This is an old, but well maintained hotel. It has not changed much since we started using it around year 2000. But it is still great. The rooms are much bigger than in a new hotel in the same price range. Our room had two very comfortable armchairs a monster bed and a large bathroom. You feel it everywhere else in the hotel as well, the stairs are wide, and the breakfast hall is great, and so is the breakfast. Pool area has been upgraded since last time we were here and the gym is small but well equipped. The location is also great. Only a short walk to the skytrain. And to top it all the staff does everything they can to further improve your experience.

Had a very pleasant stay here for 2 weeks in October 2022. Previously I had stayed here for 2 weeks in September 2016 too. The rooms are tidy, the housekeeping are very generous with water bottles and toiletries etc. The breakfast service had a lot of varieties of food and drinks. The bars stock all the local beers and spirits, with very friendly bar staff. All the staff in the hotel are genuinely nice people and you are always greeted with a smile at the door. At night the view from the rooftop bar is absolutely gorgeous, the view from the hotel rooms is nice too. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is absolutely amazing in terms of hospitality, food available, amenities included, and the best location in terms of public transport connectivity as well as its proximity to most popular attractions in Bangkok. Also, if you do take a room on one of the high floors, you get stunning views of the city and it’s definitely worth it!

We had an enjoyable three night stay here during our short stay in Bangkok. The hotel is ideally located close to transport links, making it very convenient for travelling around. The staff are super friendly and extremely attentive. The hotel itself and the rooms were brilliant and clean. I did find that the rooms were quite loud - especially since we were staying on the top floor. You would think that some of the most expensive rooms wouldn’t be so loud. Our room was directly below one of the restaurants so every night it was very loud with the noise of chairs against the floor until very late. The hotel restaurants and bar were amazing, with lots of food choices and options. However the breakfast, whilst it had good options, was chaotic. The room in which breakfast was held was very loud and made for a stressful experience so we only ate breakfast here once and chose to eat elsewhere for the rest of our trip. The facilities in the room were mostly great, with a very comfortable bed and amazing views of the city from our window. The shower however was not enjoyable as the temperature and pressure fluctuated dramatically every time you used it, no matter what time of day. Overall a very pleasant hotel that we would suggest to others who stay in the city due to its convenient location.

Lovely hotel, great location and very friendly staff. Great big pool to relax at. Their roof bar has a nice view over the city as well. The furniture in the rooms have seen better days though, they are a little scuffed, still a nice bed and room to sleep in.

Conveniently located. 7 to 8 minutes walking distance from the nearest metro and 10 minutes from Terminal 21. The spacious lobby is dominating and gives the guest an outline of the great experience that can be expected. The staffs are courteous and polite. Excellent and sumptuous breakfast spread, everything will satisfy your taste buds. There are multiple restaurants few minutes walking distance from this hotel. Of the two rooms booked, one was a family room. The family room had a bunk bed which decently big and comfortable. Rooms were spacious and had all amenities expected including basic toiletries. Used the gym and pool. The hotel tariff is affordable. Would consider staying here again.

The customer service is excellent, you will always be made to feel welcome and the reception staff are very approachable and friendly. The rooftop bar is worth visiting for the views at night! The hotel is located conveniently within walking distance of the underground and train station, as well as the 'Terminal 21' mall.

To be honest, we should have chosen a hotel by the airport for our overnight stop. Our fault. The Rembrandt is over an hour from the airport, so it's a trudge to get there. On check in we had to wait at the desk for service. No big deal, but nowhere near the standard of the other Thai hotels we stayed in (who all welcomed us to wait in a comfortable lounge, with a refreshing drink). Our room had no soap ( or toiletries). It was clearly an oversight and quickly remedied, but indicative of a lack of attention to detail. Our room also lacked soundproofing. There was a pool party below our window which was very noisy but it did stop at 10:30 so it didn't disturb our sleep. We ate out because we didn't fancy the Mexican or North Indian cuisine on offer. While the breakfast buffet was lovely, it was an odd shaped dining area which was next to a smokers area. The door and walls didn't prevent the odour of tobacco throughout our meal. In all, a bit of a tired, old-fashioned atmosphere pervaded.

Found this hotel on hotels.com, and all I can say is I went into heaven and won the lottery simultaneously. The old saying is true"first impressions count", and the reception staff, in particular Michelle, were genuinely remarkable, with all staff simply going that extra mile. The concierge knew everything about Bangkok and so no worries. Having just recently reopened from Covid, the efforts of customer service, professionalism and attention to detail were truly superb. The rooms were genuinely spacious and clean, and the restaurants, mainly Mexican, were out of this World. Indeed every detail has been taken care of, allowing you to relax and enjoy your well-deserved holiday.

I REALLY screwed up, and accidentally booked for a month later than I intended to check in. Staff were very quick to help adjust my dates, and in doing so saved me a lot of hardship and potential sunk money. Thank you so much. Also the hotel is great. Staff are very kind and professional. Room is nice. Would recommend. Update: I should also add that the AC is crisp and effective, and they have 4 very fast, high end elevators so that you're not spending several minutes standing and waiting.

The staff are very nice. The view of my room was nice. Just a stain on the outside of the glass made it less attractive. The water took so long to get warm. And there's no bidet spray installed so it could be a big minus for those who used to having it.

Lovley hotel great pool and Mexican and Indian restaurant in the hotel. The decor is quaint but I love the old fashioned decor so it's a plus for me. Our bed was very big and very comfortable.rooms equipped with coffee , tea facility, fridge ,iron ironing board, safe. Big bathroom plenty of plug sockets and good air conditioning. Breakfast was fantastic very large choice of food and eggs cooked on the spot. Would definitely stay here again.

Rembrandt is a decent hotel. I loved the room there. It was spacious, well kept and the washroom was also neat. They provide you with tea and coffee maker. The view from the room was quite good as well. However the service is not at all impressive. The staff here is very rude. During breakfast, they are not corporative. The breakfast buffet was decent. It had good options but the food was average. They have a couple of restaurants inside the hotel. The Mexican restaurant is really good but very expensive. I paid Rs.4800 (Around 200 Bhat) for 2 dishes that I ordered here.

Stayed here for one night while attending a party at the hotel. I was very impressed with everything, including all the employees, especially the Front Office Manager, a gal, who offered me outstanding service. I thought the pool was amazing, finally a nice blue clean pool in Thailand! You'd be surprised how many hotels I stay at that are considered nice here, but the pool has an off green color. Not this one, it's excellent, as is the pool deck. The room was great, the staff was great, location great, breakfast was even very good. I am going to stay here again for my Wedding Anniversary in February. If you come to the Bangkok area, this hotel is an absolute gem, I highly recommend it, and if you get the chance to speak with the Front Office Manager, the gal is extraordinary, you can easily tell she's gone through a Hotel Management program. Great stay here!

Booked this hotel for a night on the new years eve. The location is an advantage coz it's just a walking distance to the MRT asoke and close to the malls. The view on the pool is stunning. Very impressive pool. The room is a bit small but the amenities in the room is fantastic and complete. Highly recommended.

Thank you for making our wedding such a perfect night! Thanks for all of your help leading up to the wedding and for the exceptional service the night of the Mehendi and Wedding. The newly renovated ball room is gorgeous! Mehendi Function held at Maxicano Restaurant by the pool was also flawless. Our guests had nothing but good things to say. Special Thanks to Vidur and K Jaang for your excellent service and stepping up where ever needed!!

Excellent hotel in the city center. Amazing staff, very friendly and polite people. The nearest metro station was about 6 - 7 minutes walking from the hotel. The room we stayed was small, but nice and clean. It was a value for money choice. The view from the top was amazing and the drinks were good. Had a great time there.

+ generally well equipped, good value, kind and attentive staff, clean, fast and reliable internet, nice pool, comfy bad - a bit worn down, strangely located entrance, outdated oldskool television, no buffet breakfast (guess its covid stuff), no coffee in room

Everything at the hotel is awesome including the front desk and the staff. But the reason for giving single star is the lady who is there to attend “in room dining” calls. 1- I called in room dining to order potato fries for my kids. I politely told her to add only salt not anything else. As I’m from India and we get potato fries with many flavours here in India. All of sudden she started arguing with me that potato fries come with salt only all across the world and started shouting on me. 2- I also ordered a cup of tea. She again started fighting with me by saying you already have tea bags and electric cattle in your room, why can’t you make tea at your own! She must have a mental issue I guess as She fights and then calm then again fight! The way that lady fought with me is a black spot on the image of this hotel. If the hotel barge the call of in room dining then they should listen the recording of that order!

Wonderful experience. I had a quick check-in. The rooms were clean, and the linen was changed every day. The breakfast spread was better than most hotels. What is most appreciable is the room service, which is quick and courteous. A suggestion for improvement is to include more Thai dishes in your menu. We do not want to splurge only on Indian dishes in Bangkok (being from India)

Service at hotel really good. Stayed there on and off for last fifteen years. Rooms in need of refurbishment. Decor and furniture a little dated. Would also benefit from a service lift so staff and luggage deliveries are not seen by guests.

Overall I was pleased with my stay finding the service friendly and efficient. The room was fine although I think if I stay again I would book your Suites as I would like more space. The only area for improvement was the Television which was old with a damaged screen and there was no programme list that I could find

I didn't stay here, but I went there at their restaurant and rooftop bar and took the opportunity to explore the area a little. There's a fine Indian restaurant on the top floor along with a rooftop bar that offers beautiful cityscapes. Perfect place to enjoy a lovely sunset over the city. The staff throughout the premises were friendly and helpful. The location is great too, being almost at the heart of the city and yet offering a somewhat calm and quite atmosphere. Overall, it seems like a place you can't go wrong with.

Love the hotel and their staff. Really good and cozy place to stay in Bangkok. Close to almost every area and with good metro connectivity. The hotel is very neat and clean and breakfast spread is good. This was my second visit and due to Football World Cup, they were giving happy hours late in the night. 👍👍👍👍👍

Great place to stay in central Bangkok. Very close to great shopping and restaurants. Also, public transportation very accessible. Staff were great and super helpful. Family rooms were perfect with bunk bed and queen bed in the room. Breakfast buffet was perfect and lunches and dinners at the pool and Mexicano were exactly what we needed after a long day out.

I got a great price so I tried the Rembrandt. The hotel is large and doesn't look so good from the outside. The service at the front desk was kind and efficient. The rooms fooled me. When I first entered I thought it looked run down. The furniture was a bit used yet the bed was new and provided good support. The a/c was almost too good. The bathroom was spacious, as was the room, and had excellent fixtures made of brass that functioned better than most modern installations. The hotel has old school brass fixtures from entry, to the elevator, to the room. I wouldn't know where to buy such heavy duty fittings and they would be unaffordable at today's prices. These older building materials hold up to the test of time and with maintenance still look and function better than 99% of the accommodations I have visited. The rooms are quiet and I was never disturbed by noise in other rooms or the hallway. The pool area is well maintained as are all common areas. Once I got past the bias that the hotel looked old I began to appreciate the financial difficulty of building such a place today. The Rembrandt is a step back into old world hotels that are well maintained and offer a great customer experience. Aside from a few scuff marks on the wood, not laminate, furniture this hotel is a hidden gem, in a great location, and is value priced. I felt comfortable staying at the Rembrandt. Recommended

A very nice hotel in the middle of everything. Very nice staff, who will help with almost anything. A pool on the side of the building nice and fresh. The breakfast had a big variety and good coffee, whats not to like! With a chef whom prepares omelets, scrambled eggs etc. On your order. Didnt try the restaurants here as the prices were alot more expensive than just eating at the big mall or local restaurants.

Sunday brunch at the Indian/Mexican on floor 26 of the Rembrandt hotel was good although some of the curries needed replenishing as by the time we were ready for them(about half way through the lunchtime session most only had minimal amounts of meat left. Having said that the sauces were good:

The hotel is in a very good location, walking distance from Terminal 21 shopping mall and Metro stations. You can also easily catch a taxi from outside the hotel. The swimming pool at 11th floor was not busy (we went in April), the food at the restaurant next to the pool was very good. Unfortunately the other hotel pool was closed when we were there. Pool could do with a bit more frequent cleaning, but generally was ok and my 4 year old had a great time!

The Rembrandt was home base for my 3-week tour group, and we checked in and out 3 times during our travels. Everything was great, from the helpful concierge storing baggage, ordering taxis, and providing umbrellas, to housekeeping bringing up extra bottles of drinking water, to the front desk’s seamless assistance with little things like making change a time or two. The Red Pepper is an excellent restaurant for breakfast at the hotel, and the coffee was always lovely, omelettes quickly made to order, not to mention the vast offerings of fruit, pastries, Indian food, Thai food, and American food. I appreciated the Rembrandt’s commitment to sustainable hospitality with their refrain from using plastics at all customer touch points. I even got the chance to meet some of the staff and management—wonderful people!

All staff very friendly excluding the front line female manager. Rooms tired but clean and housekeeping was excellent. Fantastic selection at breakfast. Pool area was nice, not a lot of sunbeds for the size of the hotel but we were out and about whilst we were there and only used it once. Great shower facilities and changing rooms with hairdryers which were ideal after checking out but flight was not until 2am. Really good central location with a variety of shops and restaurants on the doorstep.

Thank you to your entire staff for making my stay so pleasant during a difficult time recovering from surgery. Every person took great care to ensure my needs were met, beginning with reception who moved me to a room that had a wheelchair-accessible shower. The room was clean, the operators were polite, the food service was prompt and delicious, and the bellmen were kind and extremely helpful. Thank you so much for your care for me. I look forward to staying with you again!
