The food is really good and the portion size is very big and filling!!! The staffs were also really friendly!! A must go restaurant for authentic INDIAN FOOD. Coconut Kiss is a must try Non-Alcoholic Cocktail it is reallllyy good.

Every single Indian restaurant that I've tried since then, simply doesn't taste as good. Nevertheless today we hit the jackpot and the food was simply amazing. It took me back to those nice times I had enjoying Indian cuisine. The service staff were very friendly and we have absolutely not a single complain. The premises are extremely clean,the atmosphere is lovely,and the food is both delicious and beautifully presented on the contrary, I recommend this place if u want to have really original tasty Indian food. We ordered online chicken biryani and chicken curry, the portions were for a child, the rice, tasteless saltless rice, was like not more than 8 spoons!! the chicken is strong, chewy and tasteless. Everything was different from the images, it seems they never care about delivered orders and maybe split the dish to three orders or more if they can!

We live in California and were visiting Kiel, Germany when we found this wonderful Indian/Pakistani restaurant. Food portions were large and the quality was excellent. We had Chicken Tikka Masala and Tandoori Chicken. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Both my wife and I have spent a lot of time in India, so I want to preface this review in that context. Sadhu is an excellent recent addition to the city which while offering a shall we say somewhat "westernised palate" experience, does so with what I personally consider as the 3 key success factors for long-term success in gastronomy : 1. excellent fresh produce ingredients 2. Consistent high quality taste, temperature and presentation experience for the same dish and 3. Superior customer service. These, are hard working folk who (so far) seem to understand this. They have a fairly standard Indian menu covering the well known dishes from the subcontinent. Their "Shrimp Tikka" and "Biryani Rice" are two I'd easily recommend as examples. Try their special bew "Chai Tea" (sweet) for something you will not find elsewhere packed with layers of flavour. We both eat in and, do takeaway ( the latter more than the former) and here is where you notice their attention to detail and customer commitment. Is it what you will find in a trip to India?... Not exactly, but is it a fantastic, enjoyable, repeatable and great service experience? Absolutely. Go try them out and if you're picking up your food, enjoy the complimentary lassi as you wait....

Food is delicious, atmosphere great, staff the kindest of all the places I’ve been to. Also it is really clean and you aren’t going to wait more than 15 minutes for your meal. Really a must go while in kiel - dishes are original and there is plenty of options for you to choose from. Maybe a thing to consider - adding original Indian beers to the menu, to spice it up even more.

This spot gives extraordinary service and delicious meals. One of my favourite Indian restaurants around town. The meals served rapidly and the rates were reasonable. Cocktails wow, wine great and lovely selection of beers. Love this place and Can totally recommend it and will definitely come back again.

If you like Indian food and spices and you're in Kiel, have a visit to Sadhu. I'm pretty sure they won't disappoint you. Their range of cooking with South Asian spices is really great. Other than that, the staff were all extremely cordial and that adds to the willingness to visit again. As an Indian, I would say one of the best Indian restaurants in Germany.

It was such a nice dinner. It felt like home with all the decorations and songs. The food as also really good. The service was also nice, friendly and welcoming. It was our first time here but we will be visiting here again.
