We had to wait almost 30-40 minutes to get our food though and I believe most of the other diners had already placed their order in advance. This is something you should considering doing if you plan on checking out this place during peak hours. We ordered, 1. ‘Mutton Biryani’ Family Pack (3-4 people) - SR. 60 2. ‘Beef Bhuna Hua’ - SR. 25 3. ‘Chicken 65’ - SR. 19 The ‘Mutton Biryani’ Family Pack can easily feed 3 very hungry people or 4 people and this is great value considering it’s cheaper when you split it 4 ways. I love how it comes topped with ‘Chicken 65’ and this is quite a flavour enhancer. The meat is tender and the masala is rendered beautifully but it could have done with a few more pieces of meat. The ‘Beef Bhuna Hua’ packs some heat but has a ton of flavour at the same time. I loved how well it goes with the free chapatti that they serve and the only drawback that I felt was that the meat wasn’t tender enough. This would go amazingly well with some plain rice. The ‘Chicken 65’ was just ok. It was a bit too salty for my liking but works well when you mix it with the Biryani. The chicken is cooked well though so it’s just a matter of seasoning. 3.5 out of 5

try going to this place on weekends. mostly recommend a bachelor place. they serve zaffrani biryani on weekends for dinner which is really worth a try. also there mutton fry is good.

This place has been the “go to place” since long… now after almost 3 years, they have increased the dine in area for singles apart from the family dine on the first floor.. dishes are very tasty… best Hyderabadi Dum ki Biryani (Mutton) in Easter province… congratulations

Went to this restaurant for the first time on 15th Sept. ( take away ). Chicken 65 was horrible.. full of oil, chicken was floating in oil with a so much of colour. Did not eat. Mutton biriyani had only 2 small pieces! Rice quantity was more and biriyani taste was just ok with less spices . Sweet was just bread pieces, with orange colour deep fried in ghee / oil.. worst ! Did not meet my expectations !! Not worthed to try!!

I ordered a biriyani. It was OK. I would not say that this is the best biriyani. I felt some flavour missing from the typical hyderabadi style biriyani.

If you are looking for Authentic Hyderabadi Biryani. This is a perfect place. Other dishes are also good. Only issue is parking in that area.

Had ordered the following items:- 1) Beef fry- Not well fried. 2) Chicken fry- It was having a sweet flavour. 3) Shahi Tukda- Taste was miserable.. Couldn't eat after tasting. Oil used was old. 4) Biryani- Did not open as couldn't see much mutton pieces. Chapati was not at all fresh. In my opinion, Shalimar restaurant is the finest when it comes to Hyderabadi food in Khobar. Double check before going to this hotel.

The actual authentic taste of Hyderabadi biryani ...... tastes perfect .... the chicken 65 was amazing although it left my mouth burning😅. Service can definitely be improved on though

The ambiance of the Restaurant was good. But the dining area is very congested. If you are planning to visit with family, I'll suggest not to visit on Weekends. Service: The sevice is a bit slow. You need to wait at least 15-20mins. Food: Tried Chicken 65 and Mutton Biryani. The roti/bread served here are very crisp not soft enough to enjoy the food.

First point is briyani price 25 sar and they don't accept debit cards on Friday's,The second point taste and price of briyani is not up to the mark as like Riyadh Branch ,Third point small smile will make more magic with the consumer's.forget to write about bread sweet good one but oil is More.

Visited with family. As usual all the food ordered was very delicious and mouth watering. New arrangement after extension has given excellent ambiance and comfort space for family. Highly recommend to families and friends for authentic delicious Hyderabadi food.

Biryani was Good. Butter Chicken usually should be completely Gravy with Boneless Chicken. But Received in a Different style with onions, peppers, Tomato. Not Good Actually.

Restaurant need to focus on quality control, as I had consecutive not so good experiences. And anything beyond biryani is pretty average.

Khana Khazana is a hyderabadi restaurant located inside Khobar. We ordered their jumbo biryani which is enough for 6 persons to eat. The taste of the biryani was average. We also ordered chicken 65 which was average too. The restaurant have family section in the first floor. And the parking is a bit difficult.

I dined at Khan Khazama in Al Khobar Subaukha. The mutton Mutka was average, not too impressive. Similarly, the chicken jalfrezi was just okay. The seating area was decent, but overall, the experience didn't stand out.

Food is reasonably good for the price. However hygienic should be maintained at high level as current location won't support to maintain the same. Further location is not suitable either for family dinning or take way due conjunction and no proper parking. As such recommend for different location with parking facilities I.e Khobar Rakka, if the owners looking forward to cater to upper middle class customer segment.
