Authentic Greek food, with imported Greek yogourt from Greece & imported lamb from Australian. They make an amazing Lamb Gyros, that was a great portion (had to focus to finish it lol). I felt like I was in Greece again! Highly recommend the restaurant!!

We were 4 people and discussed this review for a long time. So, we only give 2 stars because the owner just registered us that way. From the typical Greek friendliness was absolutely nothing to see. The portions are extremely small and especially expensive for that. Taste of Musaka was good, but just enough for a child. The meat platter was very good but the price was outrageous for Thailand (480 bath for one person) The lamb kepap recommended by the owner was cooked to death, dry and tasteless After we paid over 2000 Bath we didn't even get the USO that is usual in Greek taverns. Even when we left the restaurant, neither the boss nor his wife said goodbye to us. All in all a failed evening.

We were really happy to try something different than Thai food. But the main dishes were so extremely salty it was impossible to eat, it just hurt your mouth. Unfortunately we didn't have time to complain about it as we had to hurry for a movie. It was really expensive too. I don't recommend going there

Amazing food and super friendly staff. Spyro who runs the restaurant with his family serves up the best non Thai food on the island. Highly recommend if you feel like a change from Thai food!! The cheese filo pastry and the chicken gyro were as good as the ones in Greece!

My recent visit to this Greek restaurant was simply outstanding. We ordered the chicken gyro, the halloumi gyro, and fried feta with honey and sesame for lunch. Every dish was perfectly seasoned and incredibly delicious!! WOW! I have been raving about the food all day. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I'm seriously considering returning for dinner this evening. The service was amazing with a warm and welcoming staff, the portions were generous, what else can I say? If you're in Koh Lanta and craving authentic Greek cuisine this restaurant is a must-visit! I'd give this place 10 stars if I could!

El Greco is simply a slice of Greece in the heat of Koh Lanta. Firstly, the owner makes sure you know each customer individually and you could chat for hours if you’d wish. The food here is genuinely incredible. I have now returned 3 times and will be heading there on more occasions before I leave. I recommend the chicken gyros, or the lamb gyros. They also have a small but good drinks menu and hearing the pop of a bottle of Prosecco was music to my ears! The Prosecco is good quality.

Food here was phenomenal. We needed a break from all the Thai food we've been eating so this was wonderful. The gyros here are better than any gyro I've had before! Wonderful staff as well.

I rarely write reviews but I had to share my love for this amazing restaurant. As a Greek person, I can only recommend this place. The owner is lovely, and the food exquisite! We had the fried feta, the Greek salad, the tzaziki and a chicken gyro. The pita was homemade, the feta and the yogurt were of amazing quality and the owner even made me a frappé. Do yourself a favor and pay this magical place a visit.

This place deserves 5 stars. The food is amazing and the owners are so lovely and nice. If you like to eat Greek, try this because it's so delicious and many vegetarian choices. I loved it!

I almost lost my hope that expats can cook good food.. until I visited greek taverna. The food taste so good and size is also perfect. Design and atmosphere inside the resto was good. The owner was kind and he accepted our request to get extra rice on dish.

wow! this is one of the best greek restaurant’s we’ve ever been to (and we have been to a lot). some of the restaurants in greece didn’t even have such a good moussaka and the chicken gyros was also very delicious! the staff was friendly as well. If we have time we will definitely come back. you have to try it!!

the most authentic greek food you’ll find outside of greece. i got the chicken gyros and it was huge!! my belly and i are very happy. the flavor is on point and maria the owner is so lovely. her dog pepsi is a lover. highly recommend!

Incredible Greek meal - fancied a change from Thai. We got the baked feta and chicken gyros each and the quality and taste was phenomenal. The guys running the restaurant are friendly and welcoming. We didn’t have any wine but it looked great on other patron’s tables. 10/10

After 6 weeks of traveling Southeast Asia we really enjoyed the change of scenery in this Greek restaurant, owned by a kind and welcoming Greek couple! We visit Greece every year and were amazed at how authentic everything tastes, just like a little piece of Greece in Thailand. We’re definitely coming back here, highly recommend!

Really tasty and fresh food. Big portion sizes too! Appreciated the eggplant ball as a vegetarian option for the gyro wrap as some restaurants just offer veggies in a wrap. The man running it was friendly and nice to chat with.

It's one of the best greek meal I've ever had. The food was so fresh and good. We could feel the love put in it. Even my picky child loved it and asked to come back for dinner 😁 the service and atmosphere where great. Highly recommended

Fried feta with honey is very delicious. Be careful - clarify ingredients. They don't have any pictures in the menu, so it's very hard to catch. A lot of dishes are VERY oily. The portions are not very large. Better double check your order before it will get to the kitchen.

Everything was spectacular. We had the meze meat platter (pictured) and the halloumi, and were so full and satisfied. The owner, Maria, was so lovely and friendly. Cannot recommended this place more! Will be back next time we travel to Koh Lanta.

I just had the best chicken gyros since ages, so am very happy. Lovely greek restaurant on Koh Lanta. Super friendly owner and the food is cooked to perfection. There a cute dog named Pepsi. The best place in town at the moment.

We had the lamb and chicken gyros and it was very good, will definitely be back for the food. That said, I understand that Lanta has a very long low season so maybe they’re simply surviving (like most other restaurants on the island these days) But unfortunately, I can’t give more than 4 stars because the service and premises were lacking. So definitely go for the food, but not a place for a romantic dinner.

Stumbled across this restaurant in the afternoon looking for a cool place to have a drink. The smell of cooking food was incredible and we decided to come back for our evening meal. It didn't disappoint, even went above expectations. Best Greek food I've ever eaten and one of my favorite dinners during our stay in Thailand. Sad I am leaving Koh Lanta tomorrow and won't have the time to visit this cracking restaurant again.

Wow! I am a Greek person and it was such a surprise to find a Greek restaurant in Thailand! To be honest the food taste even better than most Greek places. For sure is a high quality of a Greek taste and I highly recommend it! Thank you Maria for giving us a Greek flavor in Thailand!!

Not enough good things to say about El Greco! The food portions are huge and tasty and the staff and owner do a great job making you feel like your welcome. The owners are from Greece. I will be coming back to el Greco

We have just eaten at El Greco and it was exceptional. Staff were really friendly and the food was amazing. We had lamb giros (pull apart tender lamb) chicken giros, Greek meatballs and tsatsiki with pita. All of it was superb. Highly recommend.

I have no idea why this place is not packed with people... The food is really good and the portion size is very big, we had the lamb giros, musaka, greek salad and the fried fetta. The fried fetta is our favorite in every Greek restaurant, but the musaka here was better then most musaka we had in Greece.

The Giros with Lamb is awesome, but pretty much everything is. Also, they make their own Greek yogurt which is amazing and we loved it with some light honey. Simply amazing, like being in a Mykonos restaurant (or even better) but thousands of kilometers away. Great hospitality by the owner and their staff. Must try if you are in Koh Lanta!!

I stopped by for a takeaway chicken gyros and it was amazing! Huge portion and very generous with the chicken! Would have minus a star as they left the onion in when I said no onion, but it was fine I just picked it out! They were so lovely if I had noticed before I left I’m sure they would have rectified immediately!
