Quite new shopping mall with on the G floor a food market with all kind of (local) food for reasonable prices and souvenirs. The rest of the mall is for all the big and expensive fashion labels.

We ate here every day for like a week so here are the best places we liked: 1. Chicken rice ALL the way at the far end (I'm from Singapore and this one had delicious hot soup and chili sauce!!!) 2. Mango sticky rice - opposite the Japanese dining area Rose Dining when you walk in - perfectly ripe mango with rice that just fell apart 3. Fish curry on rice noodles (first standalone place on the left when you come in) - has its own dining area and lots of herbs you can add to your bowl - ate it twice!! 4. Fish and prawn crackers! You'll see it when you walk in on the left 5. Pandan cake stalls in the centre aisle on the right side - flat one has coconut in it - great when it's crispy!! 6. Whole roast pig towards the end on the left. A bit cold but nice when you take out the fat to get the crispy crackling and dip it in the chilli sauce 7. Papaya salad - served from the boat - nice contrast from the rest

Great food experience at the iconsiam mall! Love the retro and classic fill of the food stalls. The food is smaller in portion just to let you know. The outdoor veranda is too warm in the evening. The upper floors are all the high end stalls and brands. I will prob not come back here if I’m not nearby

Great place to visit! Food not necessarily the best but it’s a good place to try all sorts of Thai food. Huge place, may be hard to find a seat on the ground floor. Look out for stairs that brings you up to level 2 where there are plenty of seats. Much less crowded there. This place is easily accessible by BTS or taxi. Walk straight in from the taxi stand. Great place to buy souvenirs and traditional Thai crafts. Do expect the prices here to be more expensive then outside.

Awesome food court. There are a lot of food stalls, souvenir shops and local fruits perfect for shakes and juices. Food are not that expensive too here. This is located in icon Siam which is a great mall. Very high end shop. This is also accessible via ferry. Great for tourists too. The food court can be crowded even in weekdays.

Amazing. Love the concept of an indoor “floating” market. They have such wonderful sellers/kiosks and it’s the perfect place for quality souvenirs and Thai products. Even the bathrooms are beautiful! Travel IG: @explorewithlorr

It is located inside Iconsiam to attract people by market with street food or stores. So it is quite nice to shop or enjoy luxurious mall in Iconsiam and street or Thai local items at the same time at same place. Prices are not as cheap as they are in the real street, but it is ok becasue we can enjoy in a good and air-conditioned environment at this Sook Siam. It may not be a must visit place by itself, but you should when you visit Iconsiam.

Probably the best food court in Thailand and maybe the world. All the Thai food you can think of and dream of are here. You must come with an empty stomach. 😏 Expensive as compared to other area, but ambience, atmosphere and vibe make it up for your money. And taking a ferry from Thaksin Pier completed the whole Thai experience.

Incredible shopping / food stall setup in luxurious mall. Lot of local food, local stuff that you can find here. Worth your time to experience all the things they offer in this sook. If you have only short time to visit Bangkok and wants to immerse yourself briefly into Thai culture, food and buy some souvenirs, you should absolutely visit this place. Enjoy!

Order: Spicy Thai Basil Chicken (Pad Krapow Gai), Tom Yum Soup (Tom Yum Goong) & Blended Watermelon Slurpee Notes: - Place: Sooksiam was a large place, great for exploring different options. There are different stalls that serve food and souviniers. It feels like a marketplace but in the basement of ICON SIAM. - Food: The food we tried was very spicy and cooked on the spot, we got from two different stalls and got: Spicy Thai Basil Chicken (Pad Krapow Gai), Tom Yum Soup (Tom Yum Goong) & Blended Watermelon Slurpee. Overall, it's worth adding to the itinerary to try out the place! There were lots of stalls with interesting food / snack and more.

ICONSIAM have teamed up with four leading food business concerns to organise a grand vegetarian festival from 29 September to 4 October. This event is a collaboration among ICONSIAM, Bangkok’s world-class riverside shopping centre; Thai Agri Foods PCL, the maker of Real Thai products; KCG Corporation; Thai Thepros PCL, the producer of Golden Mountain Sauce; and MMP Corporation. The ‘ICONSIAM Jae Sathaan Phop,’ literally translated as the vegetarian {festival} that shivers the Earth, will be held at SOOKSIAM, the traditional Thai-themed marketplace on the G floor of ICONSIAM on the Thon Buri side of the capital. It will be offering more than 1,000 veggie dishes at the SOOKSIAM featuring lively Chinese style atmosphere with yellow lanterns and the Jae flags.

Easily the best thing about Icon Siam. The food court here is just simply amazing and an overload of food sensation. Most things here are very cheap. I bought some hot kuai tiao noodle soup for 60 THB and a Thai dessert drink for 20 THB. The crispy pork was a little more expensive at 200 THB. The only criticism here is trying to get a table can be a little hard, but other than that this place is just simply amazing.

One of a MUST GO place for tourist who wants to get the thai ambience in a comfort manner! And if you dont have much time to explore Bangkok, here is the place! Tourist Friendly absolutely. Why here? - located in ICONSIAM, one of the biggest and modern shopping mall in Asia. - they have:- the indoor floating market, the stalls of authenthic and tastebud friendly of thai traditional food and snacks. -price affordable even for a budget trip. -great place and nice pictures for ootd and for instagramer! -here, all in one and you can escape from the heat outside. -despite indoor, crowd with people, it is still better than swarming under the hot sun. - whenever you are tired of the authenticity vibes, you can always divert to the shopping mall upstairs, Get up to level 7, and enjoy the magnificent view of chao phraya river and the great city of bangkok in the background. Muslim friends, No worries, some of the food are HALAL. You just need to find one. To pray, there is prayer room available at the basement at A1 area. Recommended!!!!

This is a luxurious mall with the beautiful decor, stunning lighting and soothing music wonderful miniatures, indoor “floating” market, gorgeous kiosks (stalls) and colourful fountain show in the evening. The outdoor area also filled with many installations. Even the bathrooms are beautiful! . Best to explore the upper levels where you get a good view of the river and leisurely stroll around and enjoy shopping of Thai souvenirs, gifts and quality products in a reasonable price. . Then come in the basement to try some authentic Thai traditional food from beverages to snacks to desserts to ice creams etc. . You can head over here through their free boat taxi. Even if you’re tired, you can even enjoy really cheap Thai massage here. it’s really a fabulous experience in a shopping mall. This is also a very good place to take pictures indoor-outdoor which shows really “Thai atmosphere“. . For tourist, do remember to get the tourist card. There is a booth where you can get the card instantly. Will definitely visit this place again whenever I visit Bangkok.

If you’re in Icon Siam, make sure to check out Sook Siam because there’s so much food you can try at great price points. There’s all kinds of street food including mango sticky rice for 100 baht and different restaurants as well, all in a traditional Thai set up. Very cute!

I was skeptical about visiting a food court, but I'm very satisfied. A great one stop shop for a lot of Thai and Japanese foods. I wouldn't say everything was the best taste, but this place deserves 5 stars for variety, convenience, and cleanliness.

It’s a really interesting place and it’s a one stop solution to all the food craving but do note that it will be a little pricey compare to the streets but well think about it. Clean, air condition, all the food you want. For that price? I honestly think it’s fair!

Replica of the Iconic Floating Market *but better - air-conditioned - no stinky smell - can go to stalls you only want to go to - prices of food/snacks are not over priced sooksiam is connected to iconsiam, and is connected to alot of places.

  • 2/5 Joseph D. 3 months ago on Google • 24 reviews New
The place is basically Iconsiam, but they just named the food court as SookSiam. It was a bit disappointing really. We went there to see the Indoor floating Market as they say, but it is just like small ponds actually. It is mainly a food court that sells very much over priced Thai food. If you don't have much time to go around and eat, you can go here. But if you will still stay longer, I would suggest for you to explore more the city and eat somewhere that will give a more authentic Thai food experience. You can come here to go shopping and watch the scenic view of the river and fountain.

This is a pretty unique “mall in a mall” - it’s like all the food stalls from every one of the 77 provinces of Thailand put in one large indoor space, as well as a good selection of souvenirs and other items to go for. We also bought some snacks to try (sliced mango and grilled pork belly), even if the Grilled Crocodile is a bit too adventurous for us haha… The guys at ICONSIAM also recreated scenes of the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in this place!

So many options from bunch of different small stands. It was so hard to pick what to eat because everything looked good. I had to come back on the different day to try out other foods. I tried fresh mango/ watermelon juice, spicy pork with rice, Tom yum kum kun, marinated salmon, pad thai, and somtam.

This is the area in IconSiam where they sell street food from several regions in Thailand. One can opt to sit and dine along the "river" or find some benches on the mezzanine level. The food prices are quite affordable too.. just a tad higher than those sold in the streets. Eating street food here is a very nice experience and be sure to take lots of photos because the place is very Instagrammable. There are also some vendors selling souvenirs items.

Wow! So much food, so many great places to eat all in one place. Tried so many things, all so delicious. Great place to come with friends or family or as a tourist. Also a great place to buy souvenirs. Maybe just when I went there was live music, but it seems like a regular thing. Very bustling. Really cute ambiance, designed like a floating market. It's a bit Disney-esque fake Thailand but it's oh so good! Considering the real floating markets in Bangkok are all awful tourist traps, this is actually high quality food at cheaper prices and much nicer ambiance. Ironically, more local Thai come here than the dirty floating markets too. So it's actually more authentic! 😂

Wow, a floating market inside a shopping mall. What a great idea. As we've arrived at IconSiam we headed straight to the ground floor to Sook Siam for lunch. The area looks so authentic with the water and all the vendors. They've put so much attention to details. You need to go to this mall just to see this floating market. It wasn't easy to decide at which stand to get the food, there are so many choices. The food was fresh and delicious. It does cost a little bit more, but still good prices. There are lots of places to sit down, but at peak times it may take a moment to find a free table. It took us maybe a minute or so. We have enjoyed Sook Siam a lot and cannot wait to our next visit here.

Well decorated air-conditioning bazaar located in the luxury ICON Siam shopping mall. Probably the busiest and the best zone to spend time in this shopping mall. The location is a bit of from the city center though. The zone are divided into 4 different parts of Thailand and selling foods as well as local products. Price is relatively low.

The place allows visitors to sample a large variety of street food under one roof. Unlike the usual boring food courts, the place is themed as the floating markets with not only food but also local handicrafts. There are a lot of snacks one can buy as souvenirs or to munch on in the hotel. The only problem I found was the seating. It’s really difficult to find a spot to eat the food you’ve bought especially when you are in a group of 5 or more.

  • 5/5 Mia M. 2 years ago on Google
I went to this place in 2019. It's a nice mall but if you're Muslim be careful and make sure it's halal.

  • 3/5 The Gal T. 1 year ago on Google
3 years on from my last visit - the place has dramatically changed to incorporate many local street vendors that gives it a very bustling vibe without having to go to a night market. It’s like eating street food in aircon comfort. There are lots to pick from - be it seafood, meat, noodles, fruits, dessert, and snacks. For those who need halal food, there are also quite a few stalls to pick from. You can also purchase some souvenirs here. Within the same floor there is a supermarket to pick up groceries and more snacks as souvenirs. One thing to note is that because they are street vendors, you will need to bring cash with you. Don’t forget to climb the steps upstairs so get an top down picture!

  • 5/5 A 1 year ago on Google
Was a bit skeptical at first when I heard the floating market is now basically indoors. but I had an absolute blast. So many options, extremely affordable. only issue was the limited seating, food court style gotta wait/hunt for a table. Ended the eating trip with a quick foot massage that's just by the escalators, a little more expensive than the usual Thai massage prices as this is in a mall and a tourist magnet.
