The place is clean but it’s the worst experience in my life, The menu doesn’t give so much detail on what you’re about to eat, and you should ask for prices cos sometimes the prices doesn’t tally with what you saw on the menu, I ended up paying extra for fresh drinks after me and my friend drank it. The prices are also expensive compared to the best restaurants in the city, for instance I can go to other restaurants and pay less with tasty food served but I was really disappointed when I saw these food I ordered and it’s expensive, these food on the picture cost 400 SDG on 10th November, 2018. I believe it’s much higher now. Trust me it’s doesn’t worth it

Nice outdoor space 😍I'd love to visit again. About the food : good but need more work. I'd recommend their mix grill dish. Negative points : order take long period. Mushroom soup is not really yummy was disappointed a little bit :( But outdoor area is just wonderful 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Also their waiters have nice attitude towards customers.

The Damascene Liwan has all the beautiful features in the most beautiful place, which gives them good health for their work

It's hard to rate things as a white woman in Sudan because I usually get better service than other people. However, I always went with Yemeni or Sudanese friends who were often treated fairly poorly by the Syrian staff (but again, they were very nice to me). I love the food, the shisha was great. It's a high class place though, so it is ridiculously expensive compared to most places I eat.

Pathetic experience! Probably best location or ambience but don’t go there if you like good service and attentiveness. The staff is lethargic and especially if you are a non Arabic speaking then forget it they will ever listen to you. I will highly recommend Dont go! ALSO CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY! They added 2 things which we never ordered.

Friendly staff, maybe they need more training but you feel cozy place , prices are inexpensive with Rich menu and nice food, I liked the place and to go again on my next to Sudan

Nice place and good food.

It is a tourist restaurant manged by a Syrian mangers . The decorations is fine and the air condition is good about the food they made a delicious grilled mixed food in a Syrian way I recommend for the dessert the Arabian ice cream it is out of the world specially when the covered it by the nuts and the pistachios . The waiter are really friendly and welcoming

Romantic place, suitable for couples, groups and families

Ideal restaurant for family outing with nice outdoor seating garden area and late night dinner as the place stays open until midnight. There is an enclosed playground area for kids. The garden layout and designs are beautiful with lights on columns. The outdoor garden is clean with plenty of seating areas. Menu prices are reasonable, but prices are indicated in Arabic only and can be inconvenient to ask to translate. It would have been helpful if there were pics next to the menu list and can become discouraging to try dishes on your own choosing without asking the waiters. The mix grill we ordered was nice with a good amount of variety and French fries on the side. The salad bowl we ordered was plenty and fresh They do not have cappuccinos, so we ordered the coffee that was available but was not as good as we expected as the Nescafe coffee used had too much residue and did not have a good taste. The strawberry juice was nice and fresh The areas surrounding the restaurant look very busy and congested and not ideal for walking around. The road was very busy as there was an outdoor market on the roads but the restaurant has a big area inside and a garden outdoor area and it is definitely worth coming back again to try the variety of dishes
