Spectacular restaurant with amazing architecture. I love the interior design and the blend of wood and earth. The restaurant overlooks a pool and the music was just perfect blend of old African hits! The food is amazingly delicious and perfectly complements the architecture.

Perfect! But not stable...

The best, if not one of the best restaurants in Kigali. Reasonable prices and superb food. Service was fast and staff was courteous. Nice decor and quiet setting. Worth a visit.

Good service, nice decor, relaxing environment, next to pool and different seating choices. Food was ok. The waiter was soft spoken so I couldn't hear him well. Creamy soup was good but tiny serving. The salad was weirdly decorated, confusing to eat and no idea what mixes with what but does play with many parts of your taste buds. The duck was decent, sauce does not help with the duck flavour and the duck didn't have enough fats to properly flavour the meat but it was tender enough for the most part. Price is above average.

How wonderful it was to be at fusion! It was such a great pleasure being here, I never expected to be so welcomed in an extra ordinary way with such an amazing smile on every smile of every staff at the Retreat! Specifically I want to appreciate "Clemence" your guest relations. She's so talented on what she does. I walked in for a breakfast but ended up coming back for the brunch the next day only because of her, she specifically advice me to join one of your weekend brunches and I don't regret to have joined it....... She's a good recommendation to whoever wants to visit the Retreat.... You will be so excited for the tour that she provide! Hope to come back someday!

Hands down the most upscale restaurant in Kigali. I came here for dinner with my friends and we had a great time. I really love how knowledgeable the waitstaff was about their best cocktails and most ordered dishes. On top of that, the location is so beautiful! Either inside or out next to the pool there is a romantic glow to this location that makes you feel like you are in a dream. I definitely recommend this place for any size of party, as the staff are quite accommodating to your needs if you give them enough time. Overall 10/10 experience. I can't wait to go back!

This is the incredibly beautiful poolside restaurant at the equally great Retreat Hotel in Kigali. The food was fresh, inventive, and eclectic, mixing Indian flavors with traditional Rwandese and continental cuisine. The setting is perfection: warm and breezy, looking out over the twinkling lights of Kigali, flowers and candles everywhere. The cocktails are delicious. We brought our middle-school kids, who were warmly welcomed, but you could just as easily bring a date. Make a reservation, because it fills up quickly!

We came here for appetizers and drinks. The shrimp rolls were great and so are the smoothies. Would highly recommend Fusion for any traveler in Kigali who likes living the good life.

Two of us ate off the specials menu, with average success. Nothing was bad, but also nothing stood-out. Some dishes were trying too hard (Zanzibar prawns) and the the salad had competing flavors as well. The Nike perch was in a sauce that needed salt, acid, and spice. Uninspiring. Macadamia tart was nice, but the trio of ice cream was a huge miss- 3 totally different flavors served in the same bowl and many bites had chunks of ice like fewer burn or not well combined. The cream coated the spoon in a way that didn’t want you diving back into the bowl for more. Service was nice, as were drinks, coffees and ambiance. Say by the pool but by sunset, felt buggy because the pool looked stagnant, rather than a pump moving it to keep it clean and mosquito clean. The top layer had that buggy film. For the price, it didn’t deliver. Disappointing after reading reviews and people saying it’s Michelin worthy. Coming from the Cape Town food scene, it couldn’t compete.

The staff were very friendly and attentive and the setting is beautiful. Very peaceful. However, the pasta main course was a very small portion for almost 20USD. I left feeling very hungry still and I had to order room service back at my hotel!

The food and service were fantastic! We really enjoyed our time at Fusion. I would highly recommend the pork skewers as a starter 10/10.
