Don't
get
me
wrong,
we
spent
8
lovely
nights
at
this
property
on
a
resort
holiday
in
Thailand
with
a
toddler
and
friends.
The
staff
are
excellent
at
this
property
and
we
were
always
met
with
smiles
and
no
request
was
too
difficult
for
them
to
do.
As
the
property
was
quite
large
(but
very
beautiful
and
well
maintained
grounds),
a
buggy
was
always
available
to
help.
They
have
a
great
gym,
kids
club,
pool
and
beach
area,
and
club
lounge
access
was
great
value
for
money.
The
beds
were
super
comfortable,
and
the
rooms
were
impeccably
clean
despite
so
many
bugs
and
geckos
outside
our
room
we
didn't
have
a
single
problem
with
any
pests
in
the
room.
Now
for
the
cons,
and
unfortunately
they
are
the
reason
for
the
average
rating.
Unfortunately,
the
hotel
room
is
extremely
dated
and
is
in
desperate
need
of
refurbishment.
The
furniture
in
the
room
is
too
old
and
needs
to
be
updated.
Food
options
are
super
limited
as
well,
and
the
food
quality
wasn't
amazing
and
what
you'd
expect
of
a
5
star
hotel.
They
host
a
beach
BBQ
3
times
a
week
and
the
one
time
we
went
it
was
completely
inedible.
Breakfast
buffet
isn't
as
extensive
as
some
other
5
star
properties
in
Thailand,
and
room
service
options
are
limited
to
Indian,
Thai,
and
only
4-5
international
dishes.
You
can't
even
order
a
pizza
to
the
room.
I
got
so
bored
of
solely
eating
butter
chicken
for
7
days
as
I
am
extremely
picky
and
couldn't
always
make
my
way
down
to
the
restaurants
to
have
something
else.
More
and
better
dining
options
are
needed.
All
in
all,
I
would
revisit
this
property
as
Krabi
seems
to
have
limited
5
star
properties
that
are
affordable
luxury,
so
it
seems
this
hotel
has
carved
itself
a
niche
for
travelers
looking
for
luxury,
but
weary
of
budget.
Other
5
stars
such
as
the
Sofitel
lack
a
beach,
while
Ritz
Carlton
and
Banyan
Tree
are
insanely
priced.
This
could
be
why
Dusit
manages
to
get
away
with
sub-par
food
and
room
furnishings.
