Cute little place, I had the spicy chicken sandwich which was awesome with some Arak lemonade cocktail to go with. It was delicious :) 2021 update: just made a Wolt order to the beach for some sandwiches and it was perfect. Best idea ever. The sabich and spicy chicken sandwiches rocked, and I recommend adding an avocado topping to the chicken sandwich, it really pumped it up :) 2022 update: sat for breakfast on a Saturday morning, the service was super fast. Was a bit packed but nice overall.

No BS- it's awesome, but not the best. It ticks a lot of boxes, the biggest one is that it opens at 6am!! So when your hotel coffee sucks, this does the trick. That also means, all other "best" coffee are disqualified if you can't get it when you need it. It's not cheap, but i got straight forward service, a good street side seat, hanging out at a great community, chomping on good grub, seeing well-behaved best doggos.... it's near a gym and a super market if that maters you to... and i can smoke. What else is there to want? More than a must-visit, this is a geat repeat place.

A 24/7 restaurant near my hotel was just what I was looking for. They have menus in English. Very helpful. I ordered their signature breakfast which was a typical Israeli breakfast. It was delicious!! Going back shortly!!!

This cafe is the best I have been to in Tel Aviv. It has wonderful food, warm staff and a pretty environment. I have enjoyed myself thoroughly and so glad to chance upon this place. My 3rd time here in one week and it never disappoints

The menu has a nice variety of options, rice based meals, salads and sandwiches with lots of vegan options, even including Vegan Shwarma. The menu even specifies which dishes are served hot. Personally, I chose the Asian Chicken Salad. It was a reasonably generous portion, very fresh and tasted perfectly nice. The waiting staff even offered me some fresh bread to have on the side, for free and they casually offered myself and everyone else in the cafe a complimentary cup of tea with lemon and mint. Interestingly Under The Tree actually segregates the smoking area of the cafe which is definitely important for a lot of people. Most of the building is semi outdoors with very large windows, letting in lots of natural light. Also there are heaters for the winter and fans for the summer. In terms of working from your laptop here, there is really good access to plug points to charge your phone/laptop. Plus the internet is fast. I really recommend a visit to this place if you are nearby and need somewhere to work from your laptop.

I tried out Under the Tree today -- checking to see if it's REALLY a 24/7 place (except Fri night) and would be suitable for an earrrrrrly breakfast next week to meet friends staying at a nearby hotel and have to lead a tour group at 7:30. Yes indeed. They have a broad spicy (optional) menu -- which I look forward to exploring -- but today there were reasons not to -- so I ordered the tuna salad. What could be simpler or more bland? But the tuna, though canned variety, was the most delicious I've tasted in some time. And the almonds freshly sliced and the vegetables tasty. Probably their LEAST imaginative dish -- but delivered way above expectations. The staff was unusually attentive (not annoyingly so). I definitely felt that they cared about everything that happens there. I look forward to next week's delicious breakfast opportunity. (And my daughter, who has been in Tel Aviv a lot longer than we had, said, "sure I know Under the Tree. I've ordered lunch from them sometimes.". She gets a nice allowance for lunch from her company -- can choose anywhere and anything she likes. My conversation led to a complimentary cookie. But I would have written this nice review anyway. (But the cookie was just right to cap things off.)

Great first courses and sandwiches. Cheap prices like Aroma. Open 24/7. Also despite being self-serving and cheap like Aroma, people will still often be quick to clean your table or bring stuff to you if you don’t. I love how healthy a lot of the stuff they have are, and I also love how they serve olives with all the toasts and sandwiches. I come there often late night, when I want to study and everything is closed. Unfortunately though, alcoholic drinks are relatively limited if you want to party late night.

Not far from the center of TLV, this is a sweet sweet place to sit with friends, read or sit with your laptop and get some work done! The music is great - exactly the right volume so you can talk while not being distracted by others talking, and with great variety - it's self-service yet the staff is very nice and helpful, and the coffee is decent. I did a full work day there with a couple of friends and really enjoyed myself ✌️ there's even a bench in front of the place where i could go and sit alone when i had to take a private call.
