I checked into the hotel on Thursday March 16 around 5:30pm. Once I entered the room and closed the door behind me I knew I was in trouble. I could hear every word spoken in the corridor. Every door opened and closed. I went to reception and expressed my concern. The young woman told me she is aware of the problem and offered me ear plugs!!! I hoped that by the time I came back from meeting my friends it will be late enough and maybe quieter. I spent about an hour in the room and left for dinner. Back around 9:30pm and things were worse. Went to reception again. I was told again there are no rooms. Nothing to be done. I packed my bags and left. Friday December 17 in the morning I emailed Talia, the reception manager and later, I forwarded that same email to guest relations, I described my terrible experience. No response. I did see that they have charged for the room and a deposit as well, that deposit charge is yet to be refunded. Today, 6pm on Sunday December 19, a work day in Israel, still no response. I tried calling multiple times, no answer and no voicemail. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I highly recommend that you stay away from this establishment.

Location: this is the best part of the hostel. Close to Bea h and port and public transportation stops. 5/5 Service: fast, friendly and informative. 5/5 Rooms: my superior room had a double bed upstairs and sofa bed downstairs. Room is tight but air con works, bed is comfortable. Noise: yes, the walls are thin and you can hear chit chat in the corridor occasionally. Not a wake me upper. Food: breakfast was 3/5 I’m a fussy eater. Others might call it a 4 or 5. They have pancakes, eggs etc so all the basics covered. Cleanliness: the cleaning ladies were very nice and friendly. They did a great job. Lobby area was 5/5 Problems: 1- Cockroaches 🪳 in the room, corridor etc There are traps or sprays around a as I saw many deceased ones in the corridor. Only one in my room. 2-kitchen is something that I did not use or had planned to use. My stay was for room Only. Enough restaurants and bakery all around to get food. Overall the stay was a 4/5 Value for money 💰 vs what you get is fair. As it is high season and the prices are crazy in this city.

As an Israeli resident - i don't often spend time in hotels in Israel. this hotel - was an excellent experience to start. The Spot hotel - is a cool hotel! very friendly to kids and young people we took a room for 2 adults & 2 12YOL children. The rooms are big, clean, nice and quite at nights. As its on the TEL AVIV PORT - it has varies options of cool things to do, restaurants and coffee house. the beach is 5 min. walk. we had the best time!!!! THE SERVICE IS PERFECT!!!!!

This is my second time staying here, with the first time being back in 2019. My previous stay was wonderful, however I was disappointed this time around. I got a double private room, and it could have been much cleaner. There was grime lining the shower and the toilet and sink were not cleaned to standards. The shower would also become backed up and not drain quickly. In addition, it was rare that I received fresh towels. I was there for 7 nights. The bar was not open at all like last time I was there, where they provided free drink tickets upon arrival. The bar was closed the whole week. There were no events, not many people seemed to be staying this time. The vibe felt off. The breakfast was ok, but it was MUCH better back in 2019 in terms of taste and variety. Most importantly, I found most people at the front desk to be incredibly unfriendly, specifically the woman with the short blonde hair who was always on her phone and often rolling her eyes when she was asked for help or advice. I’m not sure if the hostel changed ownership since 2019 but I probably will not stay there again. 2019’s visit was amazing and I am disappointed.

I have stayed from 24 to 25 and it was the worst stay , because I even had to ask to stay there in order that the hostel is a half empty 🗯. Since the manager did not contact me and guys behave very rude I would like to share my experience here. I came in the very late evening since I missed my bus to the Dead Sea and asked the price. A guy on a reception in the beginning told they they have plenty of places. But the price on booking was much lower, I asked him is it possible to make the same reservation he told me in is NEW and he doesn’t know how to do that. so he advised to make me reservations there. Since I also work as a receptionist many years, I know that the reservation is coming between 10-30 from internet websites, but it was a midnight, I told me ok, let me pay now I will go to put my things and you will make check in process when it come. then his attitude was changed and he throw my money on me and told cancel reservations or he will call a police . I told him, that I will call a police if you are talking like this. it was almost 1 am , I was very tired and started just to cry to give me the place to sleep, and wanted to talk with a manager. Since I had been doing in their place events on lobby, breakfast meetings and etc. and really liked it. Today in the he morning everyone ignored me anc told do not come any more. of course I am not going to come, but it’s unacceptable to be in the list of international hostels with such attitude and I feel very offended. 1. the attitude of the guy (Ahmed) 2. The attitude of management

Nice and beautiful hostel. Rooms are small but big enough for a few days. There is possibility to wash clothes for 30 ILS - you get 2 coins (one for washing machine and the second for dryer), you can also hang the clothes on the hanger in the laundry. Breakfasts are nice. The reception is 24/7! The only problem was high humidity in the room - our room was small with bathroom and small windows, it was impossible to air the room. :( At least there was air condition. :)

You never really know what you’re going to walk into when you book a hostel online. But this one… this hostel looks exactly like the pictures and is in such an amazing location! We felt like we hit the jackpot! We only needed a place to stay for one night but we wish we could stay longer. It’s clean, modern, and has all the amenities you need, including plenty of USB outlets so we didn’t need to go buy an adapter (we’re from the US.) My husband and I had a double room while my sister had a single pod. The double room was perfect for us, and the single pod was exactly what my sister wanted, at a very fair price. This place is so cute! We are so happy with our stay, we highly recommend this hostel!

Shocking attitude at reception. Shouting at me without provocation. Went I protested the receptionist then refused to check in my booking. A good thing in hindsight. I can’t imagine what the rest of the service would be. Quite a contrast to the happy welcoming video of a receptionist greeting being played directly behind him. I can honestly say the worst customer experience I have had in all the 100 countries I’ve visited.

The spot hostel the worst place you could go to. Located in the middle of a road with a ton of work and noise by traffic. Terrible place for ppl who want to *not* breath because THERE ARE NO WINDOWS IN ANY ROOM, did they say it in the website? No they did not. They promised me a refund, signed a document with their names door using the refund will be done on the 27th of June. We are on the 9th on July and I still have not received my refund. 700+ shekel. Called them today, they asked for a picture of the document (which they suppose to have a copy of) and than the refund will be done in no time. I said no. Told them they have a copy of it. They HUNG UP ON Me !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good location, right by the old port of Tel Aviv. It's also cheap by Israeli standards. The bar area is also really nice. I've given the rating though as it really is not the cleanest. Our bedding had a yellow stain on, the wall is stained from the mattress and the shower is mouldy. See pictures

Great Location BUT....... the vibe is gone, the great staff that made the place are gone or leaving, the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing but both hands are useless. A/C's don't work in most rooms, some staff are trying to be great, try to be helpful but the other staff make the job harder and while services are going downhill prices are going up. Other less expensive options close by, not worth the money for the location any more!!

Decent hostel, but poor breakfast for the extra cost and bad breakfast opening times, only starts at 8 which is so late! There are also limited facilities, tiny kitchen, no hairdryers and no irons. Location is quite far from the main going out areas in Tel Aviv. Not ideal if staying there over shabbat when every public transport shuts down. That said, comfortable beds but hidden charges with 15 shekels to rent a towel. Almost enough money to go buy one yourself.

About hostel I can't say any special, only that lobby looks nice and cosy. But, in the lobby, there is a beer station with huge variety of fresh beer, and super nice barman, who will definitely treat you with something tasty fir free, so you don't want to go😜

Great for budget accommodation. Friendly and polite personnel, clean, quiet and tidy with a great variety of beers and nice food. Close to a mall and downtown with bars and restaurants all around. No second thoughts.

A lot to say about the Spot Hostel. I travelled alone during Silvester's time, for three nights, and paid quite a hefty amount for a single room (when compared to accommodations across other metropolitan cities). When I stepped into the hostel, the first thing that welcomed me was the warm and cosy atmosphere. At the reception, smiling and friendly. I had some beers at the bar, for surprisingly cheap, enjoyed the soft rock, and conversed with the beautiful bartenders (GiGi). I felt short-handed when reaching the room. It wasn't a room, it was a cubicle. What a shock! Unfortunately for me, the pictures didn't cover that type of single room. I didn't do anything but laugh it off and remind myself I'm in Tel Aviv's, but that sucked. There are many areas in the hostel, which makes it spacey, loungey, and comfy. The cleanliness of the rooms is great (although they don't seem to clean them while they're being occupied... perhaps because of the high season). The cleanliness of the facilties... not so great. Kitchen is mediocre, and WCs are fine. All in all: Did I enjoy my stay, felt at ease, and even made some memories in the hostel itself? Hell yea. Would I recommend to others? Certainly. Would I stay there again? Quite possibly.

Location is a big and huge plus, staff is ok, if you need a laundry it's not complimentary to use it. Great price the rooms are like a box. Great shower. But the rooms are too small, smells are good and sparkling.

Horrible customer service. The woman who serves at the front desk is amazing. The man who is there most of the time is awful.

  • 4/5 Rodrigo T. 1 year ago on Google
Nice atmosphere and good infrastructure overall. Kudos for the quiet space they have for working/reading. Staff management could improve by allocating more people in more demanding hours, for certain times I noticed collaborators overwhelmed and overworking specially in the bar and breakfast. You pay for the breakfast but don’t get coffee which you must buy apart, they offer a black pounder that according to them is instant coffee but it doesn’t taste like coffee at all.

Generally kind and helpful staff (except that one small lady with rather short black hair; she seems to be the least motivated receptionist ever encountered). Cool bar/common areas. Rooms are mostly clean but extremely small.

From a hallucinating bar tender who imagines people drinking more beer and argues with his customers, to a receptionist who claims double the security deposit for renting cycles, to rooms which they stopped cleaning after 2 days of our 1 week stay. They should put a board outside, saying "Will only treat you fairly if you're fair-skinned". Fair warning, some of staffs are low key racist (speaking as an Indian)

Breakfast was amazing, the best in my life. Rooms are without windows but we knew it before. And for that price it’s okay. But far away from the city center

If you're looking for an affordable place to crash in Tel Aviv this chic hostel is a great choice. The friendly staff was happy to direct me to my room which was nice and clean and had everything I needed. Rooms are available either with or without a private bathroom. Industrial windows at the top of the room let in some light during the night so if you like complete darkness this might not be for you.

  • 4/5 Daniel M. 8 months ago on Google
It was ok to be there, everything inside is clean and new, each bed with curtains, and very friendly and helpful staff witch prepares the rooms. Outside around the hostel is close to the river and it is a little bit wet there. So cockroaches are living around there.

  • 1/5 Jordi C. 8 months ago on Google
Cockroaches running in our room and in the corridor. The base of our bed was broken. The AC was so noisy that we could not sleep. Not a single appliance was working in the shared kitchen, and there was no cutlery, no dishes, no glasses, and only a few bunch of very old half broken, disgustingly filthy pans. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone.

I stayed there a year ago and loved it, the location is very central and the rooms are very good for their price. farthermore, every time we visit the area we go to sit at the spot's bar and get coffee or drinks, the place is lovely and air conditioned, very recommended!

Best value for money in Tel Aviv. Great atmosphere and location. Young, easy and nice. From now on this will be my choice of a night in TA.

Legitimate one of if not the best hostels I've been to. The hallways is beautiful with green outside, location is incredible, staff super friendly, everything clean, beds and lockers are huge and nice, shower is amazing, etc.

The rooms are tiny and quite claustrophobic. Strong scent in the rooms and no window. Anyway quite practical if you need one night

The spot hostel is really nice. It’s great for all kinds of travelers. The area is amazing. Yes it’s true about the noise. That’s why I didn’t give a full five star. Bring ear plugs. I sleep with them even in the fanciest hotels. All shared spaces are noisy. Period. The staff do a great job at keeping the place clean. Not sure what the negative comment was about the kitchen. It’s shared. And it’s very clean compared to other restaurant kitchens! The property is modern fresh and fun. The bar is nice. Many people come to visit. The staff is accommodating. There are a few people at the reception who are exceptionally nice. The lady with the great curly hair is fantastic! I come from a background of hotels and working at them. This is a great idea and “spot”!

Let's split their services (bar and hostel) 1. As a hostel it's horrible if you are looking for rest. You will hear all people noises including the snoring from the next room . It's the only place in Israel that I know as a resident that they don't have a water dispenser for hot and cold water the shared kitchen has nothing that works and it's dirty ugly and without anything to cook. Small things such as water coffee etc are basic in this county including if you want to charge for that. 2. If you are young and looking for a good located place it could be good for you. 3. Bar the bar is okay for beer and not for eating but with great atmosphere.

Looks great on the surface. Just lacked in a few areas. The room smelled very musty on arrival, although it was clean. The shower was great, with a powerful output. Only problem is that it didn't drain away quick enough so ended up flooding. We stayed two nights and our room wasn't serviced in that time despite asking for it several times. All in all not terrible. A great location.

A great looking Hostel. Cool Atmosphere, very nice Bar. The rooms are very efficient but good. The Staff at the Bar as at the Reception too is a little bit slow. We had a good stay, thanx!

  • 3/5 Angela N. 1 year ago on Google
The people at the reception are great, the rooms are tiny but fine with newly fitted bathrooms. However, the house keeping services have room for improvement especially regarding the cleanliness of the rooms and ensuring that linen is changed as needed

  • 5/5 yvan l. 2 years ago on Google
Great location, great looking place based on fake containers, great public spaces including an interesting and well appointed bar and a working space. It is clean and the room we tried was small ( that is the idea) but well designed and efficient. Even the small bathroom was perfectly adequate. Well worth the price for Tel Aviv. I would definity choose that option over most of the overpriced hotel in the city if the hotel is not the main focus of your visit but the museums, beaches, eating place...

  • 1/5 מנשה . 2 years ago on Google
Nice concept, but very noisy, doors don't lock very well and the receptionist was rather rude. There are better options for the same price.

Cool place, fun performance on Thursday night, nice bar and lobby, and my private room was very nice for the price; but check in was one of the slowest processes ever, and the bed was SO HARD and uncomfortable. There’s a reason the key cards say “Never Go To Sleep” because you won’t on these beds…

  • 4/5 JoeL A. 1 year ago on Google
Really nice little hostel, staff is nice and helpful, the room we had was well designed and spacious. You can't beat the location and atmosphere

  • 5/5 Maja K. 1 year ago on Google
very good Hostel, basic room, good service, good breakfast, beautiful Rezeption Area and Interior Design!

  • 4/5 Ellie G. 1 year ago on Google
Love the overall vibe and style of this place! Some rooms are personal rooms which is great! Very reasonable prices and great rooms! The only downside is the kitchen for customers because it is small and they don’t clean the fridges or stoves. They also rarely have the silverware you need. Other than that, the rooms were very nice. I’ve stayed in a single room and a 3 bed room. Both have a bathroom and shower! It’s also a great location! Right next to the boardwalk and the beach! There is a bar and food which is great to have so we don’t need to go out. There’s also a sitting room with comfy bean bags. Definitely would recommend staying here or coming for the bar or their events.
