We stopped at Hudon’s Brasserie for dinner after a long day in Tel Aviv swimming. I’d been really looking forward to trying this place based on reviews and it did not disappoint. We had the charred entricot and Mediterranean greens as appetizers; the steak was out of this world . We came in with a hunger for steak but after seeing several bacon cheeseburgers delivered to the area tables, we ordered those instead. Great choices. The burgers were insanely good. I never order burgers anywhere cause I’m always disappointed since I cook pretty great ones at home . My burger was a little undercooked but I’m fine with that, it was still delicious. 5/5 across the board. The service was fantastic. 5/5 Bathroom were clean. 5/5 5 stars, no question. Starters where less then ok: "New York Windows" - sauce was wayyy too aggressive and not balanced well. The other starter "ribeye crust" was really bad. Desserts: Cheesecake was good and a bit on the sour side. Cream brulee was too warm inside and runny. Pecan cake was tasty but a bit too hard instead of moist. To sum it up: not sure if it's a certain night that we visited that was just ok, because we heard sooo many good things about this restaurant, but our personal feeling was ok and not more. And for the price we paid we expected more. I hope that the owners will understand my review and I'm sorry if it's too harsh.
