So far I have had my annual eval/images and cleaning done at Island Dental. As someone who has *major* anxiety at the dentist, I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff, their approach, professionalism and patience. Dr. Martin took more time than I have ever had with a dentist to explain my x-rays. He literally explained tooth by tooth. In the past, my dentists have looked at the x-rays and come in and just told me what needs to be done without me ever having seen them. Then, he made recommendations based on not only what I needed, but he also took into consideration what my insurance would cover which I truly truly *truly* appreciated. Chelsea did my cleaning and it was more thorough than any cleaning I’ve ever had at a dentist. She explained everything she was doing before she did it and gave helpful recommendations along the way that went along with Dr. Martin’s Treatment Plan. Honestly, it was Chelsea who convinced me to get the mouth guard after giving me in- depth information about what was happening in my mouth as a result of constantly clenching- so, Dr. Martin, make sure you thank your wonderful staff! Chelsea, thank you for being so accommodating about my sensitivity issues and being so caring about my concerns while you performed your job. Admin staff- you guys are also wonderful. okay, I am maybe the most scared person, in at least KW, of dental offices! Dr. Martin and his dental techs are the very best! They are such professional and caring people when it comes to understanding that many people have had bad experiences in other dental offices. Even though I have been going to Island Dental since 2020 I still shake just walking in the door. Within minutes I am surrounded by happy, kind dental techs. They are great people and THEY KNOW what they are doing. I feel like when arranging my treatments Dr. Martin looks at the work that needs to be done, considers the best price option for the best long term solution and it's discussed and appts are made! I do recommend the calming air and take your mind somewhere else! They are wonderful and welcoming and no I am not related to anyone of them. 😆 Professional, knowledgeable and friendly! I've been going to Island dental for a while now, and I've always had a great experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Dr. Martin is always professional and thorough. He takes the time to explain everything he's doing, and he always makes sure I'm comfortable. I've never had a bad experience with Dr. Martin, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist. Also, I'd like to give a big shout out to Chelsea Slater for helping me keep my teeth clean and for always telling me what's best for my oral health. It is really a great office. I've been going there for few years. The staff is very professional, helpful, responsible, nice and on time. The office is very clean and very pleasant to be in :). And Dr. Martin is absolutely amazing!!! His knowledge, expertise, compassion and work is off the charts. He is truly caring for his patients and goes above and beyond. Recently relocated to Key West, I had not established with a local dentist. When I experienced new onset dental pain, I contacted Island Dental and secured a next day appt. They were professional, efficient, and empathetic as we coordinated insurance and transfer of dental records. Today, I underwent a root canal, and am scheduled for the crown. Dr. Martin and Dr. Spelios worked as a team, focusing on the issue at hand. When it comes to invasive dental work, I have extreme anxiety. What a relief to have the anxiety successfully managed with pharm and non-pharm methods. I really appreciate their new patient intake question that explores my goals for my teeth. I believe they have gone above and beyond. And I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you!

Very efficient and professional service. I arrived a few minutes prior to my appointment and was taken back to receive x-rays before my appointment time had even come to pass. Dr. Martin came over to do my inspection and was both thorough and methodical about inspecting each tooth. I truly felt like I was given excellent professional care and was in and out in 25 minutes.

We are full time cruisers on our boat. While staying in Marathon I broke a crown just a few days before leaving for the Bahamas. They got me in the same day that I called. The staff from start to finish was excellent!!!! Dr. Martin fixed my crown and was so nice and professional. I hate going to the dentist but they made this as pleasant an experience as possible. We've been clients of Island Dental for decades. Called in late for annual cleaning but were placed on the waiting list. A couple of weeks later Crystal called with an opening for Sharon and Betty did her typical thorough job. Later that same day Crystal was kind enough to call with another cancellation, knowing that it would be convenient for us to be on the same schedule. It was not with my regular hygienist Betty, but with Kelly who was very professional even knowing that it was a one time thing. Great staff in front and back.

Thank you Dr. Eaton and Ashley they were fantastic!! Ashley went above and beyond to take care my need, from the beginning to the end, they truly care about their patients. I love Island Dental. The staff is always incredibly friendly and takes the time to explain treatment. I am always particularly impressed with Melinda at the front desk with her positive attitude and attention to detail. I recently had Zoom Whitening done with Ashley and she was so patient and kind. This is a wonderful practice. Dr. Martin has been out dentist for several years now and he does a superb job. He is excellent at putting children at ease and makes going to the dentist an enjoyable experience for children and parents. Very happy I chose them for my family dentist.

While visiting in the Keys, I broke a front tooth during Christmas day dinner. Island Dental was the only dentist open on Monday morning (the Christmas holiday) and they took me in the following morning! The entire staff was helpful and made sure I received excellent service. Dr. Martin and Haley made a temporary replacement tooth immediately and I was out the door in about an hour. Then they scheduled me back the following day to check that the replacement was correct and pain free. This was during their busy holiday schedule. I received excellent, professional care. I broke a crown on a Sunday. I emailed Island Dental through their website. I got a call early Monday morning from a very kind receptionist who got me scheduled Monday morning. I was unable take the Monday morning appointment, so she promised to call if there was a cancellation. She called back and they got me in Wed. afternoon. I med Dr. Martin and his assistant Sam. What a great team. Dr. Martin was gentle and spoke to me during the process explaining what was taking place and what I might expect/feel, etc. Very kind and very professional. Sam has this great energy and great attitude and sense of humor. My experience has been excellent so far. Although the temp came off last night, Dr. Martin had warned me of that as well since the tooth is so small and flat. I glued it back on and called to see if the perm crown might be in sooner than 2/15. The receptionist took my number and shortly thereafter, Dr. Martin called to see what was going on. Super sweet and super nice of him to take time out of a very busy practice to call me. The office is nice, clean and organized. The staff seems very nice!

I had a very challenging procedure done to save a tooth. Dr Eaton and his assistant Margaret not only saved the tooth, but took great care to ensure my comfort during the process. I was visiting the keys after getting my wisdom teeth removed. I developed dry socket and was in intense pain. 😭 Thankfully the team at Island Dental got me in (even days after a hurricane!!) and saved my vacation! Thank y’all! 🙌🏻💕

First, I had a cleaning with Betty and it was great! I then had a chipped tooth that Dr. Eaton drilled and made a temporary crown for me before the final crown is ready. I always have a great experience at Island Dental. They are the best……

The staff was very welcoming as I'm a new patient. Helpful with questions and answers I felt very comfortable. The doctors experience I had was incredible very in tune with what needed to be done and he went the extra mile to talk to me about things tips on keeping everything in good health

Yesterday’s visit was a routine cleaning and check up. It’s really fun (even going to the dentist) when they know you and greet you as an appreciated friend/customer. They are also very respectful of our time. I don’t remember waiting much past my scheduled appt time except once when they kept me very informed as the took care of a true emergency for a customer.

The office is professionally run, clean and everyone is kind. My hygenist Betty is gentle & frankly cleans my teeth better than anyone I’d been to in Key West! Dr. Eaton always straight forward with answers to all my questions, and great at his craft! Cannot tell you how lucky I am to have found this place!

They have been my dentists for about five to six years. I started with the fantastic Doctor Mayfield who is now retired. Now my dentist is Dr. Brandon Martin who is absolutely amazing. He is very thorough, kind, and patient. He is also very truthful so you don't have to guess about what is going on. The whole office is terrific!

Dr. Martin is super super skilled and also has a very broad knowledge. I love the way my new fillings are. Also Dr. Martin was SUPER fast removing my wisdom tooth - and I have VERY long and curved roots. Will be getting all my mouth done here. Crystal and Melinda are just so sweet - they will take Your appointments and greet You. They don't have to look at the charts like robots - please they treat You like You are family of Island Dental and are very caring and nice. My Mom also goes here and loves it too. We feel very lucky to have this clinic.

Dr Martin was very thorough explaining everything and showing me X-rays and pictures of my teeth. He was also very understanding about my anxiety at the dentist. Highly recommend!!

Everyone in the office was wonderful. Not for a moment did we feel uncomfortable. Within 24 hours of our emergency visit for some wisdom teeth, they are pulled and my daughter is on the road to recovery.

I found myself with a dental emergency about as far from home as a person could be.. an Alaskan in Key West. The folks at Island Dental got me in within hours of my call for help. Treated my condition, got prescriptions ordered to begin the healing process, forwarded my records to my Alaska dentist and got me out the door. The staff was very professional and helpful. I can’t give them enough stars, they truly saved the day. Bonus was it was Halloween and there were some great costumes!!
