The Kitchen is finally open again after 2 years! We had dinner there tonight and it was as incredible as it’s always been. Clean, tasty, fresh & healthy Thai cuisine. We had the green curry with pork, snapper curry and friend papaya shrimp salad. And of course, the owners are as lovely as ever! Until Dec 1, 2022 they are open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for dinner. After December 1, 2022 they’ll be open every day (except Tuesday) for dinner. Give it a try! Delicious.

Possibly the best restaurant on the island.... However service is quite slow when busy, expect to wait if they are busy. But it's worth the wait.

Food, service, ambiance all fantastic. We enjoyed the food so much we ordered more. We think this was our best Thai meal to date in Thailand. We shared the spring rolls and chicken for starter and had the phad Thai with prawn and curry for main. Such great quality food and drink for very good prices.

This restaurant was clean and well decorated. Staff was friendly, very accommodating and thoughtful. My friend wasn't feeling well and I wanted to order noodle soup as takeaway for her. They didn't have it on the menu, but recommended the clear soup with addition of noodles, this was nicely packed and only cooked at the end of my meal so I could take it back to her hot. One of the best green curries I've tasted in Thailand and other parts of Asia. Crispy pork was fabulous, being crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, wasn't too salty either. Desserts were fantastic too. Order the red ruby and banana in coconut milk.

Delicious Thai cuisine with chilling vibes atmosphere. Great hospitality, warm welcome and great cocktails. Tab Tim krob is must to try for dessert with full creamy and sweetness.

So far so good. The whole meal was great. 4 of us cleaned our plates! The passion fruit Mango shake is a must. The Thai iced milk tea is not too sweet. Nothing critical to say. There are a few friendly cats around and the road noise can be loud. It is a spectacular garden seating area.

Ended up at The Kitchen opportunistically and it turned out to be a meal we won’t forget! The place was beautifully and tastefully put together, with outdoor (and sheltered) seats for that cosy vibe. We ordered the massaman chicken curry, crispy pork and seafood soup, which were all very delicious that we finished every last bit. The crispy pork was such a stand out dish — the skin was cooked perfectly; crispy and crackling, and the meat remained absolutely soft and juicy, yet it was not oily at all. The owners were also really friendly, which made the whole experience wonderful!

Amazing restaurant with spectacular food that never disappoints. Had the new dish (not on menu but promoted on FB page) Pad Cha last night. Aromatic and delicate with zing of chilli and black pepper that adds some flavoursome fire to the palate without overwhelming the beautifully cooked snapper. Recommend :-) Also love Fried Som Tum (crispy papaya salad) and crispy Pork Belly. And tried Chicken massaman - all delicious.

I absolutely loved this place and had dinner here 4-5 times during my two week stay on the island. A cozy place with excellent food, ran by a super friendly family. Possibly my favourite restaurant on my trip so far. The Kitchen is very popular - for good reason - and it fills up quickly. So either come here before 19 or after 21, or make a reservation.

Hands down the best Thai food on Lanta! The restaurant is super cozy and beautifully built and run by a lovely family! If I could I would eat their massaman curry every day! Their spring rolls, phad thai, spicy glass noodle sallad and crispy pork is also to die for!

Friendly staff albeit seeming quite rushed off their feet with how busy the restaurant was! They kindly gave us a puzzle game to play and packaged up my boyfriends meal when he had to leave to takeaway. I had a green curry - it was super yum!

What a lovely experience. Fabulous food with many of options (meats, vegetarian, or vegan), friendly English speaking swift service, relaxing and modern atmosphere that uses all the good nature materials and styles that the island has to offer. I paid 260 THB for a vegan green curry with steamed rice, a house made lemonade with lemon, and a traditional Thai desert (beautiful and delicious). The only downside (probably during the busy day) is that its located at the main street. As I had dinner the traffic was slow and the nice background music was able to fill the place with additional atmosphere. I will not be surprised if this place will turn out to be one of the go-to restaurants on the island - even if you don't have sand under your feet while dining.

Omg! So good! We loved this place as its Thai cuisine is traditional with a bit of a fun twist. Plus all staff is incredibly friendly and going above and beyond with their humor, knowledge and kindness! We will certainly be back. We can highly recommend their crispy papaya salad as a starter and their Chu Chi white snapper! And not to forget their ice tea and cocktails are delicious too! You can probably tell, we are fans 😂

By far the best curries you can taste on Koh Lanta. Incredibly nice host and super cozy atmosphere. If you’re a vegetarian foodie like me this is a must go. Every curry can be ordered with tofu and vegetables. Yum.

Just perfect! Reasonably priced, nice place to sit, great really friendly staff and most importantly the food is very good. We had the green curry and pad thai. They accept creditcards which is a plus. We also got to play the game 4 in a row that was put on our table. Nice touch! We might be back tomorrow :) Update: We did come back again and it was as good of an experience. They also remembered us and asked if we wanted the same table. Normally I like to try something new each day, but this restaurant is great. Also got a puzzle to solve this time.

What an amazing experience. The cutest decor. Relaxed atmosphere. And the food!!! Must try dishes: pork laarb and white snapper curry - OMG! So delicious. The Shrimp pad Thai was best I’ve had on the island. An absolutely gem of a place. And the staff - most lovely!

Best restaurant in koh Lanta. Words really cannot describe how good the food is at this restaurant, this restaurant is on another level compared to all other restaurants in Thailand. I highly recommend the paneng and the massaman curry, it is really something special about them. Owners is super friendly and the restaurant has a nice garden feeling to it.

Very friendly staff and the food is incredible. Prices are also great so I highly recommend this restaurant.

Very very good authentic Thai food at a very reasonable price. I had the Penang curry which was excellent. I also tried the Green curry which was also excellent. Only disappointment came from my daughter who was unable to find a vegetarian dish!

Rate no. 1 Thai food place during my stay. The passion fruit Mojito was the best I have ever had!!

Our dinner at The Kitchen Restaurant was very pleasant. The food is very delicious and more than worth the price - which still is at a very reasonable level anyways. The owners are unbelievable friendly and care so much that we directly felt comfortable... Of course we went there the next night again.

This is the 4th time here and the quality and consistency of great meals is high. I recommend the pork belly. A must have here but we haven't gone wrong with any dish ordered.

Amazing staff, careful with the level of spice that you order. They even brought us carrots to calm the heat :) other than that the food is delicious, recommend the seasonal fruit plate

Great food and super friendly attentive service! They had mozzie coils out and even the bathrooms were clean👍🏻 good for couples and families alike. Would definitely recommend!! Btw give the thai ice milk tea a go if u need a sweet fix!

I was not very pleased with the food. We had to wait almost 45 min before we got our appetizer. The porkbelly was nice but we didn't like the sauce with it at all. And then the main course came 5 min later and we were disappointed. We had ordered stir fry chicken with oyster sauce. And we got steamed chicken in a very light sauce. The fried rice actually had more flavor, and that's not saying much. It was okay but for me there was no love in it (and no spice )
