Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Kathmandu ! Upon arrival i was warmly welcomed by the general manager. The staff was extremely friendly they will offer u tea or coffee as compliment. Ihad two great night here, which obviously also added up to the experience. Located at the very posh area thamel which is know for the night life every good restaurant and clubs are withing less than 500m like reef and full moon cafe. You can get private room as well as dormitories at very cheap and affordable rate like for 8 bed sharing dormitories u just need to pay hard 3 $ or you can pay in ur currency. The washroom is neat and clean. Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent

The hostel is cheap, but at a cost of conveniences. I'm currently in a 6 bed dormroom. There is no AC or fan, which means the windows must be open. This in turn means a lot of mosquitoes and street noise until 3am (I know because both kept me up until then). There is a power outlet next to my bed, however my charger does not stay attached (it simply falls out, which I'm guessing means the outlets are very old and worn). The mattress is very firm (I like that to be honest). The bathrooms seem cleanish, but perhaps moldy and certainly uninviting. Breakfast and drinking water is not included (this alone means other accommodations are a better deal). Finally, the staff did not act helpful at all. Every time I come to the lobby, they are laying on couches- most on their phones and ignoring me. They were only excited when I arrived. I asked about a public bus to the airport and was given brief two word responses. Spend $4-6 dollars on a better accommodation, you'll get free drinking water and breakfast which will end up actually saving you money.

This is definitely not what I was expecting from the pictures and information online. The room was bigger, 8 people instead of 4 (you could only see 4 beds on the picture of booking). It was also quite disorganized, the owner had no idea if there was a vacant bed in the room, so he had to check by coming into the room and leaving without closing the door (during night and morning). The location may seem quiet but it's not, the windows were above a small street connecting 2 busy streets of Thamel, so lots of people are using it for a shortcut. Therefore it get really noisy during the night (and there were no glass window to reduce the noise). There were also no locker to secure your stuff and the wifi was garbage. For this price, you could surely find something better.

No hot water dir a bath tub. Staff Not communicating until asking specifically. We lost more than 2 hours of our precious time in Kathmandu to this Situation. At least we got our money back afterwards. Found a nice Hotel some meters from there which was only 100 rupies more, Clean, with AC, hot water, everything you wished for.

It's really hard to find this place and it's located inside dirty narrow alley. Rooms are not clean, dark and also you have to sleep all night listening to SUPER LOUD club music. Good point? Just cheep price. Not recommend.

Hard to find. Took a Lot of time to Check in, and then there was no hot water, even though we specifically asked for a bath tub. Room was not Clean. They offered another room in an adjacent Hotel, but there the gas heater was also not working properly. We got our money back without issue though.

The hostel is located in a dark, dirty little street at the back of the main buildings. You’ll find rats and a lot of trash around. It smells awful in the neighborhood. The room was full of COCKROACHES. The staff proposed a change of rooms, but the substitution was even worse - no mosquito nets in the windows. Instead of refund they proposed a free taxi. You need to be careful for the services they provide e.g. overpriced laundry. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, there’re other budgets places in Kathmandu with way better standard.

I've been staying here on my every visit to Kathmandu for last three years. What makes it so special is the staff, they are so nice welcoming offering you tea and coffee for free! And of course the bed/rooms/whole hotel is very clean, with hot showers and there is a really nice roof top to chill with WiFi. The hotel is in middle of Thamel, perfect location and easy to find.

Stayed here for couple of nights when in kathmandu. Decent budget stay. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and kept well. The hostel is in a narrow lane, so its a bit of wandering inside tiny lanes. They have laundry service at 1kg for 100 npr pricing. There is a common space in 5th floor, but nothing much there except a terrace and some seating place. On request, you can arrange a cab to airport anytime through the staff. There were few things that could be improved to make stays easy. In the dorm i was staying, we could hear water drowning the pipes, it was pretty annoying at times when you are asleep. The bathrooms door latches would not work most of the times. Bathrooms or toilet were not too tidy or clean, so that could be fixed. The hot water heater doesnt well consistent, I had trouble taking hot water bath as water would heat only a tiny amount and immediately go back to being cold again. If the management could fix these, it would be more pleasant.

Bed okay. Cleanliness, breakfast, staff minimal. Lockers only available in some dorms. Some people from other dorms without lockers use lockers in other dorms. Staff but helpful. Rooftop to hang laundry is straight-out a dump (see picture). Sitting area on rooftop looks really neat. Four showers including two toilets available for all dorms. Mostly clean but soap trays and things needed cleaning or replacement. Staff not unfriendly, but not always helpful either - not really professional. Beds relatively soft, sheets clean.

I really didn't liked the room and ambience therefore I don't want to recommend this hotel to anyone. I totally regretted choosing it because the bathroom was not functioning well and blankets were dirty (smelly).
