises here too. There is parasailing and even a BBQ boat to enjoy a real BBQ with your friends out on the lake. For people with kids, there is an inflated fun park on the water for them to challenge themselves on and get wet too. So much to see and so much to do, that you will want to keep coming back daily. I certainly wish I could go there daily. I am quite jealous!

One word simply suits best - Spectacular!!! Beautiful landscape with walking paths beside the lake beach front. Great picnic area with plenty of trees for shade. Lots of playground, separate play area for kids and water pads too. Also sand beach for sun bathing and relaxation. You could also play beach volleyball 🏐 Park also has a tennis court. Lots of benches to sit along the walking area incase you get tired or if you just wanna enjoy the view. Lovely view of the marina too. You can walk, ride bicycle, scooter along the path, there's place for everyone. The park also has a public piano. It is one happening and happy place to be at. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful spot to do a walk about. Glorious views of Kelowna, the bridge and the waterfront. Opportunities for Pata sailing, boating or jet skis. Clean and well-maintained parks, beaches and gardens. Lots of places to sit, relax and people watch. Different restaurants all around to enjoy some lunch or a late night dinner.

If you're looking for a beach with nice sand and plenty of amenities, go to Kelowna City Park. One of the better beaches in Kelowna. They have a few food trucks located on the east side.

Very nice park. Lots of fun and water sports. The city parking lot is good with $1.5 per hour. But be carefully the other parking fee is extremely high. The Wynn inn parking fee is $8.5 per hour which is close to the city parking lots.

The place you have to visit when cross Kelowna. If you driving cross BC, Kelowna is one of city on the road you better visit. The city park includes all great landscapes you need to see in one spot. Very beautiful view for the lake, gardens, playgrounds and swimming areas. Here is a cute structure for Ogopogo the legendary monster in the lake. I heard that some friends said that if they could stay in only one place in BC, Kelowna is the destination. It is beautiful and comfortable no matter the weather or climate. However, during I write this article, Kelowna area is burning with fire 😢. Hopefully it still keep its beauty after that. Glad to visit before fire arrives, and I have great time with people I met here.

One of the best things to do here in the summer in Kelowna! If you want to have a nice beach day with other options of other outdoor activities, this is the place to go to! You can go hang out on the beach, play tennis, play basketball, beach volleyball, go to the water park, rent a boat or jet ski, float down the lake, bring a bbq and have a picnic with your family, there’s a playground nearby as well to entertain your little ones. There’s decent access for washrooms and even a water station to fill your water bottles! It’s within walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and bars so if you didn’t bring any food don’t worry, you can still walk around and buy something to eat! This is definitely a great place for families but it’s also great to go to to hang out with your friends and just have a good time. Overall I highly recommend going to this park if you’re ever in Kelowna during the summer! There’s plenty of things to do and you can easily spend a few days doing various things here or simply relax, your choice!

My favourite place in Kelowna. Hot sand and warm water. Love it. Lots of amenities. Clean bathrooms and water fill ups. Lots of garbage cans and shady places to sit by the grass or sand

It's great, they keep the grass nice and there's lots of beautiful cottonwood trees for shade. They now have a floating fun park for the kids.

Always a great place to visit considering we haven't been here for 30 years. So many changes but still a great walk around the lake.

the lakeside view was great. We saw some paragliding stuff, jetski cruise tour and many more. It only sucks their rented escooter and ebike. It will just go you nowhere,it has very limited distance to ride on and cant access most area of the park.Never try it just take a walk and enjoy the surrounding view of the lakes and park.

Fantastic park to visit. 2nd time in 5 years. A little bias because we came during Canada Day celebration - which had food vendors, games & activities and small market. Beautiful landscape with walking paths beside the lake beach front. Great picnic area with plenty of trees for shade (please clean up after).

Great weather today! Lots of people and nice water activity thing! The only downside is the size of the washrooms. Not big enough for the amount of people in the park. Huge lineups.

I always love it here. There's so much to do: large sandy beach, playground, splash park, skate park, grassy areas, tons of shade, sports courts, floating playground ($), washrooms, easy access to downtown. Big parking lot with paid parking $1/hr

This is the second year we've come here for the kids to enjoy the Wibit, and they loved it once again! The weather was perfect, the water was warm, and the park was busy. They're can be some sketchy people area but they seem to be harmless and the RCMP are around regularly. There weren't any issues so it's not really concern. The park is popular and there are a lot of things to do and sight see. Would definitely go back!

Went downtown to listen to the live music with Parks Alive. Music theme was Classic Rock and the artist were great. In the summer, every Friday and Saturday night they have different themes. It is free and you can bring your blanket or lawn chair or just stand or dance. We walked across the street and picked up some dinner and sat on a blanket.

Our family spent the afternoon at City Park enjoying the WiBit and weather during a scorching day. We had no issue finding a shady spot under a tree and setup camp there. Beaches were a bit crowded but there are plenty of places to find some peace and quiet. The WiBit gets all the crowds but the spray park, basketball, volleyball and walking paths didn’t have too many folks at all. Fun to watch the amazing kids do some trick on skateboards in the skate park. The only issues seems to be parking. We did find a spot but it was more by luck than anything else. Despite not being too crowded, every parking spot was taken with several cars circling around. If not for the WiBit, I’d suggest Gyro Park as an alternative.

Absolutely loved this part of Kelowna. The beach, the marina, the bars, the restaurants. The whole vibe of the place was really cool. We loved spending the day and evening here.

Great place to watch the airshow, bit busy One guy tried. To touch my 7 month old but other than that it was fun I love the kids park settings for your baby and great playground for older kids

Kelowna's most well-known park! What's not to love- centrally located, beautiful, sandy beaches, kids waterpark and lots of beautiful shade trees.

This place is really awesome the park has a lot to offer for everyone at any age. Downtown marina has a lot of boata for rentals deoending on what you need. The place is always busy morning till midnight. Bars are opened in bernard avenue and plenty of restaurants on the area. It safe and nothing to worry when travelling here. The okanagan lake was so clear and soothingly cold in summer time. So visit Kelowna and enjoy the nature at its best

Not a bad place to visit. We came here on a Thursday and a Friday night, and the experience is very different. Thursday was nice and quiet. Friday was super packed, difficult to find parking, and way too crowded for my liking.

Was busy but it's normal. Not a big fan of the electric scooters as we were dodging them a lot. Only one used a bell, no helmets not one. Was nice to be in the 26c water even if it was up to our knees.

Much better than we expected. There are currently some construction works going on by the beach but enjoyed our walk round past the yacht club. Drove past the park the following morning and there seemed to be many homeless people. Also read that the park at night can be full of the homeless as well so, choose your time to visit.
