Avoid this place. I have traveled for a very long time in different countries and visited hostals from Barcelona to Cuzco... and this is single handedly the most horrible one I've stayed in. It's dirty, not taken care of. The bathrooms are horrible (pictures). There is humidity in the carpets and corridors, and the kitchen is disgusting full of dirt and abandoned (pictures). I found more than one person sleeping in my dorm per bed (pictures), and it was full of garbage. Do avoid staying here if you can. The location is very good and the personal friendly it is really a pity that is so abandoned. I imagine the managers are very incompetent, or they don't have money, and the property is just falling apart.

Arrived in Telaviv I came across this hostel because of the reviews, I was there early so it took almost 1,5 h waited for a bed space to be free . I booked as a walk in at the reception . As i finally can move in the room , it was so disappointe . calls itself a boutique hostel and the pictures don't even match the same on booking . Arrived in the room, there wasn't even bed linen, for which the lady at the reception apologized after my complain. The place need a renovation , and i was just thinking what happened the time i waited for the room . Like the room was terrible , bad smell also . I didn't get my money back for the 2 minutes I was in the room. Because I didn't pay in cash and the reservation . That was an experience 👎🏾

Love the vibes in 180!!! All the people from the staff are kind and super-friendly... Cool bar downstairs, where you can eat drink and talk with people...meet new friends...nice the outside part too,to smoke and have a beer and see the sea in front of you, while have a chat and a laugh sitting on the benches! PS: you can book excursions too, directly at the reception. I've stayed there for a whole week in January,2023. Very happy! Greta from Bologna,Italy. CIAO!

I recently stayed at 180 Boutique Hostel and had a great experience. The highlight is the location which is right on the beachfront. The dorms are pretty good and cleaned daily. It has a nice restaurant and areas to chill out. The bathrooms were a bit dirty, which was the only downside. What it takes though for a hostel to reach that next level is the vibe and culture. On the first day, a staff member that hosts activities, Zasha, enthusiastically came up to me and invited me on a Free Jaffa Tour. It immediately made me feel welcome in the hostel. The tour was amazing (photos attached). We saw the old architecture, clock tower, ate traditional food, watched the sunset and went to a moonlight cinema. Zasha didn’t feel like our tour guide, but more a friend. She was so fun, kind, and joyful to all those she interacted with in the hostel. I think having people like her are essential at hostels around the world, to create that vibe and culture that young travellers are looking for. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights at 180 hostel and loved the location, literally across the road from the beach. We had a private room with en suite that was basic but everything we needed was there. Breakfast was between 7-9 and you could choose from a choice of sandwiches/muesli/croissant with freshly pressed juice (the lemon is amazing!) and coffee/tea. There is a room to leave your luggage if you need to. Right across the road you’ll find a manned beach with loungers/umbrellas. You need to go to the blue machine to pay for them. A lounger was 8ISL for the day and an umbrella was 6ISL.

Dirtiest hostel i have seen in Tel Aviv. No privacy Rooms due to no curtains at the beds and super weird, drunk (and old) people in the hostel. Seems like it is more used as a tramp hideout less than a backpacker hostel. Toilets are absolutely dirty and not cared of. Bed was already occupied when I arrived. No washingmashines….Showers ok. Staff is very friendly though. For me my experience was annoying.

We should have checked the 1 star ratings on google! The location of the hostel is great (it was perfect for us) and the front desk and restaurant employees are very, very friendly and do a great job (as far as the circumstances allow them). The biggest problem for us was that the cleaning employees are doing a terrible job. IMHO it couldn't be any worse. Our room was dirty when we arrived and not cleaned at all. The sheets (made of polyester) and the towels were used. There was trash on the floor. There even was old dried out pee on the toilet seat. I've asked a cleaning employee to clean the room and he literally just swiped away one of those pee drops. For personal reasons we switched to another reason without any ladders. And yes the new room was cleaned but all rooms were cleaned unprofessionally. The rooms look better on the photos than they really are. Electricity plugs and the wall lamps in a pretty bad condition and the toilet seat was unstable. We booked a room with breakfast for 10 days and one reason for our decision was that some reviews said that the breakfast is great. Maybe the breakfast is great but we could only choose from 4 different types of panini sandwiches. The sandwich es were really good, but that's not a great (included) breakfast to me. Also there's no elevator and the ceilings are pretty high. The front desk and restaurant employees deserve at least a 5 star rating, but the hostel itself unfortunately deserves 1 Star even considering the great locstion.

This hostel does not consider it necessary to respond to messages sent through Booking, correspondence is conducted only through What's App. Payment only for the entire period of stay at once, the administration is not customer-oriented and does not meet you halfway if you want to pay first part of the reservation, and then the remainder. Purity is 2.5 out of 5. The rooms are rarely cleaned and almost not ventilated. The showers are dirty. There is not a single hook, hanger or wardrobe in the rooms, so the residents' sweaty and unpleasant-smelling clothes lie right on the floor. There is no washing machine either. One of the positive aspects is the spacious lobby and the location. The administration is full of snobbery and is doing you a favor by letting you settle with them. I don't recommend it

When I first come to hostel it has nice location near the beach. I go to check in and it takes 3 hours for my room to be ready, ok no problem I go to the beach. I come back 3 hours and get my luggage. No elevator so I have to carry all my luggage up 3-4 flights of stairs. No big deal. I go to my room, the door handles are rusty, window is dirty, floor has not been sweeped, holes and stains in the walls. It’s ok.. I go to shower, the shower floods the bathroom. I take my towel, there are long hairs that aren’t mine and insect on the towel. Many stains almost like they did not even wash it. Overall this hostel is very dirty and needs much renovation. Get new towels because each towel has brown stains on it.. CLEAN THE FLOORS! I do not like seeing crumbs and hairs on the floor. And fix the rusty handles and the holes in the wall. Thank you 😊

The rooms are neat and the whole hostel is quite and calm. It's at a great location, just by the beach. The staff were amazing. The only downside is the bathroom and toilet are not inside the dorms for the shared bunks and the toilets bathroom are waterlogged and very small. You hardly find washing liquids most of the time. I guess the experience will be different if you are book a room for yourself.

The location of the hostel was definitely 5 star, perfect for accessing the beach and the main centre. It was a clean hostel and the showers were hot and plenty available. The communal kitchen was kitted out well, shame people often didn’t clean up after themselves! Free tea and coffee was a huge bonus. The 8 person dorm rooms were tidy and modern and there were free ear plugs to deal with snorers.

It’s a strange place, the reception guys were nice and friendly, but the vibe of the place is awful, the door to the room creaked and you could hear everyone who came at night, or left/entered; when you turn over on the upper bed, the lower bed automatically moves too (and vice versa), it was very disturbing to sleep, I almost didn't sleep all night, the energy of the place is not good. There were many guys in the hostel who looked at me like an animal in a zoo! just stared non-stop! I even had to change a room because my roommate named Saeed kept staring at me without saying anything, just staring! The cleaner guy is a very unpleasant guy, he stared at me like all the time! he entered the women's bathroom, like to clean up when we girls brush teeth in the morning, etc., then I came back to the room - and he followed like to clean there! After I would go into the kitchen - and he followed and would stare at me like a hungry dog! very unpleasant vibe of the place! Wi-Fi did not work well, for these money I don’t recommend this hostel, also you need to pay separately for the locker

I came back one evening to find that the room I had been staying at (and where I was planning on sleeping that night) had been completely filled. There was a man sleeping in my bed using my stuff. When I told the staff, they were incredibly rude and refused a refund. I was not able to find a place to sleep that night.

At a crossing to a neat and comfortable beach, and very close to lots of bus lines that reach all over the city, there is a guard at the entrance and answer at all hours of the day and night, very clean and there are family areas with beanbag armchairs and a fully equipped kitchen. 10/10 location, great atmosphere, facilities and rooms and nice service. I want to point out specifically Meshi who was a great help to me and my mother. But even beyond that, Meshi with her charming music and character, created a memorable experience for us. I will definitely come back to this hostel if I get the chance.

Hostel overall as well as private room worn out, outdated, dirty with clear marks of mold. AC situated in front of bed so easy to get sick from stream of cold air. No proper ventilation of the room or bathroom causing for the room to get humid. Mediocre quality of bed. Very low quality linen and toiletries. On flip side very good location, nice staff and very good breakfast. I totally get hostel concept, but there should be clear line between “dirty” and “worn out” and “basic”.

The location and staff are great. That’s the good part. And that’s the only reason I’m giving 2 stars and not 1. I had a private room with my partner on the 3rd floor. I guess I should have checked but this is an ALL AGES hostel. Which means children are allowed. Usually this is not a big problem but there must have been 15 children in the same area as our room and for 2 days straight those kids were yelling and screaming literally right outside our door. I don’t know where the parents were but this is so disrespectful for anyone trying to relax. The walls are very thin! I came out one evening to the kids literally playing soccer in the hallway outside our room. I’m not one to complain but I had to say something to the front desk and they did absolutely nothing. It literally felt like there was a daycare running outside of my room. It completely ruined my experience here at 180 and I won’t be back. Like I said, the staff and location are great but allowing children to treat a hostel as their playground is not acceptable. This hostel should clearly state that it is ALL AGES

Excellent location, amazingly attentive staff and quality of the restaurant was great! Very noisy place. Doors and rooms were not sound proof so we kept waking up from the vibration of the floors and ceiling from noises from neighbouring rooms. Bring earplugs! Bed mattresses were worn out, towels were not enough and also worn out.

I’ve only ever stayed at hotels so this was my first time at a hostel and I will never stay anywhere else in Tel Aviv. The location being on the beach is awesome, but the sense of community between guests and staff is even better. In particular, my tours with Zasha were the highlights of my entire trip. Many people like their job, but Zasha’s personal commitment (financially, time-wise, and emotionally) is really touching. It’s more than a job for her, and that was very clear. I’ll carry her passion for Israel with me for a very long time. Ariel and Racheli were also very helpful with accommodations and information. I will most certainly be back.

This is the place to be. Reception stays open 24/7. The rooms, bathrooms and showers are cleaned and house keeping is done every day. Rooms are air-conditioned and have safety lockers. Great location, right on the beach, shops and restaurants just around the corner. The hostel has a bar/restaurant with great food and drinks open until 11 every night. Sitting in the lobby or at the bar is a great opportunity to start conversations with other guests and make new friends. The hostel staff is amazing, everyone is so helpful and always smiling. The team offers tours and organizes activities almost every day to network and keep guest entertained. My favorite was the Jaffa sunset tour with Zasha. Thank you to everyone. I cant wait to be back soon. Special thank you to Zasha, Danny, Rachely. Love you guys.

Family trip to Israel, I've been before, chose this to be beach front with easy access to the city. Had a family room with Double Bed, Bunk Bed and Single Bed for the four of us. Loads of space, room 310 has sea view too. Separate shower room and toilet room. Comfortable room with Air Conditioning, USB charging points, wardrobe, coffee table and chairs. Chose option with breakfast included, recommend it, choice of hot drinks, fruit juices, muesli, croissants, panini etc. Coffee is great and I am fussy. Located opposite Jerusalem Beach, bus 4 opposite will take you to Ha'Hagana train station, where you can get train direct to airport and on to Jerusalem. Travel ticket 42 NIS each for the day including Jerusalem, buy in Tourist Information near Hostel or train station. Top up card next day for 5.90 NIS for daily travel in Tel Aviv.

As a client I deserve respect, even more if I give it. I stayed only one night during we have diferents type of feeling. Positive: The girl at the reception, knowing that it was our first time in Tel Aviv, changed our room to one with a sea view so that we could enjoy it, and she lent us her personal umbrella to go for a walk (it was raining). At night the guy from the bar was also very nice to us, but... Negative: the next morning, during breakfast, the guy who was in charge of serving breakfast was very rude. I had doubts if the breakfast that my reservation included was the buffet that I had seen, where others were eating, or the breakfast that he offered me (select a pannini from a menu). I came closer to clarify my doubt. I told him that I had already paid for the breakfast and that if this was the one that was included, that I would not pay extra for another one, and he responded to me in a very rude and disrespectful way. He told me that we are not "thieves" here (a word that I never said or suggested). He came with the food and abruptly put it on the table, without saying a word and turned around. Kind reminder: To work in customer service you need to leave personal problems at home and treat customers with respect and tolerance.

This hostel is very welcoming and warn. The rooms are very big for the money and with a party of 5 we had good time there. The shared kitchen is very big and has everything you need. The walls between the room are too thin, so we could have heard other people talking. The shower (inside the room) had really low water pressure and wasn't properly sealed so water came out from the shower into the room itself. The first couple of hours in the hostel the locks didn't work at all and it took very long time to fix which was an annoyance to say the least. And the online listing says the hostel has a bar - which they told us when we arrived is shut down. Overall, very good value for the money. Couldn't belive it was only 250 Shekels a night for a room of 5.

I have not stayed in the hostel, but I LOVE the restaurant/bar downstairs. Excellent spot for relaxing and people watching with a nice sea breeze. The green Shakshuka is delicious and the baked camembert with onion jam is unique and super tasty. The cold coffee can be served with different plant milks and is a good size. It's just a perfect place! I would give 10 stars! Is located in an excellent area! In front of the beach . I had a wonderful time! I will come back soon and I recommend the place either in a dormitory or private room! Thank you all for the warm reception! Thank Hila, Amit, Eden, Mayan, Yael, and also one guy i don't remember his name that also helped with my suitcases. Wonderful breakfast. I felt so good! TODA RABAH !

Great value per price. Very good breakfast and excellent location. One disadvantage was that noises from the corridor/kitchen was highly transmittable into the rooms, so those who have trouble sleeping with noises should take that into consideration

Great price per value. The position is very convenient to reach out all the districts of the city, especially Old Jaffa and is in the first line of the beach. Friendly and informal young staff take care of you and suggest great adventure in town. The hostel just opened a bar inside with skilled barista and bartender that is going to delight your breakfast experience. See you soon guys

Very nice new Hostel with nice bar/cafeteria which serves excellent coffee and ciabatta sandwiches for (complementary for guests) breakfast. Super nice helpful staff, both @ reception and cafeteria. Best place with good value for money in Tel Aviv directly at Jerusalem Beach right next to the Tourist Office

The best hostel in Tel Aviv. Great for me personally as I love surfing and it is right in front of the beach. Great food, excellent service and very clean. But what made my stay unforgettable was the hospitality and generosity of one of the receptionist; Hila.

Staff are friendly and helpful, good location but no good parking options around. Nice basic breakfast. Room was really dirty lacking basic maintenance. While looking for some missing flipflop under the bed, found dirt, tooth paste and underwear of previous guests. Bathroom Niagara cover was broken and missing some parts, no window and no vent. Gave it one star rating because of the room, was really gross.

Really no complaints. The hostel was exactly as described. Not much room to leave luggage but that's expected. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Great location.

It's a nice surf spot, feels like Miami. Sea view, for real. The welcome was warm. Breakfast is included, I would say good. Friendly place, in the lobby you can stop with anyone to chat. The hostel is on average clean, a little noisy but it fits: you are on the beach :) The staff are relaxed, courteous and helpful. Some notes: the nom hostel has a lift, the rooms do not have hairdryers or hangers and hangers in general. In August it is full of families with children. Anyway, if you go on Tel Aviv in summer, it is a nice place to stay.

The stuff was really nice and always helpful. We got immediately help and were able to switch room because of a strange guy. Breakfast was really good with a variety of five or six diches.
